BH says the Gun down NAF Mi17 .pic1
NAF says crash land pic 2
The aircraft in question pic 4
How come the F in the NAF acronym shifted to the other side in bokoharam picture? Was the aircraft repainted after the last picture?

There is one of an animated T72 in the video and there is these recent one in December last year that turns out to be a vickers Eagle MBT and not a T72 has they claimed...

....... grin angry grin
To me there's no way they could have taken control of that location from the troops and NAF isn't that stupid to leave it just there.

Did you observe the fire vehicle in the picture?

Trust me if BHT got there first they would have set the aircraft ablaze.

Look at the picture of the mi17 secured by ground troops and the propaganda one, what happened; did the ground troop left the crash site for BHT to set the mi17 ablaze after it was first secured or his this emerging image photoshoped.

these photos are somehow conflicting: a badly damaged mi17 already secured by heavily armed ground troops at the crash site and later emerging image of the mi17 been burnt.

Something appears not to be right.... huh
Do you remember the edited video of BHT taking a t72?

If this picture enters front page, NAF go chop insult lol

Thunder fire these BHT.

Which one should we believe now NAF or BHT... huh
Let me tell you something grin

The helicopter crash landed and bokoharam got there first but the pilots escaped into our troops territory. Bokoharam then came to fire some crazy shots on the aircraft and then recorded it.

Nigerian army came with shilka and took control of the Area with the help of A-jet and F-7 grin

Or

Bokoharam shot the helicopter and the pilot tried to crash landing then bokoharam got there first but the pilots escaped into our troops territory. Bokoharam then came for recording purposes.

NIGERIAN ARMY HAS TAKEN DELIVERY OF INNOSON MOTORS

To make good it’s promise, the Nigerian Army has started taking delivery of some of the vehicles it has ordered from Innoson Motor Manufacturing Company which it further configured fit for deployment into Operation LAFIYA DOLE theatre of operations.
Still same thing. Exposing our guys to flying bullets.

Don't underrate these herdsman and militant there activities and rate of killing now his no different to a terrorist sect's.
Those guys in Benue are mostly herdsmen. Then the use of police SF, MOPOL etc is very useless in Nigeria if withall their training, they can't handle herdsmen. Their jobs shouldn't be anti robbery or anti kidnapping alone.

The military should not be involved yet except guys from JTF that operates with the police which are mostly regulars. These guys too are good at what they do.

that looks like Loss of tail-rotor thus causing the helicopter to spin uncontrollably.which causes tail boom to break, after it hit an obstacle.this definitely happened when it was about to land

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hnK9bGCvYtU
Exactly. Hence why I said a control surface probably got hit.

Definitely it's not been shot down by any terrorist AA, there is no ignore of projectile hit or smoke if a flying aircraft his been hit.

It's definitely a mechanical or technical fault..!
Wear and tear. The aircraft is been over stressed in my opinion.

I wonder how often maintenance are being performed on it.

http://naijacrib.com/photo-crashed-naf-mi17-helicopter-in-the-north-east-operations/
Trust me, I was expecting this. Now the best BHT will do is to show a video of the aircraft being shot at.

The aircraft definitely went down in a territory controlled by own forces. A control surface or something important definitely got hit then the helo started stalling.

lionel4power:
please explain...

you mean spoofing?
Incase the Russian military detects the drone earlier, they could have jammed it and then the receiver won't be able to receive again as it's been saturated by noise or whatever technology been employed. Once the receiver is been jammed, the drone can't receive command again from the RPV controllers/pilots and then has no other options than to fall of the sky

So after this, the GPS Instead takes control of the UAV sir it can still proceed to the location as programmed.

This depends on various issues and threat assessments

1) was the drone programmed to fall off after reaching the designated area and then the bombs attached to it will explode
2) Since commercially produced UAV have known frequency bandwidth the Jammers etc
Foreign AffairsRe: Technical Discussions On International Military Equipments Doctrines Tactics Etc by tdayof(m): 7:50pm On Jan 12, 2018
lionel4power:
this so-called"drones' are actually hobbyists Remotely Piloted Vehicles (RPV). everything is a drone this days.

cc Tdayof
Yes RPV obviously but some other methods might have been employed to avoid it from being jammed.

I hope NAf said the truth on that helo
No MIA/KIA
NAF report on the aircraft said it suffered a mishap during a COIN operation.

The police wives? Or female police officer that were abducted during an ambush few months ago. The video has been online and you can see the A-jet firing rockets.

The vehicles they recently sold to NA bears some semblance with US army's Humvees, just some slight changes and up-armouring will make it look like the real deal.
It will be very disappointing if those vehicles are eventually deployed to the battlefield without any form of armouring.
Exactly. I'm sure Innoson has something else good in mind.

Even Nigerian immigration now uses the Tavor, I was renewing my passport in Abuja the other day, won’t be surprised if NSCDC wants in on the action
How do they decide on units that make use of the Tavor. I guess the immigration guys are those attached to the comptroller General.

This NPF surprises me. My dad even said he has no idea on when they started using that.

Nice video. I love the deployment of the AML.

About the soft skin vehicles, I made a suggestion of Innoson making something like the Humvees. It will make some sense.

EducationRe: UI Admits 3,783 Out Of 56,172 Applicants For 2017/2018 by tdayof(m): 7:32am On Jan 11, 2018
Makes no sense . The education sector in Nigeria is very poor. 6.73% of applicants only accepted. The fact is these universities do not have the infrastructure and capabilities to handle a handful amount of student. Imagine UI competing with universites like Harvard on acceptance percentage whilst forgetting the fact in the United States, there are over 2000 universities with better educational ranking than in Nigeria therefore leaving students with various choices. In Nigeria, we have got very few reputable government universities and still we admit students
low acceptance percentage.

Ka50/52 has a 30mm cannon. The MIL 28 is good but too many crashes in Syria and given Nigeria's history with crashes.
It doesn't have that pintle canon. Its 30mm is like that of our mi24 where the pilot has to be in the threat direction. Look at our mi35, the gun rotates so that's it.
