https://www.cbn.gov.ng/intops/ReserveMgmt.asp After reading that page, it shows that Nigeria can actually find the defence sector with the external reserve. |
QuietMynd:The Central Bank of Nigeria Act 1991 vests the custody and management of the country’s external reserves in the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). The Act provides that the CBN shall at all times maintain a reserve of external assets consisting of all or any of the following: a) Gold coin or bullion; b) Balance at any bank outside Nigeria where the currency is freely convertible and in such currency, notes, coins, money at call and any bill of exchange bearing at least two valid and authorized signatures and having a maturity not exceeding ninety days exclusive of grace; c) Treasury bills having a maturity not exceeding one year issued by the government of any country outside Nigeria whose currency is convertible; d) Securities of or guarantees by a government of any country outside Nigeria whose currency is freely convertible and the securities shall mature in a period not exceeding ten years from the date of acquisition; e) Securities of or guarantees by international financial institutions of which Nigeria is a member, if such securities are expressed in currency freely convertible and maturity of the securities shall not exceed five years; f) Nigeria’s gold tranche at the International Monetary Fund; g) Allocation of Special Drawing Rights made to Nigeria by the International Monetary Fund (IMF). |
BruncleZuma:I have never seen DSS with such camo. The only camo I know DSS uses is the one similar to that of the Nigerian Customs. Moreover, what does an intelligence organization makes use of camo for? The camo being used by DSS is almost in form of a jacket. Their troopers use black black for strike operations just like the Navy SBS. |
bidexiii:Blablablabla. I hope this doesn't lead to military confrontation on both sides by the border. |
Algerian1:He should be here by January 1st. |
At least be a man of dignity.

Deway7575:It's been number stylishly written. The problem is the number isn't that visible well again. You can see it well in other pictures. @hadizamuhammed500 |

Pictures of Nigerian police on AU/UN missions in Somalia, Mali etc makes you think it's not the same NPF you know over here. Congratulations to ACP Adeoye. |
Sango to dugbe? Meaning they obviously passed through eleyele. Someone that should have turned into police state headquarters or letmuck cantonment and see them moving away. ![]() |
bidexiii:If to say BHT get anti air capabilities.. I mean if they're in possession of manpads, I'm sure we will be operating 4th generation aircrafts already. |
Ibrahimanees:I saw the increment in our foreign external reserve and I felt like removing just a billion USD alone and place orders for some flankers. |
Frumentum:Not the first time Patriot will be missing it's target. |

Posing as a staff of an organization when it's not an issue of national security? DHL needs to sue these guys. |
Nigeria to go electric? A country that depends on oil? Go electric and see our economy crumbling. |

bidexiii:E be like sey Odunayaw na one of us.. Odunayaw Don call my city, city of brown roofs. I'm waiting for some SARS to give him 20 strokes ![]() |
bidexiii:Yes, you? |
QuietMynd:Nope. Oyo state command will be the first to make use of ours when it's been delivered. |
udemzyudex:Whoever brought up the idea of SARS putting on black T-shirt without an identity made a huge mistake. Imagine an officer without an ID number. Had an encounter with the SARS guys last week along Ibadan /Ijebu ode road where you'll meet over 7 checkpoints. After flagging the vehicle at our front, another officer passed us but the other police had to jump to the front hitting his gun on the vehicle requesting us to stop almost leading to an accident. We got angry asked the driver a police officer to park and immediately we parked the guy didn't even notice the vehicle belongs to the NPF. Man couldn't read what is on the vehicle. An officer who find it hard to read the word "Police blablaba" is an embarrassment to the Nigerian police force. Others left him and had to start apologizing before we left. Imagine if it was an ordinary civilian because he already started with his rubbish words like na you put me for road, who you be etc. NPF needs to put out monitoring teams out there. Each team should be led by reputable officers ranking from DSP and above. Zonal AIG can also partake. |
