HealthRe: How Healthy Is Tissue Paper? by Theblessed(f): 3:53pm On May 13, 2009
Thanks and Thanks again!!  If people take their health and hygiene needs seriously why would they get out of their prams herehuh?  That goes to confirm all I have already said on here.  Beware of a man or woman that cleanses their private area with water and finger business each time they frequent the lavatory because, they could pass on incurable microbes you would end up regretting please, becareful!!
In fact, such people their fingers are nothing but DEATH TRAPS/SENTENCE - I can assure you and I stand my grounds on what I said.  Their problems, not mine!
HealthRe: How Healthy Is Tissue Paper? by Theblessed(f): 2:47pm On May 13, 2009
Disgusting!!

You mean people are still doing this?

How could anyone sensitive to hygiene issues ever accept ordinary pea nuts from these guys let alone accept invitation for dinner in their homes, if ever their homes are clean?  Damn!!
I bet you'd be eating their dirts, won't you?  Just tell me, how could those fingers be thorough cleaned and sanitized after each visit to the lavatory since you opted for water in a jar and your fingers. huh!  You mean hygiene the Nigerian way or whathuh  Pleasssssssssssssse!!!!!!! I rather starve than accept a pea nut from any of these guys.  In Nigeria, it's only the Yoruba tribe and some Hausas that are well known for this unhygienic behaviour, don't we all know this?  In Nigeria we have the DIRTIEST/LAZIEST as well as the most CLEAN/NEAT tribes.
In my view, the most CLEAN/NEAT tribe in Nigeria are the CROSS RIVER STATE PEOPLE -
I mean former Cross River State (Can't tell how many more states have been created out of it, right now).  They are really very clean people, you need to visit their homes to understand what I am talking about e.g visit Calabar and you would know.  They may not have much materially, but the little they have - Boy, it's spot on!!!   And the DIRTIESThuh?  I won't go there babes because, Nigerians know them.

Well people, we now live in the 21st Century - carrying mobile phones, watching satellite news can we please, stop behaving primitively and do things the civilised way, pleeeeeaaaaase!!!
FamilyRe: If I Get Married And My Wife Delievers A Baby Girl I Will. . . by Theblessed(f): 11:32am On May 06, 2009
Damn Women:
If I get married and my wife delievers a baby Girl i will. . .

1. Definately not feel attracted to her from that moment she was delievered

2. I will not even accept the daughter as my child because i would have disowned her from the day she was born

3. I will definately not attend to her needs and provide the basic necessities she craves

4. I will starve the mother from financial needs to cater for the girl

5. I wouldnt even acceed to any of her needs

6. I will definately maltreat her without any remorse and beat her ceaselessly

7. Schooling is not an option because she doesnt need it rather hard labour will be the order of the day

8. When she is able to walk and has attained the age of 5 or 6, i will definately give her up to be a house girl far away from me and offer the new owners a life long lease to do with her whatever they want and not return her home. In short a blank check.

9. If she grows up to be a prostitute, all the better she  i really dont care what she turns out to be

10. I will finally divorce the mother because she produced an abberation that is unneeded and probably adopt a son if the other women i sleep with produce female offsprings.

But if If I get married and my wife delievers a baby Boy i will,

1. Definately love the mother more than anything in the world

2. Attend to all his needs and spoil him silly with everything money can buy

3. Kill myself to make sure he has the soundest education money can buy

4. Will not lay a finger on him and will kill anybody that attempts to touch him without consent

5. Any thing the mother wants will be given to her pronto

6. He will be the apple of my eye

7. He would be exposed to the world of business and politics at an early age so as to claim his rightful place as a future leader

8. He will be given the full consent to consort with any girl he wants, sleep with them (Of course with protection), bring women home and discard them with my full backing.

9. I will only be mad at him if he gets a girl pregnant and feel remorseful to accept it as his own. I will prevent such thoughts from occuring except he is married to a clean virgin.

10. I will teach him how to be a man and how to handle women because he has to pass the legacy i have bestowed upon him to my grandSON

All these i pledge to do when the choices are placed before me. AMEN grin
Hey Commenter

Sorry, to read you hated your mum and sisters this much and now your own blood and
flesh - your daughters when you eventually have them. I am also, sorry for your brainless head! This goes to show how ignorant your are . Wondered who gave birth to you in the first place?

At your age, you still don't know that men determines the sex of their babies.  Right, a little education for you.  Now listen, God created a man with 1 choromosome known as Y chromosome and women with 2 chromosomes also known as X and Y chromosomes.
In this situation a woman is like a goal keeper or a banker.  As a banker - what you deposited is what you take out. If you deposited your Y chromosme to her Y chromosome, you get a baby boy and when your Y chromosome hit her X chromosome you get a baby girls, period.

