Christianity EtcRe: Meditations On The Mysteries Of The Holy Rosary (joyful And Luminous) by Syncan(m): 7:00am On Nov 04, 2013
Here comes Bookmark, the 21st century christian, who has no clue about Christianity outside what the " Awake" magazine says. We can boast of the great works wrought by the Holy Spirit via rosary praying Christians, We can name missions undertaken and heathen countries conquered for God; in line with His command (MK16:14-16). We can show proof that he has continued to be with us, and will... till the end of time (Matt 28:20). We know we have the sacred written traditions; and we know we have the sacred oral traditions (2Thess 2:15), We also know we have the magisterum directive (Acts 15 :6). We keep records, we have still in our sight, the deeds of our fathers in the faith. Our faith is tested, it is about two thousand years old. We love our neighbors, it is visible, with charity we call back the lost to Him, O' and it has worked for about two thousand years. Yet we are called Beelzebub; just like they called our lord, some say we are friends of sinners; Just as they said of the master too. Yet we are consoled, yes we are consoled, for the Lord and Master, Jesus, had foretold all these "If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you". (John 15:20).

Imobus 爱: Firstly i am not the one who wrote all this. As can be seen on page 0 i posted the link so people can read more about it. There is really no need to get over emotional about this nor insulting me will make much difference. If you do not like what i wrote, then ignore this thread. Nobody is forcing Catholics to give up on their believes, was just sharing something i read. I believe that Catholic Church is satanic and Jehovah Witness is an occult(that's another story for another day), that's what i think and am entitled to it.
You sure are entitled to your opinion, however you are expected to form your opinion based on facts. Some people believe that snake evolve from stone, they are also entitled to their opinion. However, when you make it public in this manner, it becomes something else. There is what we call slander, and that is when you make negative allegations against another which is false. I believe before you opened this thread, you never knew about the equilateral triangle as one of the earliest symbols of the Trinity, nor did you know about the crucifix turned upside down and always found on the seat of Peter, as symbol of his own upside down crucifixion. You termed all these demonic based on falsehood and that is slander on the Church. I had earlier made some scripture references, you may want to visit them.

Ubenedictus: You claim catholics teach salvation by works, pls can you provide catholic source that teach salvation by works?
He has nothing of that sort, but I have some references for him:

(Ex 23:1)- You shall not spread a false report. You shall not join hands with a wicked man to be a malicious witness.

(Prov 19:9)- A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who breathes out lies will perish.

(1Pet 2:1-2) - So put away all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander. Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation... to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. ...

( Rev 21:8 ) - But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”

(John 8:44) - You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

The souls to thee so dear

Eternal rest grant them o' Lord; and let perpetual light shine upon them. May they rest in peace, amen.

Today lets have some remarkable quotes, relating to Purgatory, from the scriptures or from the saints and church fathers.

Syncan: ... to ensure the participation of all in this last class, as well as to usher in All saints day, the question will go thus: With the exception of Jesus and Mary, should God decide to give you an hour, with one of our elder sisters or brothers now with him, which will you request for and why?
I shall request an hour with St. Joseph.

I will want to find out how he felt each day at work, knowing that "God and His Mother" depends on his carpentry, for food. Oh I want to hear from him, the things he taught our lord himself. I want to lay my 'day to day' challenges before him, and get first hand info; on how to turn work into prayer, how to hear unmistakably God's voice and clear instructions, how to extirpate all forms of pride and take up the crown of humility and servitude. I will beg him, Oh I will beg him never to leave my side ever, though I will thank him, yes I will thank him, for the many times he has helped me out, for I have found favor many times before our God, when I had called this great saint to help.

Mr. Aladin:
As the month ends today: May you say bye to
every negative happening that happen in
October, and may the Lord shower you with
new blessings this November: may no regrets
or disappointments come your way next
month in the Mighty Name of Jesus. Amen
Amen, Amen. God bless you bro. Yes it is the end of the month...and the series as well. Hence to ensure the participation of all in this last class, as well as to usher in All saints day, the question will go thus: With the exception of Jesus and Mary, should God decide to give you an hour, with one of our elder sisters or brothers now with him, which will you request for and why?
