Don't go to Ghana with this plan. No Ghanaian will patronize you for noodles and Tea. Even if you learn how to make noodles like they do ie with lots of veggies, they will not patronize you.

Dunno If Nigerians living in Ghana will be interested enough in Naija style noodles to patronize you.
Why not?
Don't they buy noodles in Ghana?

It just means you aren't just anybody.
You are unique

TEF: Test d’évaluation de français
French exam needed for migration to Canada. You and Nogen are the Canadian French speakers I know of. The others in the Living in Canada thread do not seem to be speakers (I hope I am wrong, the more help the better).

Quite a lot of people need to take French in order to boost their points for migration. I am asking for tips on learning French and encouragement for people.

P.S. @mazuide also wrote that he is learning though he has not come online for a while.
Joo2018,
I have been exposed to French since I was a baby and I grew up with it as my first language.
I dont think I am the right person to help those who are learning French as a second or foreign language given that I never been through that process.

In any case, as indicated by Nogen, Alliance française in your state should be a good start.

I bet those who return didn't do so on a 1 way ticket
They must have citizenship of some western countries where they can go back to.

It is call crab mentality
If you put a bunch of crabs in a bucket, soon as one crab start to go up to come out of the bucket, the other crabs will pull him down. Therefore no crab will come out the bucket.

Most of the people abusing the op will jump at the opportunity of going abroad. But they aren't happy that op is interested in guys from abroad

So guys in Nigeria feel like op is bringing them down. Thus, the insults

Education in Ghana from kindergarten to Senior high is free in Ghana.

This is a reality that is known to everybody so stop being a fool and get rid of ignorance making you look like a fool.

Foolish smelly LovePeddler
My friend, there is no such thing as stupid or dumb argument in a discussion.... there is always a iota of true in each party, so please enough with the abusive language... we are all here to relax and learn.

Furthermore, I just went through Akorkor 's profile. There is nothing there to suggest she is a lovePeddler as indicated by your post. ( you have edited the post afterwards).
Where did you get your facts from? Does it mean anyone who isn't in alignment with your chain of thought is a lovePeddler?

Anyway, let us not derail this thread and keep it accessible to everyone by avoiding the strong language

I am always shocked each time I read words like idiot, stupid or foolish on some threads.

Do you know that this thread could be used as an interesting topic of an academic essay?

Would you use words like stupid or idiot in an academic essay?

Speaking of being an idiot or a fool, this is something I have learned long ago:

Someone may be an idiot or stupid for not seeing the world under your perception. Conversely, you may be the one who is idiot or stupid for not seeing the world under their perception.

Interresting topic by the way. Please keep the rating to G as in General Audience. And don't escalate the rating to R as in Restricted. The rating is based on the words that are been used.

Lol yes , everybody and their mama don turn to immigration lawyer. Unless one has a complicated case like deportation , one should try to file by yourself. All you need is basic reading and writing skills . Most of the information you need is on the USCIS website . Very true

Has that child ever spent a day in the OP’s house since he married her mother? So where will the child find the time to spend holiday with her mum and younger siblings genius? OP has been married to the woman for at least 4yrs. A mother that can leave her toddler and agree to the OP’s terms is no angel.
Nothing in his post indicates whether or not the child has never spent time in Op's house.

In essence I can summarize op's post as follows:

When op first met his wife, she had already a child. And op was aware of the existence of the child who was living with the biological father.

The biological father is now married. Given this fact, the biological father wants op's wife to have custody of the child who is now 7 to op's objection.

The fact is OP’s wife is an irresponsible mother. She abandoned her child with the father so that she can get married. In fact she married a man that did not want to see her child or love her child! 7yrs! A mother left her child with the father for 7yrs! Not even a holiday with her child. She had had 7yrs of not being bothered by the child’s presence in her matrimonial home. Don’t you think her baby daddy also deserves that courtesy she enjoyed as well as a newly married man? Or you think his wife did not observe that her own mother saw her as an inconvenience and is enjoying her life like the daughter does not exist.
Com'on...
From op' s post, op's wife left the child with the biological father. This doesn't neccessary mean op's wife never saw or spent time with the child again. Where did you get that from? How did you come to the conclusion she never spent a holiday with the child?

This is really a complicated issue as some people said you should adopt the child. How can you adopt a child that is not thrown away? Did the father said he does not want the child again? so what will be the basis for adoption?

You have only two options:
(1) Accept the child and be ready to be fair and you should know that it will involve school fees. And be ready to tolerate the fact that the father will always request to see the child once in a while.

(2) If you know that you may not be fair or you wont be able to take the burden of school fees when the need arises, please reject. It is better than keep a child that will grow up to hate u.
One of the best advises on the thread.
