A cousin was asking me about process of migrating to Canada or Australia as a nurse and I was totally naive, so I told her I will get back to her, so I started research and found this thread.


I have read here and noticed that the most chosen applicants CRS is 470 and above, so I want to know if she stands a chance because I tried using the CRS evaluation tool but couldn't comprehend some fields so the result was around 220.

Marital status = single though engaged

Profession = Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife (Bsc Nursing)

Please what's the likely score she would get if she is able to get 7777 in IELTS?

Why so you think there is a struggle for each party to have more Senators in the house? Its so they can be in majority.

Those in majority hold much of the decisions that go on there and saraki knows this.

Since the simple majority in the house now is APC then it becomes east to form a quorum from The current majority and getting 2/3 to impeach saraki.

A minority cannot effect unless they are able to convince the majority to join in the process.

The majority already take a position of leadership which is why they also determine who the senate president should be. Senate president always comes from the majority but reverse is now the case in Nigeria.

I repeat, if you people carry out illegal impeachment of Saraki and deputy, it will come back to haunt, as the legislature now needs just 2/3 of any majority (can swing overnight) to make any law, and to impeach the president.

Tonye your job is going to get really hard in the coming days. I would have said PDP is winning AKS previously, but with Akpabios defecting, there's really a problem.

My only fear in all this is that the 8 years the Eket senatorial district has will come and go, and nothing tangible will be done in the zone to position its people as other zones did during their tenure.

Then we suffer another 16 years of neglect and other zones fully utilizing power to their gain.

I for one would love Akpabio to be the Senate president or deputy of this country its all to our collective gain.

With recent happenings, I can not confidently say again that PDP will win AKS 2019. The APC will get close to 40% as someone rightly said and that margin is too close for federal might to overturn.

Spot on...APC fielding Osinbajo, automatically all the north will "defect" to pdp if they field a northern candidate. I told someone in 2015 that the alliance done to take power from the pdp at all means will end up giving us northern presidents for a long time.

Marina isn't busy, but I agree with you on the other roads and street light is needed. Eket also needs Plaza. A five star hotel should be built at ibeno Beach, the beach should be dredge and maybe least out to be managed.

Busy should not be criteria for dualization. It links to Ibeno road, Liverpool/atabong road and Onna/PH. With more development, it's going to get busier.

Didn't previous administrations concentrate on your district? Eket district that contributes most of the money was neglected. That Udom is rigging that does not mean he is concentrating on one district. Surely there should be government projects in your zone. Which I'm guessing it's Uyo district.

I would want to believe it is because of quality, this stretch of road from just the head bridge to the round about has taken a long time.

Also other roads need to be dualized too. The sham extension that was done on Oron road instead of dualization needs to be corrected. Marina, hospital road, Liverpool and AfahaUqua needs to be dualized too.

The plan is good, but progress is slow.
