Hmmmm. I guess you didnt read through my post either. Dont get me wrong. There are 2 main types of smartphone users. The first ones are those who buy devices just to show off, whether they know something, little or absolutely nothing about the said phone or smartphone in general isnt a big deal for them, all they are concerned about is buying the latest device made by a particular company, even if it doesnt meet their demands or probably not useful to them at that present moment. when a later version comes up, they get upset
The other ones are those who knows exactly what they want in a smartphone and its features, they buy that exact piece of machine and they are good with it.

Tell you what man, you shouldnt have any complain if you fall into the second group. just because Samsung released a new batch of device doesn't necessarily mean the old ones have been condemned.
From your example, A7 is a big phone and you are not a fan of huge devices but you decided to get it anyway because it is the latest device from the company, now when they released the size you wanted, you got upset.
it also sounds absurd when you stop buying a phone from a particular manufacturer just because they keep releasing fresh models and stopping you from the ego of owning their latest devices and going for another company where they are stucked on one device for years.
Samsung isn't Tecno, they release phones based on individual preferences i.e releasing different device based on different individuals choice of uniqueness and design (apart from the flagship devices) and not because the older one was a failure, Their latest phone doesnt mean it s the best of all their releases neither does their older ones the worst. You only choose your choice. ok?!

This OP is a clown. Let me pick your points one by one

1. Hangs a lot
That is the reward of buying Tecno and other Chinese oriented cheap smartphones. I cant remember when I had a device that slows or hangs. It is a not a must for you to use an android smartphone if you cant afford one, but if you insist on buying the cheap made ones, then stop complaining when you get a slow, crawling and hanging processors.

2. Drains battery

This is the most common stuff among each and every smartphone regardless of the Operating system. Android, ios, WP, symbian and d rest. Your battety consumption depends on how u use your phone, your CPU power and your battery capacity. If u want a phone that will last you for a month on a single charge, stick with Nokia torch-light phones.

3. It drains data
Come on, nothing good comes easily. U cant compare opening a facebook site with a smartphone's main browser and a java phone browser. Especially flash sites. Stuffs like getting your email in real time on the go, updating weathers and locations, updating your socials almost every minute and staying online. These goes into extra data consumption and it isnt limited to just Android. All other operating systems does this.
Java phone will do u some good if you want to avoid extra data.

4. Over heats.
It s quite normal for smartphones to get warm during operation especially on a high load, but over heating? Well I dont know about that, what kind of phone do u use oga?

5. Box of Malware Google play store.
The question is, who forced your fingers into downloading every single thing you come across on play store in the first place. There are thousands of apps in the store but that never meant you must download them all, only go with What you need.

Stop crying OP. Get a good android smartphone or quit and embrace Java phones. No be by force

I had a Tecno R7 in october. actually had a galaxy s3 before then. i ve always wondered why a smartphone will have a 256000 screen colours which is what tecno normally offers, how will I enjoy the phone. prove me wrong, my wife is a typical tecno addict so I ve practically tested most of their popular devices, Q1, p3, p5, f5, m3, H5, phantom pad. mtcheew. all poos. I saw the R7 advert in ghana and I was like, hell yeah, this Tecno people just made my phone, a 16million coloured touch interface, got it after a month of eyeing the device online.
Truth be told, u will never enjoy a tecno screen if you are coming from smartphones like Samsung, HTC and d rest. I am a witness to this.
My R7 eventually got cracked puttin it in my trouser pocket, the same position I normally put my previous phones. just 3 weeks old. unbelievable. no wonder why tecno are going cheap, inferior materials. no wonder it was made only for the african market. "Plenty but rubbish" kinda devices . I am forced to go back to my old device now anyway.
I will rather go for a Gionee device instead, at least they are not popular as well but they have good and durable device materials.

whatsapp involves sharing of your phone numbers which automatically gives the other party access to have and call your contact. This is why ladies prefer stickin with BBM which only involves ur PIN.

*My conclusion.. personally I prefer whatsapp but if u can be contended with the extra data and battery consumption, then BBM is much more secured and better

Well, I think BBM is much more better due to its secure management. you might give your PIN out easily but not your number. notwithstanding, I prefer and I use more of whatsapp due to its simplicity, flexibility, low RAM , Data and battery consumption.
