F-16 Block 40 avionics are not better than the JF-17. There simply is no evidence to support this. The JF-17 uses the same exact avionics which the J-10 in PLAAF service use.


The F-16 beats the JF-17 interms of hardpoints(11 to 7), Engine 124KN against the 98KN on the JF-17. Infact usually comparisons aren't made between the JF-17 and F-16. The F-16 is a medium weight fighter, while the JF-17 is a light weight fighter.



All evidence proves that the JF-17 as a light weight fighter, is the same as the Gripen C/D but at 1/3 the price.

Not entirely true. F-16 Block 52, Block 60 and Viper are a lot better than the JF-17, but the JF-17 is better than F-16 block 40 and below.

guy don't let f7 ruin your career though electronics not aeronautics what I have observed from the f7 when I was living close to airforce base yola is that the jet is that the jet worth nothing. I mean it doesn't have any advanced technology

You flying coffin of today has no guided bomb nor targeting pod.. It only uses free fall bombs .. Aka dumb not smart bombs.. So it's very hard/ impossible for an interceptor to hit a moving target with free fall bombs..

so F7 moving at Mach 1.3 can hit a moving target with free fall bombs which is only available on your F7... For the records,F7 is an interceptor hence not good for ground targets.. So get your facts right before commenting

The concorde has been retired for years so now there is non..the best you can get now is the Gulf Stream G550 which still falls about 400 km an he behind the supersonic mach. So there is currently non like I schooled you earlier..did you just say speed of light?

Please don't come to my field and lecture me sir ..speed is no requisite for a contrail ..a contrail just requires the right environmental parameter which is hot air meeting cold dense air ..do u know on very cold mornings even Ur car exhaust does same. .for your info there is currently no commercial or private jet that can reach machine which is the sound barrier , even our military currently don't have any air craft that can go supersonsonic ,on paper the Chengdu F7 can but I doubt any of our pilots will try it with that jet for safety reasons .. Actually f18 was used in d battle of fallujah I think, and the pics u posted is stil an f18, f16 is a single engine jet fighter.

yep bro we are getting the jf 17 after this useless government stopped all negotiations for it during the body odour era only to realize that there was no back deals in it and quickly jump back in , we are getting three hopefully out of 40.

As for the f-16, u want a dumb aircraft from the yanks with restrictions greater than the magna Carta abi.
The yanks won't sell either, the cost of maintenance and ordinance are two much and it does not fit The theory of cost effectiviness.
Lest I forget the thunder and fighting falcon have almost the same capabilities while the thunder beats the falcon in maneuverability.

I try not to specify a model when am recommending pc specs coz u might find a certain PC cheaper than another model with same specs. Ao i just tell people togo with the one they prefer.

Anyways, as far as laptops are concerned, u can go for Asus, Msi, Acer and Dell. And Stay far away from Lenovo, HP, Alienware

The MIG-35 a 4++ generation fighter uses two RD-93 engines, the J-31 a 5th generation fighter also use 2 RD-93 engines, both engines produce 196KN of thrust. The same engine used by the JF-17, each single engine produces 98kN of thrust. Gripen C engine produce 80.5KN of thrust.


2. You have any source which points to the JF-17 radar been a joke? A proper reliable source made by actual experts?

Do you even know what mechanical radars are? So by your logic, the Captor radar of the Eurofighter Typoon which is a mechanically steered radar is obsolete?


3. All programming languages are prone to hacks. The F-35 Lightening II, currently the world's most advanced fighter jet is coded in C++ programming.

4. The JF-17 thunder doesn't lack weapons. It is well covered in Air-to-Air, Air-to-Ground and Air-to-Sea, and can incorporate a wide plethora of munitions from many countries across the world.

Can you provide evidence that Chinese and Pakistani weapons are less reliable that western weapons?
