The next step is for Jonathan to concession the national security of Nigeria to Niger Republic, since he has resigned to fate that the security agencies entrusted with such responsibility are incapable even after the over N1trillion security budget. His unbridled lust for power and alliance with thugs and never-do-well's who are the real cuprits of pipeline vandalism, amnesty offer to BH etc with the sole aim of stampeding all because of his 2015 ambition portrays what a shoeless man can become once he finds himself in a position of authority" omo ojuorolari ti so ara e di olaniyonu"! Now i believe PTB; that GEJ is on a mission to bankrupt and balkanise Nigeria! Yoruba ronu!

The fear of the four attack dogs(Okupe, Abati, Maku and Reno), and the barking puppies(on social media n NL) is the beginning of wisdom. Its best to avoid being bombarded with press briefings, press releases and tweets! No one is allowed to be critical of GEJ's government!

Politics › Re: Amnesty For Boko Haram Is Wickedness - Oritsejafor by takedat(m): 9:23am On Apr 07, 2013
mekaboy: The same northern elders cried until the state of emergency was called off. I am more afraid of the effect of this amnesty in nigeria than what boko haram is doing now.
That is why we need a sovereign national conference and a president who is not a doormat!
Politics › Re: Amnesty For Boko Haram Is Wickedness - Oritsejafor by takedat(m):
Most anti-amnesty advocates are yet to proffer an alternative solution. The president had at a time declared partial State Of Emergency in BH affected states, yet it didn't bring an end to the menace. The JTF were deployed to those states, yet it hasn't abated the senseless killings rather it has fuelled it further. All the strategies employed to tackle BH have failed to achieve the desired result! I believe the proponents of amnesty already know those whom to dialogue with among the BH leaders, and the amnesty offer from the president is just to show the sincerity of government. Any strategy employed to prevent further carnage should be welcomed eventhough it may distasteful. The planned amnesty is wickedness, but the truth is, an unjust peace is better than a just war!

The only alternative to amnesty for now is either to impeach the president and his vice or wait till 2015 to vote in a strong-willed leadership who doesn't care whose ox is gored. The present leadership knows the real kingpins behind BH but are scared to prosecute them instead they have opted for the easy way out which is amnesty!
Politics › Re: Lets Move Beyond Buhari And Co by takedat(m):
At what age is a person considered a youth, cos I know that GEJ whom you omitted his name can't be considered a youth? Agreed that these old politicians must be alienated from the scheme of things as far as reclaiming Nigeria is concerned, but the truth is, it will be an herculean task judging by the realities on ground. The youths have no political structure to advance their aspirations, and these genrotocrats have perfected the skills of poaching those whom they believe are becoming increasingly a threat to their interest and very few can resist the cultic broth. This is the reason why we have a lot who are sell-outs and lapdogs infested with stockholm syndrome. A cursory look at comments on NL would give you a clue of what to expect from Nigerian youths, divided by ethno-religious dichotomy and wrangling over inconsequential matters while the old politicians unite in ethno-religious looting! We can start from somewhere though 2015 is too nearby for any meaningful impact, we have to make do with the best out of the old politicians!

Politics › Re: PDP Warns Tinubu: Steer Clear Of Our Affairs, by takedat(m):
miqos02: The PDP also questioned the democratic credentials of Senator Tinubu, saying, “his dictatorial tendencies and his nepotistic disposition are responsible for the intractable crisis within the ACN.”
The last we heard, it was the PDP that had a failed reconciliation, with crisis in its NWC, NEC. Geopolitical blocs pitted against one another over a single-term gentlemanly pact/zoning policy, with members who have abandoned their mandates in pursuit of their 2015 ambitions. I can't remember reading of any intractable crisis in the ACN. Metuh should tell us another lie!
Politics › Re: PDP Warns Tinubu: Steer Clear Of Our Affairs, by takedat(m): 1:24pm On Apr 06, 2013
Is this not the same Metuh who appealed to journalists to help kill bad stories that concern the party? Is Tinubu responsible for the raging crises in the PDP? Is he the reason why all PDP constituents are mired in mutually assured destructive wars, where the party is pathetically dissolving into interest factions for less dignifying reasons? We all know of Tinubu's dictatorial tendencies but as a politician, he is only cashing in on a tumultuous and divided PDP where there are more Judases than Disciples!

