If GEJ's argument is that state police would be abused, then we should also scrap the federal abuse because Nigerians have seen cases whereby the federal police has been used to harass, humiliate and witch hunt some perceived enemies of people in position of power. The federal police is the most corrupt worldwide. Please what is good for the sauce is also good for the gander.
There are only two visible ANTI-GEJ groups in this country, the BORN-TO-RULE HAUSA-FULANIs and their ever loyal YORUBA SLAVEs.
Note that the problems being faced by GEJ today were created by OBJ, IBB, BUHARI, ABACHA,GOWON et al.
*BOKO HARAM*
The northerners has held power for over 30yrs in this country yet they couldnt develop the north and demonically accuse GEJ today of neglect which they claim gave birth to BOKO HARAM.
*LAGOS-ORE-BENIN*
OBJ was in power for 8yrs and didnt give a damn about this road(a bloody yoruba man), yet its among the roads jonathan is being judged wif.
*POWER*
OBJ spent $16b on power and we all know the rest story
*PETROLEUM*
OBJ doubled as the president and petroleum minister, and dat was when the cabals got strongest. we all know the efforts GEJ is making to turn that tide.

The HAUSA-FULANI Lepas has no right to criticize any government of today cause its their sons that wrecked the HAVOC in this country.
While YORUBAs might be permitted to run their large smelly slave mouths as its the major trait they are known with world over.
As for me, anything GEJ does or say goes cause it can never rival d damages done to this country by above mentioned rogue generals.
Any bast.ard dat stil beliv otherwise should shove his or her head up their ar.ses and see if it fits.
To those who want GEJ to quit. Go tell ur moms to quit fvcking your dads first and try out ur neighbour's bigger DIKCs.
Fvck the BAR JESUS! cool
You are such a disgusting and dishonorable fella with this post of yours.Does Obama have anything to do with the economic melt down USA is passing through? No. But every American is looking up to him for solutions and lately Romney has been using that as a tool to campaign against him.It is only normal for people to look up to govt and criticize when they are yet to see results but perverted bigots like you who hate others view cos there are expressing thier thots dont know that.We might all be hurling insults on former leaders which is normal but you dont like it when they do the same for your principal.dont forget that some of these past leaders built refineries, constructed roads, built power plants, built universities etc but Nigerians demand more that is why we all condemn them.Pls quite acting a fool and grow up.

dedeike: @cooldun,

I tried so hard to read through your gibberish without a single paragraph. But I could see you have a problem with the trio of Diezani, Okonjo and SANUSI.
My question is, what wrong has these fellows done to you?

Diezani is safely coming across as the Best Petroluem minister ever. A lot has happened in the Petroluem sector under her watch.
She is the first woman who had the courage to confront the cabal and sought to close the window of corruption called subsidy, which has turned both politicians and civil servants alike to billionaires in Nigeria.
It was her policy directive that we need to start full deregulation by removing rsubsidy immediately. Unfortunately, the same cabal mobilised labour to confuse issues and retain subsidy. A time will come in the history of our great country when we will regret to have ever opposed that move.

Not done, she invited Ribadu to oversee govt revenue in the oil sector. She also opened up the sector to probe by AIG IMOUKHEDE.
Today, AIG has submitted his reports against all odds. Govt is now implementing the report and sanctioning erring marketers thus leading to protests and strikes.

For the first time in the history of this country, we have seen influential people in the country being charged to court for subsidy fraud.

We are seeing oil marketers refund stolen oil money.
We are seeing a govt insist on punishing oil markerters who were indicted for major infractions in the subsidy regime.
Diezani is undertaking the refurbishment of Refineries and some will be due by November. She has also entered into PPP with VULCAN ENERGY for construction of new refineries.
Diezani braced the odds to formulate the new comprehensive PIB which is acclaimed by all to be the much needed legislation for the overhaul of the oil sector.

Under her watch, we have hit the highest record of 2.7MBPD in oil production.
Under her watch, she has executed the gas to power plan which is meant to supply gas to the newly refurbished power stations.
If it was in other clime,Diezani would have been kicked out of office cecos the massive fraud involved in the PSF scheme was under her watch. How many govt officials in NNPC,DPR and PPPRA have been sacked except for the former GMD and two exec directors who were meant to finish thier term the same month they were removed. You claimed she set up the AIG commitee but that was Okonjos, the Ribadu commitee she did set up is yet to submit its findings till now.You ascribed increase in crude oil production to her but we all know its becos of the amnesty granted to militants by Yaradua and NNPC under her watch has been paying outrageous money to them Asari and co without any meaningful development in the ND.Crude oil theft is there rampaging our economy.Mind you we have witnessed high profile prosecution of former governors, ministers etc so those of some spoilt brat kids of politician is nothing

