Maxymilliano: I can see that Abati hits some raw nerve with his epistle and nice to read some clarification by FFK. But in the midst of the hubris, he fail to clarify how 19.5billion aviation intervention fund was judiciously squandered or appropriated by him and his predecessor, which necessitated a thick case files against him and Aborishade by EFCC, after all, the case was not instituted during GEJ's ascension to the presidency or should I ignore that too?Nice one. Hope the court sees to it that he answers for the N19billion intervention fund while those in this government should also prepare themselves to account for how the N300billion Aviation intervention fund was misapplied and how most were diverted into private coffers. On the $67billion, we are still waiting for the public debate. That is the only way to clear our doubts. This is the Era of Accountability. Lol! |
FFK is not different from Abati, they both belong in the class of pathological lying tools, engaged to hoodwink the masses. The yesterday's thieves turned latter day saints and the today's thieves claiming exceptional holiness are not our redeemer. I sincerely hope that the yesterday's men and today's men will not be among those that will be called tomorrow's men. Thank God for the expose from Abati and FFK, we can't continue to have hypocritical and delusional characters ruling us! |
Maxymilliano: Here we go again... Governments all over the world retain the service of PR experts and consultants, both local and foreign, to help shore up government image both within and outside the country.Vintage Max! My disagreement with these exclusive interviews with foreign media houses is, how many Nigerians are opportuned to watch these tv stations? Is the government contented with only how others view it and not Nigerians perception to governance? Why has he refused to grant such interviews with our local stations? |
Shaftrod: @take that. I think something is fatally wrong with your thinking faculty or you having brain issues.See me see wahala o. What have I done wrong? Abeg O! |
Maxymilliano: Whatever you like you say, the person my post was meant for knows how he went about resurrecting the topic and posting the links on another thread just to be seeing as making a point.Gentlemanly response! |
Its funny though, the President is yet to grant an exclusive interview to any of our Tv and radio stations. He prolly craves for international appeal hence he wants foreign countries to help solve Nigeria's problems. Its symptomatic of one lacking in self esteem! |
Obama is ACN, Cameron CPC and rich Bill Gate, a member of the cabal who are hell bent on embarrassing the good government of GEJ with their imperialist motivations by demanding transparency and accountability from the highly performing GEJ's government. Lol! |

redsun: The worst crime of nigerian political monsters like obj is that they have the guts to blame others. They are too shameless to see that they themselves are filths.Just like atiku suggesting measures on how to tackle corruption, when he is an epitome of untouchable corrupt element.Do we need an angel much less an Abati to tell us OBJ was corrupt during his time as president? And whose responsibility is it to bring these thieves to book, if not the government? Isn't it folly of Abati to accuse people of corruption, yet the government he works for have not been able to table damning evidence to nail them? How do you expect these yesterday's men to keep quiet when its obvious to them that this government is spineless, to the extent of accusing the present government of aiding corruption. This government is also breeding a new class of looters in the likes of Adoke, Orubebe, Worgu, Diezani, Bala et al. These individuals will also be in the forefront of accusing the next government after this of corruption. They all belong in the cycle of failed and irresponsible political class! This government's progression is backward. |
The same prayers PDP have been saying for the past 13years that has kept us in this dysfunctional state. Nigerians should take heart, a PDP prayer is a curse in disguise. Hope the boys play to their best though! |
OAM4J: How would posterity remember Reuben? I guess: A man who voluntarily set fire to everything he ever wrote. Shame! - Dele MomoduDon't mind the fool, he thinks he can insult our sensibilities. Even if we agree that those he is accusing were part of those who left us in this abysmal state, does it then stop the call for accountability in GEJ's government? If those men were found wanting during the time they held sway, why hasn't Jona's government brought them to book? Abati is petty and unstable! |
A turncoat with a tarnished and tattered conscience has no moral authority to accuse others of hypocrisy. Is he(Abati) not fraternising now with those he accused in the past? Do Nigerians need the likes of Oby, El-Rufai and others before knowing that the Jonathan government overpaid cronies to the tune of N2trillion in fuel subsidies? Do we need someone to call our attention to the mismanagement and thievery in GEJ's government? Abati's days are numbered, before he returns to the fold of those he accused in this article as yesterday's men. When its time to take total control of Nigeria, those he accused, himself and other self-serving bandits that have enslaved Nigerians will be dealt with! |