So, next time know how you shoot your game with your women.  Trouble is, men who talk like this always breed baby girls my uncle is one of them - 8 girls and 1 boy - but are baby girls not a blessing to any family?  God knew what he did when he balanced the scale e.g. ADAM and EVE, abi?  Baby girls bring love, peace, unity, blessing and balance in the family. What if God is listening to this your crap and decides to give you disabled baby boys with chronic illnesses and your baby girls very healthy - just to teach you and others like you (there's still many of them out there) a good lesson, how would you plead? Your see, creation is not in your hands but God's.  You are only a messenger and a messenger should not convey his messages in  proverbs. All you have to do is to pray that you are blessed with healthy children and not to pick 'n' choose because, the God of creation watches every heart.  Be very, very careful else, your hate will become your nightmare!!! Do not say I did not warn you.

ow11:
Your grasp of standard British English is suspect as shown by your spelling and punctuation errors. This would not be noticeable if we as Nigerians had our own dialect of the English language that is indigenous to us. Many countries have their own dialect different from the standard BE and many youngsters have this informal English we speak in Nigeria as their native language. So I do not think it is out of place to use this means to help a child understand a topic of discussion better.

Rather than scream blue murder, we should see how we can work round this situation and try to produce a standardised version of this language that can be used in formal settings.Everyone knows how easy it is to understand better if spoken to in your native tongue.
Didn't declare myself an English language expert, lecturer or professor neither did I claim to have a Doctorate (PhD) in English Language so what's the heck about my English grammer/spelling? No one cares if it's correct or not on here except you and I'm not the only one on here with bad grammer either, am I? Obviously, you are not an Enlgish lecturer either and that disqualifies you from judging my grammer/spellings on here.

There is nothing wrong in making children learn the correct way of doing things instead of the easy way hence, laziness.  When the British came, our fore-fathers' learned English language the hardest way than our generation yet, they wrote it well, spoke it gramatically well and correct even till this day.  Evidently, my 85 years old father was one of the early scholars the British Catholic fathers taught English language when they were there, and they learnt first hand.  Now, imagine our generation with grammer/spellings, otio!

The fact is that, the English people we all borrowed this language from also have their own native and local way of speaking and using the language and as such had not forced these native/local dialects on to the academic arena in order to simplify or make it easier for their children.  Everyone knows that English language is a difficult and complex language to master yet the whole world manages to use and speak it their own way whilst still maintaining the  basic grammer and spellings at academic levels.  So, why should we destroy our unique and authentic Nigerian PIDGIN English by trying to make it acadmic worthy or credible, when most Nigerians can read/write and understand it their own way and no harm done to anyone?  So, what's the problem?

Pliiz liv ma pidgin Inglish alone - we no want am standadized and standardization can only lead to one thing or the other and by the time we realised it, it's uniqueness and authenticity, would have gone and we'd have nothing to be proud of.  So, leave our pidgin English the way it is, Nigerians are happy with it because, it's the only one common language majority of Nigerians can communicate and understand each other very well indeed so, don't tamper with it, please.  Cheers!!

The OP scenario is different and is more akin to a multi-monogamy setup in that each wife has her own place.
Since the kids dont grow up together, interaction is limited, and perception is dominated by speculations and gossip. This usually results in a high level of mistrust, as each family feels the others are getting a better deal at their expense.

Even when everyone is cohabitated, polygamy could still easily get nasty.
Hi biina

I'm sorry! I can appreciate how angry you are about polygamism - me too.  I am so happy you are airing your views about what you believe in.  I will not say much now until everyone has aired their thoughts then I would let the world know about the effects of this ideology on my childhood.  Come on buddy, bring it on!

Thank you Ogidi!

You see some people don't understand what this WWW.world.com means.  If one comes on here to seek peoples views or make comments then, they should be prepared to receive both positive and negative responses from all over the world - in other words, WORLD VIEWS from all the four corners of the world.  Most Nigerians are very ignorant and can't accept that other parts of the world are DEMOCRATIC and are free to say what they like - whether painful on your skin on not and that is called FREEDOM OF SPEECH.  Nigerians are yet to grow up to this ideology.  They want democracy but they can't hark simple truth about Democracy. Therefore, I say to my fellow Nigerians brace yourselves for democracy if you are really, really ready for it but I'm sure you are not there yet.

You see, this boy is an illitrate and thus lack understanding - that's why I am not bothered about what he writes here.  The world would forgive him but I must direct him in the area I think he would shine most - at selling motor part at Eko or Idumota and that's enough for me.  Once again, thanks for your support and God bless you!

@TheBlessed,

Something just told me to have a look at the profile of this mad woman and what did I find. A chimp with a red lip.

Chei!! You even have the courage to post a picture showing your ugly face on your profile.