onlynaija: Who has right to insult the President? None. Its a pity that some people put more curses on themselves and generations to come if Jesus tarries, ignorantly by abusing Gods anointed. The best thing that we can do for them is that God will give them right wisdom and judgements to do right always and also he should create an online forum in different fields where government policies can be discussed and voted for by verified experts before been sent for approval for implementation. No citizen and major religion supports willful abuse of authority. Mr. President Jonathan, you will succeed. If 51% of Nigerians prays and blessings our true leaders, we shall se greater than transformation. God bless my pilgrim country Nigeria in Jesus name, amen. JESUS IS AT HAND AND COMING SOON. All most be ready with peace and holiness.
Is GEJ complaining abi why you dey take panadol for hin headache. If you feel the pain Nigerians are going through hence you will keep your mouth shut.No room for yeye mediocrity

i repeat to your listening ear that Yar Adua abandoned most of OBJ salient initiatives for reasons best known to him . .and in the Nigerian democratic settings, the President solely calls the shot . .

GEJ should and must be commended for taking it upon himself to see to the completion of those abandoned NIPPs, and also initiating the rejuvenation of our dilapidated existing power plants

No one is pulling anyone down except saying it the way it is and the way it should be

Am sure your one of those blatant hypocritical species, who will equally shower galatic, praise worship sessions on Fashola, for improving upon already existent structures and master plans

Do better next time please

justwise: I totally understand the picture you just painted, but you just have to understand that there are people who will refused to learn and preferred taking the opposite view, religiously speaking...you do not give up on that person neither will you force your view on that person, your behaviors towards that person 'might' change his stand on certain things.

You can only maintain what is right in the eyes of the God you worship and leave the rest for him.
Indoctrination is not an easy battle to win cos once your mind is fixed on something and you believe its the right course,it becomes difficult for others to change you.A good example are Nigerian politicians no matter how well you preach to them they will hardly desist from corrupt practises.Such is the case with these terrorists who believe that 99percent of the muslim world is not practicing the true Islam and would make you feel that their belief is the best.Blind adherance and false ideology breeds terrorism not Islam

Dollarman101: Bros, Na u call am terrorists. What is on paper is that Global West Vessel Specialist Agency has been contracted to safeguard our waterways.
And it is yielding results. From 1.8 Mbpd to 2.7mbpd. No attacks on pipelines. No shutting down of SHELL or CHEVRON flow stations or facility.
We re meeting our OPEC quota. The oil market is booming. Revenue dey accrue. That's what's up.
And we still experience massive crude oil theft. It shows that there are indeed safeguarding our waterways,no wonder GEJ was confused over this matter during his last media chat after squandering billions on crooks

jmaine: Dont you think this line of yours is very stale and lacking content . . .

1) OBJ started something that was poorly implemented cos the power projects were bereft of means to supply their gas powered turbines . .

2) These poorly implemented projects were abandoned for 3 solid years during the late Yar Adua regime . . .

3) GEJ came in to re-activate these poorly planned and abandoned projects . .he also ensured their master plan was retweaked to ensure adequate, appropriate and prompt supply of needed gas meant for them . .

They also delivered on that gas - supply timeline which is the sole reason our power generation has increased to our all time high and the main reason for the much acknowledged improved supply

Hopefully by the end of this year, when the on coming NIPPs are expected to be commisioned . .I just hope you will applaud them than engage in needless criticism
You must think we are all fools to believe you.Eventhough we all agreed that OBJ mis managed funds meant for power project but we also know that his govt conceptualized almost all existing projects. In your bid to give GEJ all the credits, you claimed Yaradua did nothing for 3yrs when we knew that GEJ was part of the team n they were working towards 6000mw though till this day it still remain unrealistic.Power gen, tranms and distribution is a gradual and continuous thing even GEJ attested to that lately that before Nigerians can rejoice it will be around 2020.So please dont pull others down just because you want to paint GEJ as the messiah he did not start from ground Zero he also met some on going projects and existing structures.

it is pertinent to note that most hard core critics of GEJ do not hate him as a person.Nigerians have been docile for a long time without having a say in the affairs of their country, hence they vent their frustrations on the President they collectively voted for. This is no time for half measures or sycophancy afterall previous govt had all claimed to have embark on series of projects with nothing to show for it.Personally i refuse to be carried away with sentiments and promises,i want to see action and results

you must be a silly person for insulting millions of Nigerian who thronged all out to vote for GEJ.So it is now a crime to critize his govt(either constructively or otherwise). It is now that majority of those that voted for him but due to his uncoordinated lapses have turned against him inorder for him to get his acts right are fools.