donchris369: Brother! Thank you and may God bless you plentiful. I know we igbos are wiser, it is only those that sell their to.to that will want to sell us out, but we shall castrate them. Rubbish!Be a gentleman for once and leave the lady out of your agenda, it isn't a must she falls into your line of reasoning. Your comments portray you as ill-mannered, must you slander her because of her conviction? Its either you are a poo-prudder or a jerk. Quit being a fuckwit abeg! |
i am so used to your type - very if i will ur word "inept" and blind in knowledge . i rather u sober up and learn!!!!! it will do u alot of good. You probably are with the failing opposition who knows nothing about governance save fancy speeches and all
Abati-like mentality, anyone who criticises government on her lacklustre fight against graft must be of the opposition. Quit being an ignorant fool! |
No, you are the dumb fellow and a bucket full!! In your quest to be vocal in your merry cries and name calling to governance you left out a lot of things A lot of cases have been thrown out by the courts for want of evidence and EFCC officers had to work hard on this. We have backlog of cases against ex governors and they wouldn't want this to go that way They don't have enough lawyers to represent these cases as their budgets are stretched in playing these lawyers(in your town crying mode u forgot to cry out when national assembly reduced EFCC budget) Judges to hear the cases too( they are humans, they could be on leave or study or listening to a million other cases) I think this government is based on rule of law and non interference in other depts Don't be taken by the various actors who are of the gallery Try to seat on the fence and grow up
Here comes another half-wit. Are you so quick to jump to the defence of your brother, meanwhile you are intellectually inept to comprehend what my post was all about. The biggest problem of these anti graft agencies; EFCC, ICPC and the Judiciary stems from Political Interference and lack of Political Will from the executive. You guys should stop trying to shift every blame to the Judiciary and legislature. We know this is more of a charade, SSS acted in the sting operation, police investigated and now ICPP prosecuting. Why didn't the police carry on with the prosecution since it investigated the case. Another attempt to bungle up the all thing. You aint fooling no one! |
thelastPope: Though am a bit unhappy that it took investigators this long to wrap up this case, I am happy it is finally coming to the front burner. The most important thing about these cases is that they be seen to a logical conclusion. Whether we like it or not, the mentality and awareness in Nigeria is changing and people are being charged to court and the cases processed conclusively for once in our history. As much as all of us are not happy about the pension boss sentence, the fact that he was actually convicted it a great step to celebrate. It is a sign we have started the journey and we can all keep the the pressure on and keep getting it right. Now the new push is that the sentences must be bigger and tougher. Before, it was that people should be prosecuted. Thats some progress and eventually we will keep pushing the bar till we get there.Wow! You're dumb and a half. Rather than commend Keyamo who brazenly challenged the government on why they have failed to prosecute Lawan and took it upon itself to individually do that, before this weak and spineless government realised her game was up. You were busy showering accolades and fawning on GEJ, while castigating the legislature and judiciary. |
Bunch of freaking 'tards in Nigeria's political class. So many decent and qualified ladies are out there seeking for jobs and honest living with no assistance from government, these morafukas are busy looking for LovePeddlers to rehabilitate as if prostitution can ever be stopped. They should expect an unprecedented migration of sex workers from every part of the country to Abuja, and Also remember to budget extra N10billion for Runs girls too. Dumbos! 2015 should mark the End of an Error in Nigeria, provided Nigerians are ready for change! |
Cameron said Nigeria earned over $100billion from oil export last year. NEITI gave its own figure of $143billion for two years with little or no impact on Nigerians well-being to justify such huge revenue! Jonathan's government has borrowed N2.57trillion in just two years. There is also the controversial $65billion external reserves. GEJ will bankrupt this nation, his government not only encourages Corruption, he(GEJ) gleefully directs and supervises it! |

The President has set-up a Task Force comprising of Okupe, Abati and Maku to give a report on how Nigerians can be convinced on the need to build a Mission House for the First Lady, because Patience Jonathan is the only first lady that bears the title of Dame ahead of her names! |
Thou shalt not cry of starvation nor scream genocide when the chickens come home to roost!(Reader discretion is advised) |
aurenflani: With all these hawkish biitchery posts of yours, his response is both intelligent and mature compared to your myopic gabbages.Abeg pay her no mind, let her continue ranting with her shrivelled fingers. She is one stupi.d schizo biitch! |
If a corruption personified Atiku start making calls for stiffer anti-corruption laws, then there is something amiss. Well, even if stricter laws are made in Nigeria, some will always be above the law! |
if t ar conversant wt twiter u wld hv knwn dat most pple write it on their profile page dat retweet is nt endorsment. Luckily elrufai also wrote same. My advice to u is go nd learn more abt diff social media.