Maybe your ashawo mother told you a lie that you look cute. No You dont look cute. You look every bit like a chimpazee with a red lip.

You look disgusting!! I almost threw up after looking at your picture.

No wonder you sounds so frustrated.

Men take their eyes away from you in disgust each time they look at the eyesore that is your face.  yuck yuck yuck.

Dont blame me for your plight. It is the fault of your mother that made love to a chimp in a zoo to conceive you. Unfortunately, you ended up looking worse than even a chimpazee with your nauseatingly shaped and hideously fat nose.
Oh too bad boy, too bad!!!!

You see, they say to catch a thief, use a thief!  And, it takes an urgly person to know one, too.  If I am urgly, that makes us two and I would leave that for the world to decide on here and I know I am a beautiful black woman, ok!
You are a very jealous and envious person.  Your jealousy is so obvious and transparent for all to see here via your name calling (chimpazee, chimpazee, chimpazee - urgly face, urgly face urgly face and so on, ). At least, from this, the world could see how full of envy you are.  So stop hiding behind those stupid name calling ok!  You are like a child throwing tantrums because your male ego has been bruised.  You see, I don't live in Southern hemisphere so, who cares about what men down there says or think about me, eh!  In fact, men down there are too eager to have contact including yourself, lier. However,  before thinking of it, I suggest you go check up your HIV/Aids riddled body first!
You see, it's all too easy to seat there writing nonsense about women and you have no knowledge of what you are writing about and when challenged, you resort to what you know best, name calling - the only defence mechanism you know.  Your mother, grandma, sisters, aunties and nieces are all women too.  This only shows how brainless you are - talking from your a-re instead of your head.  You just sat there saying negative things about women and forgot your mother and the entire female offspring of your family are all women and probably - LEECHES and SUCKERS in your own words, idiot.  May our God NAIL YOU IN HELL NEXT TIME you say negative things about women without doing your research properly.
Now, kiss my a-rse on your way to HELL!  Silly, idiot, who just open his mouth and talk without thinking.  Next time before you slag women, remember you have a mum and sisters, too.

EducationRe: Nigeria National Anthem (Old In Use: 1960-1978) by Theblessed(f): 8:05pm On May 03, 2009
princejay:
Its difficult to believe, but the National Anthem was changed because of that one offensive line. In a world where eminent Nigerians frequently refer to the country as "a mere geographical expression", the use of the word "tribe" and an admission of the fact that we "differ" could not be tolerated in the National Anthem.
But hey,

The truth must be told.  And the truth was there in the National Anthem, so stop blaming the British - Nigerians differ in many ways the only similarity we have as tribes of Nigeria is that: our skin/hair colours are black, period the rest are our differences.  So, we have many differences than similarities.
For starters, we have more than:

**200 languages/dialects in Nigeria to negotiate.

**We have no common language of our own except the English language which your so
called eminient Nigerians, living in England and most other English speaking countries
use every day. There children are all in foreign schools, colleges and
Universities studying in English language (Hypocrites!!!).

**Without English language we can not even understand each other, abi? At least, the
British have similar tribal divide as we have (Remember, the Scots, the Welsh, Northern
Ireland and their Falkland Islands in Argentina) still, they have one common language
that binds them together and its call ENGLISH LANGUAGE but where's ourshuh

**We have no unity in this country and we can not have real peace until  we have a
common language. Like Nigeria, Ghana have many languages but generally use one and its
compulsory in their schools and colleges.  East and Southern African countries have many
languages but use/understand one language, common to most people and its called -
SWAHILI.

**Until the Nigerian Government makes the 3 major tribal languages compulsory in our
schools, Colleges etc, the divisions in our country will continue.

So, my dear brother, its time we stop blaming the British for every thing and start dealing with our in-fighting because there's great division in our country in many ways.

Why must women leech on men? Why cant they learn to feed themselves rather than wait on men to feed them? Dont they have hands? Why cant they rely on the fruit of their labour to survive? Why must men continue to agree to play the mugu (the sucker)?
Hey man!

How do you mean, by women being leeches - leeching on men?  Does that include your mum, grand-ma, sisters, aunts, nieces and girlfriends or?  If so I rest my case.

