its an opinion plus fact. wanna risk blood clot? i wouldnt. and its efficacy is also low compared to moderna or pfizer. j&j vaccine now comes with a warning here in the US, due to potentially lethal side effects.
i took pfizer, which has the highest effectiveness of them all
Which one you getting? i believe j&j is single dose.
I also got Pfizer and i felt bad for about 2 days after receiving the first shot and then suddenly it was all gone. A Strange experience.

Eg, removing my phone from my lap and putting it in my G -suit before pulling the ejection handle (I had to use the compass of the phone and AirNav Pro application to navigate),

NAF did little, they haven't learnt how to safely locate and extract pilots, imagine using his own phone?! cry

I pity the people in the location he mentioned, the NA won't save them now and the poor Emir... undecided
I read this pilots note with great interest.

I have to say a GPS beacon and a satellite phone would have helped to locate the pilot imminently.

It can never be $25-$30m cheesy
It is very very optimistic of course but they will probably not develop any new components for this jet, instead they might utilize already developed radiation-absorbent materials, avionics, sensors, weapon-system integration and engines from the SU57. The air-frame design itself is inexpensive compared to those components. Setting up an advanced production line and managing sophisticated manufacturing processes would certainly need a huge amount of investments but this presupposes some substantial orders in the book.

If this aircraft doesn't have an IWB, then it's a significant loss. The design looks very aerodynamic too.

Quite a number of countries have developed tech to beat stealthy planes, which was bound to happen anyway.

I think there's a type of attack aircraft to cover all requirements.

There's a huge market for this sort of aircraft, but we'll have to wait and see what the official unveiling would bring.
At least this is a huge media stunt for Sukhoi, questionable if the Russian air force is interested at all but it caches some attraction from countries that have no access to western stealth technology if those are ready to invest into the companies Research & Development.

Still can't figure out Russia's fascination with"tube" fighter jets. From the MiG-15, MiG-17, MiG-19, MiG-21, Su-17, Su-22.

Now this, an advanced model of the type I listed above.
They develop their platforms evolutionary rather than risking a radical new design approach. Same with the MIG29, SU30, SU57 line of aircraft.

I post this here because this is most (if not only) option for the NAF to have a Stealth Fighter in its inventory within the next decade .

To me and many others this fighter jet looks like a better version of Boeing X-32 that lost to the X-35 (F-35) in the early 2000s.

Only 7 of them are coming with optical/infrared targeting system huh
As someone said before it is unlikely that all 12 Aircraft will operate in the air at the same time. Therefore the FLIR Gimbal is interchangeable, additionally the lead aircraft can also designate targets for its wingman with the targeting system.

This is the Aks the Russian soldiers use.
But why Nigeria military don't make use of the American rifles, like the M16a rifles?
This rifle is a AK100 in 7.62×39mm. The Russians use AK74 variants in 5.45×39mm. Generally speaking most countries in the aAmericas, Europe and Asia use smaller caliber for many good reasons. The reason why we use the 7.62×39mm is that they are billions of surplus ammo left in east european army depots that are sold for pennies to armies world wide. One of the reasons why we never started the production of such kind of ammo.

A complete overhaul of our inventory is a must in this decade (although i dont see the funds for that anywhere) and maybe we change caliber and switch to more modern carabine rifles.

Sure i agree especially the SBS is in urgent need for an upgrade, and of course you wont want top put an 100$ optics on a 3000$ rifle.

light is good? Why do all CT Units around the world do for maximum protection and hightec grear in every aspect? And for the SBS i assume a lack of founds at the Navy to equip all SBS operators to the highest quality standards they would deserve.

NIGERIAN NAVY SPECIAL BOAT SERVICE PERSONNEL CONDUCT SUCCESSFUL CLEARANCE/RECOVERY OPERATION IN BAGA, BORNO STATE

Special Boat Service personnel of the Naval Base Lake Chad (NBLC) in conjunction with personnel of 403 Special Force Amphibious Brigade and Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) have conducted a clearance/ recovery operation at Baga. The operation was led by the Commander NBLC, Commodore Alexander Bingel.

The operation, which lasted for 4 days covered Federal College of Freshwater Fisheries Technology (FCFFT), Doro Baga, Tangon guava, Kwatan gaba and Kwatan kuyet, was successfully executed and resulted in the recovery of a box of 40mm Automatic Grenade Launcher (AGL) balls. While appreciating the combat vigour and resilience of the troops, the Commander NBLC, Commodore Bingel commended the troops for their discipline, courage, doggedness and cooperation towards the success of the operation. The troops, not swayed by the success of the operation, projected further to ensure no elements of ISWAP terrorists were left within the area.

Hours after the alleged pact of Boko Haram and ISWAP, a coordinated multiple airstrikes yesterday by aircraft from the Nigerian Airforce have destroyed their strongholds in Sabon Tumbu, Jibularam and Kwalaram, all in the Lake Chad region in Borno State; neutralizing scores including Ali Chakkar and other top commanders who were holding meeting at a spiritual base also dismantled.
Any official statement from the NAF and DHQ?

As an addendum Nigeria's brand new JF-17 THUNDER fourth generation plus Multi-role Fighter Jet is not an improvement on what obtained before in the NAF but an addition of a totally whole new generation of air combat capabilities presently non-existent anywhere else in sub-saharan Africa except in Nigeria.
You forgot the the SU30s in the Angola and Uganda Air Forces inventory.
