pepperdemzombie:First do not blame the mother so we do not end up chasing shadows. If nothing happened to the poor boy, then why did the school suspend the principal? Also, it is very hard for a kid to make up sexual abuse. In cases like this it is always better to start by believing the victim |
seunpas:Is this your take on the matter, that the boy is deceiving everyone? |
This response sounds rather political. Why don't you just apologize to the boy and his family and move on. This could happen in most nigerian scools but you response as a school matters. The boy is in pains and so is his mother and entire family. Show them love. Let them understand that you care about them. They are the victims not the school. |
Janosky:We should create another thread for that. But I believe God the eternal father and in his son Jesus Christ and in the Holy Ghost. The 3 are distinct but one in purpose. They work together for the eternal salvation of mankind. |
Janosky:Don't you see, we all are trying to serve God. We are all trying to find peace and happiness. This isn't a fight between light and darkness but between 2 people both trying to find the light. The most knowledgeable among us, only knows but a tiny bit of the mysteries of God. True we would discuss doctrines and differences but we can't forget that we are all on the same side. The side of truth. No one has a monopoly of truths and the day we think we know enough is the day we stop learning. I encourage discussion's and questions and even disagreement but we must remember that the spirit of contention is of the devil. The spirit of God is of peace and love and gentleness. |
People are not spotting JW when we should working out our salvation with fear and trembling. If you noticed JW are not afraid to tell you their beliefs so if I was one I would have proudly declared. There is so much to do and learn as Christians. The long road to salvation involve's study, faith and practice. It's about understandin the entire scripture and not holding to 1 or 2 verses in a debate. And just because I wouldn't join in the fruitless battle against JW does not make me one. This is not how souls are won |
EFULEFU1:Actually I am not. But what is the point. This pointing fingers will not take any one to heaven |
I am not JW but from this thead it's so clear that Jehovah's Witnesses handled themselves very well. They seem to be much better in the scrpitures than all those who came against them. I am sure the good lady who began this has realized her mistakes. These guys are a step above. All that being said, it is not a competition but a wake up call to all Christians to study the scriptures and don't start what you cannot finish. A lot of uncharitable words where exchaged. It only goes to show that we Christians are more focused in furthering our church doctrines than living the life of Christ. Each was more interested in winning the debate, forgetting that, it doesn't really matter who debates better. |
Emeka71:Maybe but the vids and pics are just there |
FatherOfJesus:Academic journals jornals are a far better source of info. Credible sources for journal articles Assessing the credibility of a journal article is easier than with any other source, as many sites include information such as how many times the work has been cited, whether or not it has been peer reviewed (approved by other researchers), and links to background on the author(s). Whenever you are in doubt, apply the CRAAP Test, considering the currency, relevance, authority, accuracy and purpose of the journal article. The Journal Quality List provides further assistance with understanding the level of credibility of a particular journal. donnie:The problem with some of us is that we find fault with everything. If Jesus is black or white is not my business and if he was born on 25th Dec or not isn't my concern. But that he died for our sins bro. Na the koko be that Note every single day belongs to God. He created day and night. No day belongs to an idol. I can choose to celebrate my God on any day. |
FatherOfJesus:Wikipedia has been wrong several times. Do your research. Like I said Wikipedia was not write by professionals. It's an open source any one is welcome to contribute. Just read the Wikipedia guidelines |

donnie:You just make me laugh. Idolatry mean worshiping idol not decorating your house for Christmas. So you thing on the judgement day God would be askig, "who bought a Christmas tree?' My man decoration and idolatry no be the same thing. Take it easy |
Very funny thread. People can be so funny. This one's angry is Christmas decoration. Oga my own Christmas tree is not cut from the forest. It's synthetic and I don't have gold and sliver on it just plastic deco and led lights. Am I going to heaven now? Some of us live by the things that don't matter and forget the important things of the kingdom. Matthew 23.23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. |
Preciousgirl, I always love reading your insightful writing bUT today you fall my hand. I am not Jehovah's Witness. I don't believe in much of their teachings but if we now start attacking each others beliefs what does that make us? Are are the teachings and beliefs of your own church 100% correct? If you had disussed the doctrines without mentioning any church it would have been wonderful. |
