jteku: This same Maj Gen John Eneche guy is being interviewed now on NTA morning show now. He also withheld the Tavor automatic and refuse to call the name saying its a personal weapon...as if people cannot google it and get the name. He needs an interview where people can make a phone call accross. |

Xbee007: I just hope average Nigerians get his message.
Most time the questions are preprepared by the crew so presenters have little input. If the reporter, Ajuri, knew his onions he would have added some cogent questions, but he just sat there sounding like a broken record.

If only someone could bring him back to NL so he could receive some lectures. Experience indeed is the best teacher. The knowledge I have garnered on these threads, some classroom can't give me that.
Who is Uju The TVC guy? Brenda UJU is a war Journalist. I think she's with tvc, she's really experienced.

Xbee007: He mystifies the Tavor as if there are no guns better than it and he wrongly claims the Russians use same weapon (perhaps, he meant to say the Israelis. Though the average Nigerian will not spot those gaffes the producer of that show should know better. He was just busy asking a single question in multiple ways.
Did you know that reporter was a Nairalander? In fact, his account is still activated only that he never logs in.
BTW, what happened to the Beryl Assembly line quoted in the 2016 budget? Can't they use part of the money to fast track such project? My advice and opinion is that the interview is just to calm the average Nigeria. The money might not even end up on any purchasing any gun. That journalist knows nothing about the military. He looks like an accountant. Imagine someone like UJU interviewing this man. |

Covert1: He's a true soldier but I beg to disagree. We need new thinking. These guys are spent. And why is he always standing next to the C-in-C. I have a problem with that. The CDS is his boss. It's typical Buhari he trusts people too much till they betray him. I seriously have an eerie feeling. He should sack the lot. The only person deserving retainment is the CAS who should become CDS and not Buratai.
By the way new thinking in the new Theater Commander Op LAFIYA DOLE Maj. Gen. Rogers Ibe Nicholas has become more proactive in response than reactive. See...
My take: For the Nigerian Army I seriously contend that Maj. Gen. Leo Irabor should become the new Chief of Army Staff. Ezugwu should go to MNJTF. At that level for now these guys are the deal. To comment on this issue Ehn na big matter. My own position remains anything that is in the interest of our nation is a welcome idea. Mr President obviously knows the best thing. |

Ihatepork: It's a process bro. Already, the Ibadan portion of Lagos-IB expressway is getting investments and it will soon get into the exterior. Someone even posted pictures of the new factories that have been sited there recently. The icing on the cake would be when the rail is completed. Lagos will be decongested and a lot of new businesses would be sited in the state Yes, senator abiola Ajimobi is doing so much to attract investment to the free trade zone along lagos Ibadan express.

Covert1: Methinks fresh eyes is needed on the challenges. The Nation owes them gratitude as their forbears, they've done well but dunno what new they can bring to the table.
What y'all think? Gonna be more of the same. They are doing really good. A new leader will probably change how things works which might end up being positive or negative so as for me, they're still perfect for the work. Burutai is a fearless man. The CAS has done much for the airforce. The Navy itself is very silent. Imagine getting fresh pictures and updates from them like the airforce.

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the extension of the tenure of the Chief of Defence Staff, the Chief of Army Staff, the Chief of Air Staff and the Chief of Naval Staff. The approval was confirmed by the Minister of Defence, Mansur Dan-Ali, who noted in a statement by his Public Relations Officer, Colonel Tukur Gusau, on Monday that the President extended the tenures “having carefully reviewed the ongoing military operations across the country.” The statement, which did not specify the duration of extension, means that the CDS, Gen Abayomi Olonisakin, the army chief, Lt. Gen Tukur Buratai, the air chief, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, and the naval chief, Vice Admiral Ibok Ete-Ibas, will continue in office. http://punchng.com/breaking-buhari-extends-tenure-of-defence-service-chiefs/ |

The self proclaimed American researcher is somewhere in Singapore or where is it called telling DHQ what to do.
Common sense doesn't seems to be common. As you can see the ERA are being hit by RPG.
Mr, all this English stuff and dumb write-up of yours makes no meaning. Priorities first, we have enough tanks to pound BHT.
Yes we need to start equipping our military for future threats but as for now, we need to take our boys out of those skinny Toyota and get then MRAPS, AFV, IFV to pound BHT positions.
A whole shilka is more dangerous in the North East than a T-14 armata . So we need to equip IFV, AFV and not tanks for now.
When getting tanks, we should get some ACV with tank killer capabilities. |

nemesis4u: anyways today was fun in bidexii thread though
SC was literally in berserker mode
he literally gave everybody his piece of mind starting from T72 , European junk , NAF air marshals , Oyinbo , all nigerians , Lagos Benin expressway , armed robbers , pot holes , black man , Libya , slave trade , Abuja politicians , APC election campaign 2018 , Nigerian army generals , Nairaland mafia , some cult , looters , black africa , disappearing ERA tiles etc and he did mentioned something about nairaland fools
the guy really gave vent to each and every issue troubling his mind
plus his desire to be born in japan manga fan i presume
not to forget he seemed fixed to have iblawi auctioned at a Libyan slave market for less than 250 dollars
i was kind of afraid that CaptainStephen out of frustration might have driven right into the BH hordes in his T72 all guns blazing rather than face the never ending mind twisting outbursts
hola CaptainStephen plz sit tight we will get through this together
as for me i for a second though of dropping in a meme but thankfully better sense prevailed over me , who knows he might have taken me and all of Asia to task
edit: lolzz the guy still not finished might need to update the post later update 1: iblawi value at the Libyan slave market just dropped to zero dollars update 2: iblawi now valued as fit for donation to Libyan farm owners as free laborer |

SupremeCourt: ?
Are you blind or just an idiiot? That Nigerian T-72 is ERA model and all the ERA armour have fallen off and disappeared completely exposing the tank to easy RPG that Boko Haram can use to cook all the ammunition inside and kill those innocent soldiers Bros we're not gullible here. ZTE transoorted our T-72s which was later flown with Ukraine AN it's on their website. The T72 shipped to Nigeria from Hungary have no ERA. STOP LYING MAN http://zte.pl/en/news/t-72s-transported-zte
