daddytime:Well, the guy probably has a Nigerian passport too and could have jetted out to Nigeria to "relax" after committing the crime. Many do so. ![]() |
germanized:Even perfume which is usually given as a gift will finish one day, although the food gift will finish more quickly. ![]() |
Cleaners or people who do menial jobs are hardly recognised in the workplace. I don't know the context of her giving him this gift but perhaps the guy acknowledges the lady and others like her and she appreciated that. So, it could be her own way of saying thanks to him. As someone said, it is widows mite and so I don't think the gift should be despised. |
vicdom:This got me cracking! ![]() |
She looks so conscious of herself. Imagine the pressure and stress that exerts on oneself. ![]() |
Did he declare this billion(s) in his asset declaration when he became Governor? Its very likely he is worth billions now from Government funds and he is now saying he was a billionaire. |
miky:I agree he was probably disgusted at her coming to a white man’s country to be a beggar. He did have a bit of looking down on Africans attitude though. He should by now be knowledgable about why Africans tend to look for every opportunity to go to developed countries as he clearly mentioned that Africans go to europe, Canada and America, but he still choose to demean her. I clearly don’t condone her nonsense but the guy had an agenda. The western narrative that Africans are beggars and paupers is not going to change in our generation, not especially with all the nonsense going on with many African rulers. |
miky:I agree he was probably disgusted but what would he say to black Americans that beg on the streets of America? He should by now be more knowledgeable about Africa and why many Africans seize any opportunity to travel out. The perception about Africans being beggars and paupers is not going to change in our generation. It would take a lot to change it. |
The guy that interviewed her is black. Didn’t you see his hands? That is why she was calling him brother and he said I am not your brother, I am an American. He is most definitely a black American and it’s no secret that they don’t like black Africans. The lady is clearly disgracing Nigeria but it is what the people in government past and present have turned Nigerians into. |
Wizywiz:Start with Alliance Francaise in old GRA for French. |
Firstly, someone would have applied for a US visa on his behalf and flown with him to the US because he was 13 when he arrived. Who did he live with after arriving? He seems to me to now be like a DACA child but his complication is that he is still from a developed country and they wont see any reason not to return him. He is clearly all Americanised now. Could it even be that he does not know his papers were not regularised? The guy has most certainly not travelled abroad for any show and may also have an expired UK passport. Nobody would have asked him for his papers as its the entertainment industry where he is an entertainer and whereas, who would have though that he was not American with all the accent and the hood life stories. |
The difference between the 64-page 5 years passport and the 64-page 10 years passport is just the expiry date. How come it costs 35k more ![]() |
Que Dios te bendiga, niño. |
Unfortunately it is not the same Government that fails to build schools that will build the prisons. it will be another Government that will inherit the problem. I even doubt that they will end up building the prisons as they will rather embezzle the money. |
I’m offering to teach Cuppy how to cook. ![]() |
JusticeSeeker:There’s no requirement that Nigerian embassy should know about his visit. Most Nigerian officials inform the embassy because they want the embassy to provide services like driver/car, guest house etc. Atiku doesn’t need all that and whereas informing the embassy headed by someone likely appointed by APC automatically gives away the surprise element of his trip. |
Why does it have no front grill?..... because it has no engine! ![]() Front and back are boots. |
Confirmed. He is like Usher! ![]() |
Turning the area around the Bus terminal to a shopping mall is not the best. This is all aimed at maximising revenue to the detriment of the sanity of the place and its clearly an afterthought. The whole area becomes congested and its all back to square one. If the land was huge, then its a different case. It looks like the car park spaces meant for short stay drop off or pick up of passengers is now being used for the mall and any spaces left will now be competing as car park for shoppers and it will no longer be convenient for passengers. There should only be a few shops or restaurants selling refreshments and food inside the terminal for passengers. |
She should go to America. Lots of men taller than her who won’t care about her height |
When and how did he acquire this farmland? With what resources? |
Loss Generating Officer ![]() |
I don’t understand how the car is for the little boy. He cannot drive. It’s all publicity stunt. Are they saying that it’s only the kid that will be driven in that car? |
Kenyan media are saying a different thing about the reason she killed him. She discovered he had aids and then killed him in self defence after he threatened her. https://www.standardmedia.co.ke/article/2001271577/ruth-kamande-gives-details-of-how-she-stabbed-her-boyfriend-to-death |
It is which addiction and not which addict. You’re an addict of something or you’re addicted to something |
This is how people in leadership positions should be thinking. Good decision and valid reasons to back the decision. |
ednut1:There is usually no immigration checks on exit from the UK. The only place where you need to show your passport is at check in counter and when boarding the aircraft. It is possible to hold onto someone else's passport in this scenario if you are travelling with them and are the main traveller. Boarding pass alone is enough to get into security for checks after check in. To the OP, What category of work permit is it? If it is tied to an employer and the employer is the uncle, then getting it reissued in Nigeria would be difficult. Even if it isn't tied to the uncle, it may be difficult to get it reissued in Nigeria. I wonder why the person agreed to return to Nigeria. Returning for holiday is a known trick to return people to Nigeria against their will. |
Congrats to them but what is "mum in love" and "sister in love"? i have yet to come to terms with cousin sister and cousin brother and I'm seeing another one again! |
ironheart:You are right but she has no one but herself to blame. If she takes it out on any one of those involved (sister, mum or Fiance), then she is even worse than thought and it was the right decision taken by those involved. |
That is how people discount such studies. It affects men too and many people have OSA in Nigeria but don’t get it diagnosed and it leads to early death. You wake up in the morning after sleeping for not less than 6 or 7 hours and when your alarm sounds, you ask yourself “did i sleep at all??”. You get to work or school feeling sleepy all day or doze off in meetings, sessions or conferences like most of our old men do, coupled with minimal energy to do things. You heart has to pump extra hard at night and your brain is deprived of oxygen many times in the night. In the UK, they wouldn’t waste time in giving you a CPAP machine for free on the NHS and that changes people’s lives. |
By the way its not only Lagos Airport. They collect money in Abuja too. |
It should depend on where the man is coming from at that time of the night. If Eba was the dinner at home that night and she did not know that he was coming home very late, then serving the Eba is justified. Eating a heavy meal before bed is not right so Rice should be the best option at that time of the night Not sure many ladies will cook for their man at that time of the night. |