Politics › Re: Conditions Proposed By Northern Elders For Amnesty by takedat(m): 4:41pm On Apr 05, 2013
If truly the northern elders submitted a list of demands to the President *which i doubt*, its not true that the he has approved the demands cos he had just set up a committee to look into possible modalities for granting BH amnesty.

taharqa: What d helll are you talking about?? Govt complicit in d Forging of d document that was designd to damage it? Come on!!!.... Lets try to be fair and truthful in our analysis of issues, and straight forward too instead of trying to divert d crux of d issue with irrelant points. Haba!!
How i have I diverted the crux of the issue? Is it by asking why government hav not taken any lawful action to see that those involved in the forgery are prosecuted? I used the word complicit cos' governments foot dragging on this issue can also deduced to mean it is aware of where the fake document originated from! I suppose you are the one who is not fair in his analysis!
Politics › Re: Salisu Buhari Appointed Into UNN Governing Council by takedat(m):
Why should a "Toronto-famed", disgraced certificate forger be appointed into a university governing council? Recycling of Forgers, fraudsters, thieves and old cargos on University boards will only continue the rot in our university system! GEJ at his inept best!
Politics › Re: Paraded ‘Presidential Directive’ On APC Is False - Abati by takedat(m):
Maxymilliano: It is unfortunate that some media practitioners are taking the liberal democratic atmosphere in the country for granted through a deliberate abuse of press freedom and the publication of false and malicious news items with the intent of causing confusion and ill feelings among the citizenry. This is irresponsible, unprofessional and definitely subversive.” ... Doyin Okupe

The bold part is the key word here, If the President should tow the path of your line of argument, the same media will term such action as 'reminiscence of the dark age of military dictatorship' and 'the re-introduction of despotism in our body politic by the administration'.

In my opinion, there is no need for punitive action/prosecution, the damage will be more felt by Leadership News, than the government, as it clearly exposes the quality of the composition of the editorial board, and putting to question the integrity of great opinion moulders like Sam Nda-Isaiah, Publisher of Leadership Newspapers and Azubuike Ishiekwene, a former Editor and Director of operation at Punch but now Managing Director of Leadership News.
Bro, publishing a fake government document is an act of criminality. Creating a liberal democratic atmosphere does not mean flagrant abuse of press freedom should be overlooked. Apart from taking bold legal action against the management of Leadership to serve as deterrent to others, it is also a must that government be seen as an enforcer of the law cos' forgery/libel is a criminal act except government itself knows where the document originated from!

Dumbo, how is Buhari deceiving Jonathan? Is he a close aide to him or is he responsible for his ineptitude?
Politics › Re: Paraded ‘Presidential Directive’ On APC Is False - Abati by takedat(m): 6:55am On Apr 04, 2013
A media house published a fake presidency document with libellous intent claiming it emanated from the presidency, and all we get is a press release rehashing worn out innuendos with no detail of how government will take appropriate punitive action/prosecution, since forgery/falsification of government document is a crime against the state? What a Bunch of jesters!
Politics › Re: Boko-Haram Is GEJ's Baby - Buhari Fires Back by takedat(m):
The religious BH did not start with GEJ but the political BH did. We have a government that has arrested almost 2000 BH suspects, yet no conviction and the only one that was sentenced bagged a three-year jail term while the heavyweights among them were granted bail. This does not portray a government that is serious about putting an end to the genocidal menace of these insurgents. Leading to the 2011 election, GEJ campaigned on a shoeless-ideology, for 2015 he will employ the ideology of terrorism which will portray him as a besieged leader from the South who is being harassed by terror. He stands to gain a lot from this continual reign of terror than finding a quick solution to it! After all, Late Gen Azazi told Nigerians BH is the do or die/terrorism wing of PDP!

Goddex: Can you listen to yourself? Lol, fools like you still have hangover of
military mentality by talking about "clampdown on the media house"

For your information, GEJ will not do that.
He granted us freedom of information bill, that is why bingos like you
can open it wide to talk rubbish. It's your mouth, talk! You can even use it to eat my poo . . .
Another trash talking tool! You must be dumb if you think the FOI allows for media houses to falsify government document. No wonder people have no regard for the occupier of the presidency!
Politics › Re: Outrage Trails Presidential Directive On Tinubu, APC by takedat(m):
drnoel: are u really asking this question? Did they not raise two front political parties with APC acronym. Guy are u new to the murky waters of Nigerian politics. Yes, I strongly believe people will go to any terms to fraustrate the govenment of GEJ. Am sure u believe that too, u are just playing dumb. Besides look at the plain paper it was written on, no government stationary to depict clearly from where it originated. Its fake.
I am sure you do not have comprehension problems. Forgery/ document falsification is a crime against the state, one would have expected arrests and clampdown on the media house by the security agencies now, if truly the document purported to have emanated from the presidency is fake. Remember that we are not talking of a blog or an online news outlet with no reputation to protect. This government is hopeless if it can condone such criminality except the government itself is guilty!

Lawal Kaita- "The North is determined if it happens, to make Nigeria 'ungovernable' for President Jonathan or any other Southerner who finds his way to the seat of power on the platform of the PDP against the principle of the party's zoning policy. ANYTHING short of a northern president is tantamount to stealing our presidency. Jonathan has to go and he will go. Even of he uses incumbency power to get his nomination on the platform of the PDP, he will be 'frustrated' out."