BENZINA: Either you are being short of information or just want to hide the truth. To answer your questions(1)The dialogue between the Govt and Boko Haram is 90% complete.(2)The Cabals are all almost exposed, you can find their names in almost all of the dailies, the stolen money is 75% recovered, the Govt shall soon come out with the total figure.(3)On Bakassi, the govt said the UNITY of NIGERIA is non-negotiable,i guess you know what that means.
are you privy to the discussions between boko haram and govt to know if there is a truce.its people like you with paucity of knowledge who believe that government is tackling corruption in the PSF scheme when majority of those who stole the subsidy monies are government officials ie NNPC,PPPRA,DPR,budget office, customs, office of accountant general etc that are all part of the rot still retain thier offices
Lol at two faced, hypocritical, double edge tongued, lying and stinking yorubas taking shots at Igbos grin. You people should really understand that Igbos are so much above you in anything humanly possible be it intelligence, smartness, academics, ingenuity, complexity and the list goes on. Igbos do not and would never see you bunch of tiger-claw faced, poo flinging and ugly disfigured boons as competition so let it rest.

Lol again at touting their fake, stinking and hypocritical respect that they exercise for show but wouldn't hesitate to massacre themselves and their so called elders they claim to respect every time the opportunity presents itself (see their recurrent butchering of themselves at the motorparks in ibadan and the rest of the caves they live in)

You ain't fooling no one with your hypocrisy when we know what transpires when no eyes are watching your clownish display called respect. Serial child molesters, wife mutilators, incest-inclined and just plain horrible people all round with their hideous faces and god forsaken body and mouth stench.

Talk about being cursed again, i challenge you to look around and tell me that any of you baboons can match an Igbo man in any way possible, even the least educated ones, lol.

Occupy yourselves rather with acquiring fake academic certificates and spending your last kobo to buy fake asoke to party with while still drenched in abject poverty. People with no future plans for themselves who only live for the moment.

Don't worry about the loser who beats up his mom but your pathetic selves because we Igbos still know what genuine love for parents is and we prove it to them often. Just visit Igboland and see what Igbo sons erect for their parents on yearly basis then you would realise that there is a reason why very few Igbos would pay mind to the loser in the OP.

Yorubas, repulsive set of inbreeding retards who call themselves sophisticated while every other person around them could only see loud and highly offensive fools.
you are a hopeless, vile and peevish person.while trying to dignify your tribe as against another you just made a mess of yourself.get a life scoundrel

Abati is the chief saboteur of GEJ's govt always turning Nigerians against his boss.An average Nigerian is less concerned who GEJ has in his cabinet, whether GEJ is a drunk or not,and if his choice of food is fish pepper soup and cassava bread there are millions of Nigerian who cannot afford a tin of cassava flakes(garri).Abati should know that no one need words when actions can do all the talking. We are only interested in PERFORMANCE and not all these useless tales by moonlight

am amazed with all this igbo internet trolls new zeal for biafranism.this same ojukwu while alive founded a political party(APGA) and contested for presidency, how many igbos voted for him rather they sold thier souls to PDP.APGA couldnt even win all the south eastern states.it shows that igbos themselves have little or no respect for the man ojukwu.rather than galvanize themselves to have a united front, hypocrites like them would ascribe all their downfall to the yorubas.the earlier you wake up from your hallucinations.

there is a big cooking pot that the yorubas call agbari ojukwu.ojukwus head is too big to have it on the 5000naira

Spidyy: Yes it will be meaningless and disrespectful because the Late Dim Ojukwu (R.I.P) fought for Biafra, he fought for the Igbo people (Biafrans) not "Nigerians" thus putting his face on that 5000 naira note will definately not be acceptable we don't want his face on any Nigerian currency but we want Biafra and his face on all notes if possible.
20 naira and 10 coins? All I can do is Hahahahahaha. Oh well atleast it will be better than that condom wrap thing called 20 naira and 10 naira notes.

Yourbas still haven't answered my question: Major Gen.Aguiyi Ironsi was exectued in a merciless coup along side Lt conel Fajuyi now let's not forget the hausas staged a counter coup because corrupt Ahmahdu Bello and Tafawa belewa were killed and not because of the interest of the first republic. WHAT DID THE YORUBAS DO? ANS: Nothing!

Gown took over forcefully when Bridagier Ogundikpe was meant to take over WHAT DID THE YORUBAS DO? Ans: Betray the Igbo people (Awolowo). WHAT DID THE IGBOS DO? Ans: Fight! Just a question.
valor, honor and respect are common traits among the yorubas, so what lt.col fajuyi did was an heroic act.it will be unwise for the yorubas to carry arms and join the igbos when it was obvious that the jan 1966 coup was an igbo agenda hence the justified pogrom against them in June. Remember that the jan coup plotters murdered other top ranking yoruba officers eg shodeinde and co.since the jan coup was perpetuated by officers of igbo extraction and power was handed over to ironsi an igbo,it will be normal for hausa coup plotters to hand power to an hausa man.nevertheless ojukwu and ogundipe are both abdicators
