This role is in the IJu/Ishaga neighbourhood of Lagos State. It is an industrial bakery undergoing expansion.

The preferred candidate must have a minimum of 5 years experience in Bread Sales in Lagos.. No inexperienced person will be considered for this role.

Please if you have not sold family sized bread at a commercial level please do not bother to apply. You will not be shortlisted.

Salary for this position is between 1.5 Mill to to 2.5Mill per annum.

Hello Nairalanders,

I've been here for a while now and having evaluated certain things on the forum I think I'll get the sincerest of answers to my question.

I intend to study law; I'm good with my English, have a formidable sense of logical and critical reasoning and naturally charismatic. These should be the basic requirements for intending lawyers( at least, according to the naive me).

Academically, I will humbly say I know my worth: with the beyond-basic knowledge of Government, a fair knowledge of the mechanics of politics and the ability read without wearing out, I suppose a lawyer is in the oven, soon to be baked.

However, my very close confidant advised me to drop the dream and seek something viable. My mother who have not had much to do with lawyers and who believe them to be just hungry folks scavenging for cases from one police station to another doesn't think it's a good shot.

Now, I plead we leave sentiments aside. Be critical with your reply and please, let your comments not be made out of prejudice.

What are my chances of making it as a lawyer in today's Nigeria?

PS: You might have better options for me, like migrating to a computer-related course or learn a soft skill. I've gotten much of that . Just kindly answer the question.

Who doesnt know that Igbo men are the most handsome in Nigeria, and even Africa, yet you will never see them brag about their looks. They just let their women have that spot. They are just more secure than the average black man

2) Igbo men are "creatively industrious" Its one thing to be hardworking, its another to be creative about it. If you like throw them into the darkest pit, they will make use of their brains! Because of this culture, Igbo men have successfully closed the wide gap between the rich and the poor in their society. They behave like gods. And operate with a divine mindset. They don't start their families until they are ready!

Can we say Igbo women have shapened the mindset of Igbo men wrongly? Of course not! Its the opposite as everyone can see! In short, If Igbo men can be transparent here, they will give credit to their women for being a major factor in their clamour for success. Imagine if Igbo women were cheap, and parting legs for losers, were would the motivation that has driven Igbo men to the top among their peers come from? They would have been like the average black man: Lazy and purposeless!

Truly the only reason Igbo men have remained this vibrant and productive is because Igbo women demand for vibrant and productive men! If Igbo women should change this demand, the loss of the igbo economy would be great. They have carried themselves in such a way that their men or any man dare not bring less than expected.

I might not be an Igbo girl by tribe but I am one at heart.
I will not criticise Igbo women rather I'll praise them for being smart enough to have a different kind of men

To non Igbo women who think a man calling you "not demanding or entitled" is a compliment, no, you are being cheap! Even shortsighted! My advice, be smart for your own good!

Beauty is a currency and men know that. That's why they demand for good looking women in exchange for their material resources. No man would be happy to part with so much for so little in return.

Could it be that the jealousy of Igbo women by non Igbo women is because they can't measure up and therefore are "humbled" to demand for less from men. Whereas Igbo women knowing what beauty they possess demand for more in exchange? Or am I over thinking.

I have been married with 2 grown up kids for more than 2 and half decades, 2 months ago my wife got in contact with one of her secondary school classmate, someone she has lost contact with since they left school 3 decades ago.

So they started calling each other, though my wife told me about him and sometimes they talked on phone in my presence but later my wife will go to her room to talk with the guy, most times in the night.

This calls always excite my wife that I could hear her laughing and I begin to get jealous and I decided to get to know what they usually talk about.

They later moved to chatting on WhatsApp and will be doing call at night. I noticed my wife started making sure her phone isn't within my reach, making sure she didn't leave her phone carelessly. We both know each others phone password, One day I get access to her phone and I open her whatsapp. I noticed that my wife is flirting with the guy, the guy wil be refering to my wife as his wife but my wife usually won't respond to this,
They were exchanging pictures, and admiring each others pictures.

The guy was proffesing love to my wife but wiffy won't reciprocate to this advances.
Once a while I use to check wiffy's phone for any new development, and I find out wiffy use to send both money and airtime for data to the guy (my wife is into a lucrative business and money isn't her problem).

So one day a friend of mine send me a short porn video which I showed to my wife, she requested me to forward it to her, (I was surprised by this her request because she usually frown at porn), I sent it to her on her Facebook messenger instantly, but I was suspicious of what she wanted to do with the porn video. 2 days later she called me that she wanted to send the video to a female friend of her on WhatsApp but she didn't know how to forward the video from messenger platform to whatsapp.

I now forwarded the porn video to her on WhatsApp because I was curious what she wanted to do with the porn video, lol and behold my wife forwarded the video to this guy with a vulgar comment. I can't imagine my wife using the word 'toto', I have never heard this word from her
I now find out that this guy has earlier sent to my wife a porn video which she later deleted. I was shocked by these discoveries. My wife that frowns at obscene words is now using one in a chat with a man and even exchanging porn with him.

Even some gift items I kept in the house, I discovered my wife gifted them to this guy.
After these discoveries, I confront my wife with the evidence but she find it hard to deny and she said that she didn't know what she was doing with the guy was wrong that she didn't know the implications,
She told me she did not have any sexual contact with the guy and she swear about this, but I find it hard to believe, though I didn't find any evidence of this in their chats,
I am heart broken, this is a woman I trust so much,
Though she begged me and told me she won't have contact with the guy again, but I find it hard to believe.

I plan to throw her out. Is this the best decision?
