An upgrade version is not close to the S400. And what makes the S400 better than the patriot? The 91N6 and 92N6 radar covering a range of 600km? Ability to track up to 300 targets? and 100 in TAS(track and scan) for the gravestone? El brus 90 processing system? or adaptive beam control?? and the beam steering for the big bird?? .

The S400 missiles is the reason for its toughness and its Long range Radar (600km) Anti jam??
Take away its 40N6 missile and its 600Km acquisition radar then all is finished ..

launching a missile . What type? Probably a manpad?? RPGs... I don't know the presidential Convoy Specification. However RPG's have limited range as it needs LOS (line of sight) in which It would be seen as the shooter range will be covered. If the person launching an RPG seems far away then it won't be able to meet its target as no guidance system will direct it to a moving target.

Ya best bet is to used infra-red to disable the optic tracking. But jamming the launch itself isn't an easy task.

You're right. While the Russians focus more on aerodynamics/manoeuvrability, the yanks spend more time on electronics, hence Russian jets are always lighter and better. It's the same with the helicopters as well, hence the apache can never do what Russian copters can do. But that doesn't negate the fact that the Israelis always upgrade their US jets to their own standard for easy manoeuvres.

It's very difficult to jam TOWs, hence it has been highly effective in the Syria war and the Syrian rebels/Jihadists were able to bring the war to a stalemate for a long time, while capturing swaths of Syrian territory, till the Russians intervened with air bombardments and T90s were deployed. TOWs destroyed a lot of Syrian tanks and left Assad's men running for their lives.

I believe Russia has developed a counter-measure but I don't know how effective the counter-measure is.

Yea Russian Helicopters are okay but the APACHE and Sikorskys' can be very dangerous too, but still Maneuverability goes to the Russian helicopters.


And the TOW can be jammed with Krasukha-4. OR the russian khibiny... Aegis Radar Data Link is stronger than TOW and still Russia SU24 jammed The Aegis Radar system..

The US can also jam TOW by disabling data links around the specific area.. Probably using Barrage Jamming method with their ALQ 99 or NGJ (NOT YET IN SERVICE)

Israelis do a lot of crazy manoeuvres with the F16 that even the US air force wouldn't dare try. I believe Israel does upgrade the aerodynamic abilities of its jets.

I honestly don't think they're alluding to proper SAMs cos of the complexities involved. It should be manpads. And with manpads...you don't need much - it's one for one, with the shoulder doing the heavy lifting.

Also, ISIS shot down the Russian helicopter with the US TOW anti-tank missile. I believe it was flying very low cos it was on a rescue mission after the Turks shot down the SU-27, hence they were able to hit it. And TOWs are bad muthaphuckas. I hope these guys don't have TOW missiles cos if they do, it's game over for Nigeria. TOWs are crazy and you can man it on anything.

Yea F16 is maneuverable but not up to her Russian counterparts....


The Tow can be Jammed as it uses a guidance signal method... moreover I don't think the NDA can have access to the TOW.
