BUNOR84:How about Atiku who want to divide Nigeria along ethnic line. A Fulani man planning to take over from his Fulani bro. |
If England eventually loose this match, that referee is in soup |
Incredible!what a game, what a spirit, what a commitment. I never gave them a chance against the creative Portuguese side but they stunt them. They did it,a record is broken and another one is out. Congrats the Atlas lion, congrats Africa, congrats Abouklal. I just can't imagine what would happen to Aboukhlal if Morocco loose the match with that injury time miss |

I think Africa should forget about winning the world cup for now. We should go back to drawing board and draw out our lost identity. Playing European style of football cannot give us the the world cup glory especially the west Africans who are naturally slow and lack the basics. Majority of African players started playing football in the street with no proper soccer education, we relied on naturally talent and skills whereas the European teach the ward the basics right from infants. With my little understanding of the round leather game I believe africa can conquer the world if we develop our robust, compact and dribbling model of football that is built on our strength. We can't copy their style and beat them to it. We can only try. The system of passing the ball around, marking of space instead of man and crossing of ball to the opponent box with precision is beyond us. If you watch Cameroon in Italia 90,Nigeria in USA 94,Atlanta 96 and Senegal in Japan Korea you will agree with me that our model of soccer is not only superb but also entertaining. If African countries can build a standard academy with world class facilities and employe former african international and trainer I believe Africa will shake the world of soccer. Sending our boys to Europe at 16yrs where they would be taught to kick ball around to keep the flow, when they have not fully discovered themselve is killing their talent. Remember John Obi Mikel,Haruna Ibrahim,Rabiu Ibrahim and many other players like them at under 17 and 20. Its not too late to start,we have all it takes to rule the world of soccer.RISE UP AFRICA |
2blessed01:Lol. Obi is another Jonathan in making they are gud in identifying the prob but no solution |
U over-react,if it is ur bro that raped ur daughter are u going to arrest urself? With this ur reaction I can't blame ur wife cos if the told u, u would behead her. Her only fault is she told a stranger while keeping it away from u. I can assure u that no matter how painful this case is to u,she is passing through a more severe pain. Infact her own is trauma. My bro u arrested the wrong person and add to her pain. On the issue of divorce,I don't know ur compatibility b4 this case but if she is the type u can give like 65 and above mark pls don't allow that nonoentity to separate u. Though this is a very complicated family issue but ur strength as a man is put to test here. My advise for u is to keep it wife if and only if she is good. Don't allow ur daughter to move an inch close to her family again and that boy should stay far away from ur home. Her other siblings can later be welcome but there should be a room for them to sleep no matter the condition. Her mum,u can't stop her from coming to ur house but she should stay away from ur sight till the tension is doused. Please go and bail ur wife |

