Another charade in this dilapidated theatre called Nigeria where impunity reigneth supreme. The arm empowered to make laws do not understand the usage of the law, and the judiciary is another cesspool of shiit! If a criminal can easily execute dastardly scheme against pensioners who have laboured hard and get away with it, I see no reason why corruption shouldn't be made legal so that there will be no monopoly on corruption where everyone can have a level playing field in the acquisition of extra-legal wealth.

I thought Akpabio recently said the Judases are in PDP?

The same folks who has turned Atiku into an overnight hero and an apostle of truth, will be the first to attack and castigate Atiku if he calls GEJ a betrayer for reneging on his single term agreement. Army of hypocrites and no-gooders!

dougivilla: Are you also not aware that his 'party' was against his accepting that assignment, because they said they prefered to play purely opposition politics? Was forming a gov't of national unity not a national responsibility too?
Forming a national unity government is not a national responsibility because we operate a winner-take-all, take-no-prisoner style of politics. What became of APP(led by Ume Ezeoke) when they agreed to join the national unity government of PDP? Didn't the PDP led government later rubbished the Ribadu report, even after he went against the earlier warnings of his party?

dougivilla: Ribadu does'nt have to say anything. Have u seen him hobnobbing with these ACN betrayers after the 2011 elections?Ribadu accepted the assignment on Oil subsidy the PDP led gov't, against the public opposition of ACN, who had also distanced themselves from the Government of National Unity, proposed by GEJ, why? To pay back ACN in their own betrayal coin! Thats the silent treatment!
Accepting the job of Petroleum Revenue Special Task
Force is a national assignment, and what was the fate that befell him when he accepted the job? He still hobnobs with the chieftains of ACN based on this reports:

Politics › Re: Tinubu Is A Betrayer - Atiku by takedat(m):
Isn't this a baseless accusation cos Tinubu was the only AC governor as at 2007, and Atiku the presidential flagbearer of AC won in Lagos state during the presidential election whereas Atiku could not win his own state? Ribadu on the other hand has never complained of being dumped cos he still remains a member of ACN unlike Atiku who left immediately after losing election! He is a confused fellow looking for whom to buck pass the reason behind his incessant failures.

NNPC is a thievery corporation and cesspool of corruption. The NASS should give the PIB an expeditious passage, so that NNPC can be unbundled for some bold investors to take control from the amateur technocrats and economic saboteurs currently running the place with irregularities and unwholesome practises.

According to nailand eeerr... apologists, the application cannot be corrected because they don't want it to be. Please can one of you functional illiterates show me where in the governing legislation it says that if your application is deficient in one aspect it cannot be corrected, or is it that we now make laws here n Nairaland according to who we like or don't like.
You can as well go to court on their behalf since you are more learned in the extant laws of the land, especially the electoral act(as amended) than those in the legal division of INEC. Muddleheaded ignoramus!

israel007: Read my post again. It's an innocent and sincere person stating his opinion.
I believe you, but the notion that a candidate can be separate entity from his or her party is a fallacy. Can a Fashola be seperated from the Tinubu controlled ACN or GEJ from a PDP made of Anenih, Bode George and the other Judases and Sadducees? The party members and the political party itself are as important as the candidate. The lyrics and rhythm of a song are both important!

2015 presidency I prefer It goes to East than any part in Nigeria. I'm a yoruba but there is one truth that has not be revealed about Nigeria since it was created and it is only eastern man that can reveal this. That's why people who knows this truth are preventing them to reach there. Believe this or not but is true.

coogar: shut up your mouth, mr ribadu!
you are a fool - you were used by obasanjo to hound his political enemies. what right have you got to call someone else out. what about all the money you go from recovering the posessions of corrupt politicians when you sold their properties to known cronies? stûpid idiotic hausa man. it's only a country like nigeria where we celebrate mediocrity that a soulless lout like you can even open your mouth to speak. it shall not be well with you and the coming generations after you.
Sir, this rant is needless. Yes, EFCC under the watch of Ribadu was used in hounding perceived political enemies of OBJ but we still witnessed the conviction of some heavyweight figures unlike what we have now where EFCC is neutered. Political office holders were also cautious during his time. I guess you should rather blame OBJ for the unnecessary interference, and the lawmakers who enacted the EFCC Act that has made the EFCC toothless and gum-less! Farida was sacked because she turned EFCC into a bribe-collection outfit! The executive(AGF) should be held responsible for loot recovery. Very few can resist a bribe of N1billion which was offered to Ribadu by Ibori. The guy isn't perfect but at least cut him some slacks!

This comment is bereft of any moral sense, and disgraceful. Even if such impunity abound, must Nigerians keep quite because a megalomaniac is the governor? Our leaders engage in wrong behaviour simply because they can always get away with it (and followers are willing to collude and make exceptions like "its ok because he/she is the leader"wink. That is why we keep having these motley crew of crooks and ballot robbers as leaders! *smh*

Morgan1092: The group asked one lawyer to write INEC saying they wanted to form a political party with a particular name and they wanted to know the rules and procedures for registration as a political party.
“If this other group has done so, we would have replied them and tell them the rules and the procedures they are supposed to follow to be registered. So, the issue of whether we have collected the name of this other group and whether we have agreed to register them doesnot even arise because we just replied to their letter by telling them the procedure.

“We have rules and guidelines for all this and we are determined to follow the rules to avoid any confusion. But we have not reached a stage where we can say a group has been registered with so, so name. So all thesenoise is just part of our politics in Nigeria”.
http://www.vanguardngr.com/2013/03/jega-opens-up-on-controversy-inec-has-not-registered-any-apc/
Here the Chairman of INEC stated that INEC just replied the other APC(African People's Congress) letter of intent by explaining to them the procedure for registration. During the official unveiling of APC(African People's Congress), they showed a receipt of N1million paid as administrative fee to INEC for registration. They also showed a form PA1 which they ought not to have supposing we want to believe Jega that INEC just/recently replied their letter of intent explaining the registration procedure to them. Its either Jega is lying or there are saboteurs inside INEC working for the party. I believe the movers of the African People's Congress should be questioned on how they were able to pay for the administrative fee and their claim that they have completed all the necessary requirement even before INEC was able to acknowledge their letter of intent! www.thisdaylive.com/articles/leadership-of-controversial-african-peoples-congress-steps-forward/142249/

The parties merging into All Progressive Congress(APC) should hurriedly hold their respective conventions if truly they want to merge, or else they will continue to fall for the b0oby traps and landmines planted by PDP!

emmydeep: Why cant some people like you use their brain? Would you prefer those Governors, speaker and national assembly members that donates millions of naira to BOKO HARAM from the monthly allocation derived from the southern nigeria?
If you dont knw what is happening in naija pls, ask others.
It is you who needs another brain to make half-wit. There are a lot of christian and muslim casualties on the receiving end of Boko haram's menace, so if some governors decided to donate in order to rehabilitate those affected isn't it a good cause than to give N6million to some sleazy party chiefs for refreshment? So many dunderheads in Nigeria!
