Please does he live abroad? He is always Overseas. |
I don't think people from outside Africa should judge such competitions. They will be more suited to mustard taste. Whereas, how can you cook jollof rice without tomatoes? |
Ha Ha. He went to a Unity School AKA FGC. |
Majority of First and Business tickets are bought by Government officials and wealthy individuals, many of whom get Government contracts or concessions. At the end of the day, its still Government money that will be used to buy these tickets, so the tax will be paid by Government. Its just the same money circulating. Overall, the actual gains will be negligible. |
JORDAN202:It is very true. It's not the normal Barclays account. This is Barclays wealth international account in Knightsbridge but managed through Barclays Ikoyi via Canary Wharf, London. They called me to increase my savings to £100k or clear my account to £0 by August 1st which I did. |
Looks like they shop in Costco for President's entertainment drinks! ![]() |
Well, I'm not surprised that Wizkid won it. kiss FM here in London play Come closer everyday! |
Congrats to him but the title appears misleading. He seemed to have graduated from Babcock and the write up indicates that he did his second and third year in Poland as an exchange student, while his first and final year were in Babcock. Why was the title embellished? Which certificate was he given? Babcock or the Polish university? |
It's not possible to lock my car key in my car. The door or boot will simply not shut. If it's the boot, it will go back up when you lock it. |
I have read the debates about whether this is a wise or stupid ban. In developed societies, they won't let it get so far as to completely stop flights to an international airport. it is the continued lack of planning and foresight that has plagued us for ages resulting in this situation. Why have they not thought to build a second runway all these years? If the runway was being maintained regularly, it shouldn't take that long to fix it. Other countries resurface runways overnight and if they need to close it completely for a short period, aircrafts use the alternate runways. Why can't helicopters shuttle people from Kaduna and land somewhere near Abuja international airport, which is far away from the city? Afterall, aircrafts fly near sensitive sites in Developed countries. Countless number of planes fly over London to land at Heathrow and London City airport and yet there is Downing Street and Buckingham palace just below the aircrafts. |
lovelygurl:Lol. Thanks. I'm already seeing that. I'm used to articles and have pretty much been dealing with Latin origin languages, but German is a new territory especially with the neutral gender. So far it has started well. |
lovelygurl:Ok. I suppose we hear different things and that's normal. I listened to it again and can hear English words pronounced pretty much the way I hear it every day. Language is one of my strong points and I speak a few European languages and already started learning German. ![]() |
lovelygurl:She has a German accent. I work with Germans and can usually identify the accent from one sentence. Her mother doesn't have a German accent. |
Google the word schwerbehindertenausweis and check images. You will see loads of such cards with English. English is included in case their citizens need help in other countries. Germans remove spaces in words joining them to one word but readable by all. |
My pot of stew.

rottenegg:They are mainly British tourists. Gambia is advertised as a tourist destination here and many people visit Gambia as part of a packaged tour or on their own. http://www.itv.com/news/2017-01-17/thomas-cook-implements-emergency-plans-to-bring-tourists-home-from-gambia/ |

That seems like a Lufthansa flight. Perhaps a Frankfurt to Lagos flight |

Terminal age for driving in Nigeria is 70? My uncle is 82 and still drives here. So President Buhari is not allowed to drive? |
Whoever delayed the production or transportation of those clothes deserves to be honoured. We would have been the laughing stock of the world. A big kudos to the person or people! ![]() |
helovesme:It's the Boeing 757 aircraft I guess. I avoid it like a plague. |
Unfortunately the woman is also Nigerian. So called Alexia Thomas with several aliases. The story was in the papers today and nearly every person going to work today must have read it on the train or on the bus. http://www.nationalcrimeagency.gov.uk/news/889-joint-fraud-taskforce-calls-on-the-public-s-help-to-catch-ten-wanted-fraudsters |
Congrats to them. Great achievement especially on getting city jobs. Note that in the UK, citizens are entitled to students loan (No interest) for first degree which you pay back when you start working and earning above a certain amount. So there is an alternative in case your parents can't pay your fees. |
Catalyst4real:It's 3.9/4. That's American standard. |
That restaurant/bar is inside the stadium. |
What actually happens is this. You have an agreement with British Gas to supply gas for heating & cooking and to supply electricity. You would need to set up a direct debit with them so they can take payment from your bank account. At the first instance, based on how many people are in the house, the type residence i.e house or flat (including number of rooms) and other factors, they estimate a certain amount that you will be paying each month. Every 3 months, they ask you to read your meter and send them the reading via a special app or online. They calculate how much you owe them or how much they owe you based on the reading you submit. If they owe you, they will refund, if you owe them, they will increase the monthly amount you pay to recoup their payment. From time to time, say every six months, they come to your house to read the meter. If they determine that you have been honest in sending correct meter reading, they reduce frequency of coming to read it. Mine hasn't been read now for up to 3 years. If the price of wholesale gas in the world goes down, they may reduce the amount you pay for gas. Now for fuel, the fuel price we pay at the pump can go up or down depending on the price of oil in the global market. Here in the Uk, the pump price is made up of over 60% tax hence it is much more expensive than many countries, but at least we know what they use our tax for and they don't corruptly spend it. |
nairaman66:While you may put in some jokes in some posts, it's very clear from your posts that you despise the UK and have little regard for its citizens and even your fellow citizens living here. Imagine your shallow thinking of saying UK citizens go to Dubai to work in this day and age of globalisation. Are US and Canadian citizens not working in the UK? You must have been denied visa at the embassy hence you went to Dubai, saw UK citizens working there and felt consoled that at least UK may not be heaven after all. This is an Internet forum and you also don't know who I am, so it's very stupid saying "for the record....." It's no wonder that there are many twats like you who govern in the country resulting in many citizens facing hard life. I doubt that you can compete in a global world. |
nairaman66:The problem with some of you is that the people you know in the UK are the ones who are struggling or living here illegally, so you say rubbish. |
Graduate writing coperate instead of corporate. Na wa oh! |
My car will not lock if the key is inside the car or boot. It has happened twice. As for the boot, it will pop back open when I try to lock it if the key is inside like in a work bag in the boot. If it's inside the car, the door will not lock. |
Apart from his personal will to stay, he will need a British passport so that he can become free to go where he wants to in future and still be able to easily return to the UK or any European country to play without needing a visa. He needs to spend about 6 years playing in England to get that |

. Really wish you the best when it comes to that. That's when most English speakers give up