From the title, I thought my mind would be blown by beauty. It looks more like a well kept government quarters. Quite plain. Or maybe it's more beautiful in real life than it appeared in video |
Obviously he was an adopted son of Joseph but being adopted and being a bastard are not the same thing. By the law of man, he was legally the son of Joseph. Remember Joseph claimed him as his own after the angelic visit. He is the legitimate son of the almighty God. At his baptism, his father declared, this is my only begotten son. So you need to go back and learn what it mwas to be a bastard. |
FatherOfJesus:Wikipedia is not actually a very authoritative source. Anyone including you can be a contributor. The bible never stated Mary's tribe but other sources teaches that she is from Judah |
All through the verses of the bible, he told you who his father was. By definition, a bastard is an illegitimate child. Christ was the only begotten of his father, the heir to the Father's kingdom. So unless you have another mean of the word 'bastard' Jesus Christ was not one. |
Guy don't mind all these people forming holy like they have never had sex.. You asked a question that is in many guys hearts. How does one have sex with a girl without commitment. The truth is, most of the time, it boils down to lying. Most girls don't want to be told that you only want them for just sex so if you are not prepared to tell lies, just move on and swipe her from your heart |
Righteousness2:Is this about Jesus or Nigerian prison system? Organize your thoughts before writing. |
If a pastor slaps someone, he is just being strict. If a senetor does the same, he should be recalled from the senate. If a police man slap you, #endsars# Who are we fooling If any of these allegations are true, it show that this man is just as bad as the Nigerian police. That is only if the allegations are true |
greatiyk4u:How would you know? Have you tried it? |
UsmanBabaIdris:As a Muslim, you should understand the change in tradition over time. For example Muhammad married 6 years old Aisha. In today's world, this would be seen as rape but in the 7th century it was in line with most cultures. The point is, what we call stealing today, was seen as okay 2000 years ago |
MaxInDHouse: |
UsmanBabaIdris:Its clear you do not understand the purpose of the bible. The bible was not written to teach a history lesson or a lesson in culture and tradition. The bible was not written as a legal documents or to debate our points. The bible was written to lead men back to God through Jesus Christ. I actually understand your outrage at the fact that someone could just pluck corn from another man's farm. You are a moden guy. In 2020 it would be called stealing. But in the time of Christ it was no big deal. That was why, when the people saw Christ, they did not accuse him of stealing but of breaking the sabbath. There are so many things we can argue about in the bible but I guess the is to small to be one of such. Just understand that cultures are different. And you can do some research on Jewish customs to clear your doubts. After the research you would be thanking me. So when we start argument's over the irrelevant, we forget the weightier things. You are looking for a verse to expressly say that people are allower to pluck corn from others farms. If you have been following this thread someone already did that. But that isn't the point. The lesson here is about the sabbath |
Dtruthspeaker:Cool.. I believe that does it. Thanks |
First the writer of this thread is a very dishonest person who uses click bait's jus to get people to his post. Also he is one of those who do not believe other should have opposing opinions. Not everyone must like your pastor or accept his teachings. It does not make them lazy youths. I believe if you are a true follower of the said pastor, you would be respectful and a bit more honest Note... the creator of the thread said, "Nigerian youths have lost it." First just because people don't agree with you does not make them wrong. Nigerian youths are still some of the highest church goers in the world. Most of them are like you, very loyal to their pastors but few are really smart and would point out the wrong even if it's from a pastor |
UsmanBabaIdris:The bible is not about seeking evidence. The bible was not written to teach Jewish culture and custom so if you are looking for evidence you wouldn't use the bible rather, you would research on Jewish culture. And 12 cobs of maize would not be enough to bankrupt a farmer. You have to note that incidents in the scripture took place over 2000 years ago. The culture and environment was a lot different from today. The laws in society were so different from today. |
UsmanBabaIdris:Actually it was not a case of stealing. In Jewish and other oriental cultures, people are allow to enter a farm and eat as long as they do not take anything out of the farm. This is still in practice in many places in the middle east till today |
He is reminding us that it was he who created the world and rested on the 7th day. Jesus instituted the sabbath. Genesis 2.2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. 3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created. Hence he is Lord of the sabbath |