You see, women do not need men rather, its the other way round - men need us alot more than we need them, period.  We only need them for procreation that's all.  We can cope with or without men but you lot can not,  period.  That's why men are much eager to find a companion quicker than women do.  When it comes to economic stability unfortunately, most 3rd women can not boast of that because of the rotten culture and politics/policies put in place in these part of the the world by men of your kind to control, stiffle and abuse women due to your insecurities.  Given their rights and opportunities, women can achieve if not more and better than you lot. You can not say this nonsense about women in the West or other civilised countries, where women have the opportunities to do as they please, ok.  As a black women living in the West (and goes home regularly), I am very independent - married or not because the part of the world I live in empowers women and made it possible for women to actualize whatever their goals and aspirations are in life (shame my own country deprived me of this, and I thank God I escaped this bondage however, I'm concerned about the sister I left behind).  As a result, I am able to do what I want and when I want it.  I hate to boast of my own little achievements but your commentary on here has pushed me to.  I can say that, living in a foreign land, I have all the opportunities my own country deprived me of, at my finger tip here, shame! I have houses, cars, investments, a career and other things that makes life worth living therefore, have no need to leech on any man (as you called it). I believe given the same opportunities, my sisters in the 3rd world would have no need to leech on any of you lot but I doubt whether men like you in the 3rd world could cope with independent women, can you? Because women independence would SHAKE up your MALE EGO to the core - can you cope??

So when you go about slagging women off, be sure you understand the underlying ISSUES about their dependency (if any) because you do not therefore, I suggest you shut your big trap about women.

What I'm I hearing here?  Is this a dream or nightmare?  Did they mention Social Security for Nigeria or what?  In your dreams or whathuh??

Naaaaaaaaaaaaah!  Nigeria is not even capable of feeding its population (I mean 80% of Nigerian citizens are basically starving and malnourished - can't afford 3 good meals a day let alone Social Security benefits for its citizens - in your dreams?   Have you considered the implications both in Nigeria and neighbouring countries.  Britain was one of the first countries in the world to establish the Social system together with the National Health Service in 1947 - over 60 years now, they are still finding it the biggest headache and a drain in their budget each year and there you are thinking Nigeria has got the stomach to cope with its demands?

Please, stop dreaming and let's bear our shame silently!  Some Nigerians have the biggest ego anyone could imagine.  In terms of fiscal revenue and investments, they don't actually understand how small Nigeria is, compared with the big boys.  If Nigeria wants to play the big boy - I'm sure it knows the criteria it has to meet before knocking on the doors of the boys, ok!  Let me remind people once more, we have nothing ok!  Aside, the oil wells, what else could bring in big money big time into our already dead economy.  We are not the only oil producing country in the world - there are quite a number now and Ghana next door has been blessed too. There are companies all over the world producing energy saving goods to stop the dependency on oil soon, the demand of oil would wean and how then, will Nigeria meet it's Social Security needs and with it's exploding population of 150 million poor and 3rd class citizens who would all qualify for Social Security benefit, what would it do thenhuh This can't even be a dream - it's madness. So, what makes any Nigerian think we can afford this big plan, I don't know.  Well, there's nothing wrong in dreaming, let's dream on!

It can never happen - maybe and maybe in the next 100 years and for it to work, Nigeria has to work in tandem with neighbouring countries  and they must have their own Social Security systems in place, too.

Everyone is God's child and God loves us all no matter our sins.  Madness or no madness Everyone will either go to Heaven or Hell.  In fact, what matters is the repentance from our sins.  Have we truely repented from our old ways before this madnesshuh

Both mad people and sane ones will go to Heaven but our suitability for Heaven depends
on how we led our lives here on earth.  As christians, we believe that on the last day, we will all be judged according to our actions when we were sane i.e. well and healthy and of sound mind.  Anything we did when we were mentally ill will not be accounted for in the presence of God - our God will not ask us about it because he knows we were incapable of reasoning our actions so, they would not be counted against us. In fact, Jesus Christ himself during his time on earth did heal a couple or more of these mentally ill people or should I say - Demon possessed people as they were known that time.  So, analyse this further and draw you own conclusions.

<english accent> me, timid? ha!  and dont be sorry for me, cos as of now you've become my favourite granny.
One could actually see how ignorant this "it" really is.  So, English accent means, you are not ignoranthuh

Well, since you don't know who your Nan is, I wouldn't mind closing my eyes and be your Nan

for 2 minutes in order to brush off the ignorance in you and more reasons why you should accord

respect, thick!
RomanceRe: Nigerians: Would You Marry Another West African? by Theblessed(f): 2:08am On Apr 18, 2009
Why not?

At least you won't have tribal issues either way and as we know it in this country. Besides, most Africans know where they stand with Nigerians and don't mess with our intelligence cos' Nijas are regarded as smart and clever people - before they could 419 us, we don take their whole country home - THEY DON'T MESS WITH US.  So, if you are considering it go for it - better than home people anyway plus the added exposure on the international platform and your children benefits both ways - double blessing for your family.  Good luck!!
EventsRe: Dresses For Bridesmaids And The Rest Of The Bridal Train; Who Should Pay? by Theblessed(f): 11:27am On Apr 17, 2009
Well, its usually the Bride and Groom except where

you voluntarily wish to pay for it or part of it else,

Tradition dictates, he who invites the guest brings

the KOLA, that's normal in many parts of the world.
