Lexusgs430:You think wonga is the victim here? What of the people whose credit reports and reputations have been damaged? Also the reputation of Nigerians and Nigeria. This is how you encourage bad behaviour. |
It was in the public transport newspaper on Monday and the whole of UK read it. It's everyday that they keep on disgracing us here and it's mainly scam, fraud and trafficking that one sees in the papers. |
¿Hay una persona que Habla español aquí? Me gustan las idiomas mucho. Je parle français aussi mais suis pas couramment. Je vais apprendre italien, chinois et arabe aussi. Pour moi, c'est pas difficile à apprendre des langues. |
andyanders:Liver go let am? When he sees real gang, his eye go clear! ![]() |
ttmacoy: ttmacoy:These are the some of the best responses that describe the situation. He seems to neither be German (by birth) nor British (by residency or through parents) but is clearly a Nigerian citizen by descent. Many of our young Nigerian and black boys in the UK join area gangs and run around the whole place with knives and like packs of wolves looking for whom to pounce on and devour (stab and kill). Then he claims that the UK way of life is the only way that he knows. Is being involved in killing someone the UK way of life? I bet he did not think that he was not British! He is not a stateless person and therefore can be deported to Nigeria where he is a citizen whether he likes it or not. It may however be difficult for the UK Government to do this. Having never travelled out of the UK indicates that he may not have a passport and his mum may be illegal here too. Otherwise, they would have at least travelled somewhere in all these years as UK citizens tend to travel a lot. |
sholay2011:Lol. That's how headlines in local newspaper where I live will say "Jamie's cat is missing" or "This dog needs a home" |
Do they still do this in South Africa? It's been going on for years. Most often, they follow you from the airport to the hotel and rob you on arrival. It seems like they get real-time and accurate information from the airport about potential targets especially Nigerians who like to carry cash, expensive bags and wear expensive watches and jewellery. |
Well, if it was here in the UK, the parents would surely receive a letter from the authorities about her weight. http://www.express.co.uk/life-style/health/419256/Overweight-child-letters-toned-down-so-parents-do-not-feel-criticised |
This sounds terribly disgusting! Does the husband even know that this is happening? And to learn that she got the idea from her aunt. How influencing can people be! I cannot even imagine what other weird ideas abound that people learn from others ![]() |
Did he receive any training for this and was he permitted by NCAA to fly onboard as a cabin crew? |

Minority leader blaring siren, jumping red light, crashing into suburban American car. If it was a regular car, only God knows what harm would have befallen the occupants. I'm surprised his aides and hangers on in his convoy did not come out and start beating the occupants of the other car. Perhaps they realised who owned the car. Then flown abroad for treatment....well, others have said it all. |
mutter:She claims she did not know she was pregnant with 5 children and you expect us to believe that. She clearly knew what she was doing and yes, we thank God for the children's lives and her survival but cheating a system is no excuse. Saying there is no need for anyone to make noise about is very wrong. So are there no decent hospitals in Nigeria where she could have given birth and had access to good treatment? And couldn't they treat her for free since it's her country and they want to assist? A system in another country is grossly abused and yet some condone it and even call them maga. I'm not surprised at many statements I read on here and that's why we are where we are in Nigeria. Subtle form of racism indeed! (never mind daily mail). She has made no contribution whatsoever to the UK and its economy in which people have contributed to and paid taxes to fund the system and she breezes in and breezes out with her kids yet people think it's ok to just walk away. Of course she will have done thanksgiving and would be in church every Sunday as is the case with many. It will only get tougher and tougher for Nigerians in their dealings with UK immigration and institutions. |
As others have said, never laminate your certificate if you ever plan on going abroad. They are unable to verify it and check its aging if you do so and our not so good reputation doesn't make it any better. |
It must be very stressful for those fishes. There is no space for them to move or swim! |

Since it's not that easy to get plantain here in the UK, here is how I preserve mine and fry it later. Buy fresh ones that are just about ripe Wrap them in polyethylene bags Freeze them Take one frozen one out Immediately Run it under the tap to soften the peel. Hot water tap is best. Do not defrost the plantain Use the tip of a sharp knife to make a cut from top to bottom Put the plantain on a chopping board, slice it carefully with a very sharp knife. Take real care not to cut your hand as the plantain will be hard Put the sliced pieces in a deep fryer with very hot oil Fry as normal until brown and do not let the plantain start soaking oil Your plantain is ready Pics below

Many interviewers have various professional as well as personal reasons why they won't call you back. Note that interviewers have a list of questions that they are supposed to ask you and at the end of the interview, they are expected to write a summary of your response to each question. In addition, they are expected to write an overall summary and recommendation (if HR expects them to). I have interviewed many fresh graduates in the past both home and abroad and recognise that expert knowledge of a specific area is not required since they don't have experience. In such cases, Interviewers would usually be assessing skills relevant to workplace such as communication, problem solving, teamwork, analytical, leadership, organisation, etc and the questions asked will be tailored towards such skills. An interviewer could ask you questions relating to NYSC experience, project work in school, Industrial Experience, Group work, etc as they can give an indication of your work skills. As for me, here are some of the things I watch out for and which may not get an interviewee a favourable outcome: - Overconfidence/lack of humility (bordering on arrogance) - Poor oral communication skills - Incoherent responses to questions - Answering questions wrongly even when the questions have been re-clarified (It is acceptable to ask if you didn't understand the question) - Not asking intelligent or good questions when asked at the end of the interview if you have any question - Inability to remain calm during an interview even when the environment is not tense - Poor understanding of the role's expectation and/or what the organisation does - No indication that you like to take on leadership roles - Not being oneself (over acting) - Little indication that you have been involved in solving problems Note that if an interviewer feels like they cannot work well with you or you cannot fit in with the culture of the organisation, then they are likely not to recommend you for the job. |
So many colleagues of different nationalities have been asking me about the elections and results. Apart from numerous British people, I have had a German, French, Malaysian and Polish talk about our elections. It seems the world has taken notice of us! |
Whether parties can merge or be registered is dependent on the constitution and should be managed by INEC. Why should it be the creation by an administration or an achievement? |