Thank you bro, some of us are simply looking for whom to pour our anger on. CAN is trying to help government to distract our attention from Oby's demand for accountability by creating division using religious card! |
pro01: When a black man calls a fellow black man 'Nigger', is it the same thing as when a white man calls a black man 'Nigger? Let's not kid ourselves over this issue abeg. The fact remains that El Rufai, being a Muslim and a public figure, was extremely silly to have tweeted or retweeted that comment. No Christian in his position would try that without colossal consequences for himself and other innocent Christians. We all know that, unless we want to deceive ourselves. The hypocrisy of a black man calling a black man nigger while it is derogatory for a white man to call a black man nigger has no root in Christianity. We have to chide the origin of a problem before casting aspersions on others! Should we recompense evil with evil? Christianity teaches us to be forbearing and forgiving and in as much as he had apologised the matter dies automatically! Quit this abeg, you aint the only christian here. Many christians in positions of authority have desecrated what christ stood for and we haven't condemned them! So much for our hypocritical self righteousness! |
CAN should not deceive anyone that it is protecting the interest of christians because they have never for once condemned our bad leaders and their corrupt ways which has impoverished many christians. A religious organisation that has become a tool for politicians can't be taken seriously |
Is CAN trying to tell us that when a fellow christian makes a mockery of Christianity, nothing should be done about it but if someone from another religion laughs at the comment such a person should be condemned. cos the guy who tweeted El-Rufai's retweet is a christian. CAN is using religious intolerance to condemn religious intolerance! |
El-Rufai deserves all the back lashing even though the intent of the retweet 'may' not be to desecrate Christ, but he should have taken into cognisance that we dwell in a Nation of religious intolerance with a lot of sanctimonious hypocrites, immoral religious leaders and zealots on both sides. Hope CAN will also learn to publicly denounce and ridicule our leaders for the bad governance and corruption bedevilling this nation and not serving as a religious organisation who crowns thieves called rulers! |
Maxymilliano: This is where the real problem lies, and the bane of corruption in the country. Many people unaware of this would rather hurl insult and unprovoked imprecation in the way of the President or the Judge as the case may here be without bordering to understand some of the underlining factors guiding court decision sometimes.Nice, I concur! |

Oby should remain resolute, most Nigerians are now aware of government's antics and no amount of task force made up of compulsive liars and lightfingered bandits will distract us from seeking full disclosure and accountability of government's revenue! |
Nigeria is a true depiction of the Animal Farm, where there is no hope for the mango people in a banana republic. Equality before the law is a myth created by our political rulers and lawyers to give cold comfort to the common man, so that they(political rulers) can have a peace of mind. As long as the judiciary continues to suffer from political interference, corruption and inefficiency remaining a problem, and different extant laws for different classes of people, there will never be a hope for the common man! |