This could be an eye opener for me cos I can operate one sophisticated equipment and show no interest in other equipments |
robosky02:U did not get my point beside I am not against good program like that but telling us that two years talent hunt is the engine driving Morocco success at this world cup is a big falacity. How many of hose guys are 19,20,21 yrs of age. The ihianacho,Isaac success, ndidi and co were discovered in 2013/2014,do the calculation and tell me how many yrs now |
owobokiri:Did u believe that trash. Imaging somebody relating to years football development to a world cup success. Isn't that a joke. |
This is nothing but magic. Nothing we r not going to see because Morocco qualify for quarter final now. Imagine somebody tagging two yrs talent development to a world cup success. Is it that simple? How about Qatar of over 10yrs prep. Perhaps it was professor Phela that handle their development. Nonsense. This a stroll down the memory lane of what the Royal Moroccan Football Federation have done to now be reaping the reward here in Qatar. In July 2022, Morocco hosted a FIFA Talent Development Scheme workshop as part of the Talent Development Plan launched by FIFA’s Chief of Global Football Development Arsene Wenger in 2020 |
Senegal should try and defend, they should not disgrace Africa by conceding more. Until we stopped playing european style of football and develop our robust and compact kind of soccer we will continue to fail at world cup |
Very balance fixture. That Morocco vs Spain match will be very entertaining |
Devil1Messenger:Those r the the highest donors. Read the post again |
nazicartel:Smile.no b play we dey play |
Dshocker:Same thing applies to Christians in the south. They are also extremist, the only difference is ;they av not graduated to physical attack but verbal? Osama bin laden was a learner in their midst |
nazicartel:U meant Obi and LP r Buhari pro max...appointments and other engagements would come from a particular state and region to avoid drama like this. Fact: if u can't win ppl loyalty regard less of their ethnicity and religious believe, u r not fit to rule a nation like Nigeria. Obi should go and queue behind Fashola,Fayemi,El-rufai,Oshiomole,kalu.... learn the game of politics under the tutelage of Asiwaju and come back to run for presidency. |
ujunwaobimdi:Yes this is a gud idea but in this case it can't work. Ppl in that village r member of one bandit group or the other. Plan to buy weapons will not work cos of informants within them. |
abeloponmzy:Lol. Perhaps I should put it this way. If Madrid meet Eyimba at club world cup do u think Madrid will line up their multi million euro first eleven against a lowly rated African side. Oh!that reminds me of keyamo saying they will send one of their spoke person to debate with him. |
ganisucks:Just the same way they copied labour party manifesto |
Spiff20:U don't get it. Its like Eyimba inviting real Madrid for a friendly match. Either loose or win Eyimba has nothing to loose but Madrid ego may be affected not to talking of breaking legs that worth millions of pounds with eyimba amateur tackle. Now do u understand |
Wow! Kolo Toure has set a new record in England. He became the first African to coach a first team in England by signing a three-and -a-half years deal with wigan. Congratulations to one of the African finest defender. According to bbc.com/sport.The 41-year-old replaces Leam Richardson after he was sacked by the Championship club earlier this month. The Ivorian has spent the past five years coaching at Celtic and Leicester City under Brendan Rodgers but this is his first role in management. Toure's first game in charge will be the trip to Millwall on 10 December. Wigan are 22nd in the table, but won their last game against Blackpool before the break for the World Cup. "We are delighted that Kolo has become the new manager of Wigan Athletic Football Club, and the board are pleased that he is the man to take us forward," chief executive Malachy Brannigan told the club website. "We received a high calibre of applicants for the manager's job in recent weeks, in a very thorough recruitment process as we looked to appoint the right person for the role. "From the earliest of conversations we had with Kolo, it was evident to us that he had instantly bought into the values of the club - with his enthusiasm, knowledge and immense desire to work and be part of Wigan Athletic shining throughout the process." Wigan sacked Richardson after a return of one point from seven Championship matches, having only given him a new three-year contract on 25 October following their League One title in his first full season in charge in 2021-22. Toure's younger brother, Yaya, who is coaching at Tottenham, had ruled himself out of contention for the Latics role two weeks ago. Toure was part of the Arsenal's 'Invincibles' side which won Premier League undefeated in 2003-04 and also won the title with Manchester City. He ended his playing career with Scottish giants Celtic, helping them claim the Premiership title without losing a match in the 2016-17 season before retiring to join their coaching staff in September that year. Rob Kelly, who had been in caretaker charge since Richardson's exit, will stay on as assistant and former Crawley boss Kevin Betsy and Foxes coach Ashvir Johal have also joined his coaching staff. It's an exciting appointment for Wigan but perhaps one that creates an edge of nervousness due to the element of the unknown. Kolo Toure clearly feels this is the right opportunity for him. After previously completing his coaching badges and spending the past five years as the right hand man for Brendan Rodgers he's now decided this is the right time and right job for him. I believe his playing days under Arsene Wenger, Roberto Mancini and later working with Rodgers gives him a grounding for playing football in an attractive way - something that I also believe appealed to the Wigan board. But, as stated, there's the unknown. Toure has never played or managed in the Championship and now needs to lift a group of players out of form and in the relegation zone of the division

Oyetola made him vengeful and bitter....the vengeance got the best of him and he gladly but his leg into the trap set by the bitter former gov. Senate should pass a law to stop an outgoing gov from employing six months to the expiration of their tenure . Also they should not conduct local govt election 18months to the end of their tenure. |
OPICANTO2223:U r not a bigot but tribalism has claimed ur sense of reasoning. Can't u see everyone as Nigerians. Why did u always talk about tribe.....guy u need to grow and wise up. We r all human regardless of ur race or religion. |
OPICANTO2223:Imagine this from a bigot tribe. |
OPICANTO2223:Lol. U know in ur mind that u can't compare Oyetola who is an insurance graduate with ur Obi who studied philosophy. U can even see the difference with the way he incredibly increased a poor Osun state IGR. Just imagine him govern Anambra for just 12months. Why bringing Okonjo name into this matter? |
OPICANTO2223:This man performed far better than Obi who could not increase Anambra IGR for over 4yrs. Oyetola increased osun IGR by 97% within 14months..,..pls look else where for Obi's mate. |
adubam:.which state? |
Capernum:Wow congrats u r not alone. Hope u r not contemplating on suicide like him. Perhaps she is the one feeding u. Mtchew women every where |
shortgun:Guy u must be a genius. Imagine the mugu, contemplating on suicide when he has a choice of sending his husband, sorry problematic wife away |
Wow! That is my secondary sch. I could rem playing on the eroded, bumpy field of urban Day in the 90s . God bless u honourable for giving UDGS student the opportunity to play on a standard pitch. |
Obinoscopy:First and 6th points r invalid. Gov Rashidi Ladoja of Oyo state was the first gov to challenged his impeachment in court and won. Not only that Gov Olusegun Mimiko of labour party is the only person to win govnorship election with labour party |
