Ok. I’ll check it out at the start of the work week. All the best. Oluwademilade: |
Send CV to this email: tohrfactory@gmail.com Title it “Application for Role of Analyst”. Let me know when you’ve sent and I’ll get back to you. Cheers Phemz: |
I have two roles requiring a flexible hybrid of remote and onsite work. One is for Business Development Manager with a good understanding of content marketing (5-7 years experience) . The other is for a more junior role of Analyst (2-3 years experience). It’s in a management consulting outfit located in Mainland Lagos. Kennedy97: |
He needs an intervention. Contrary to Nigeria’s 18-35 , a youth according to UNICEF is 10-24. He is no longer a child. Stop babying Him the way Nigerian Leaders are babying people even above 35, which is why we are so stunted in our growth. You people need to let Him know that He is now responsible for His life and will wash your hands off any responsibility for Him. However, if He is willing to make a change for the mutual benefit of everyone, especially Mummy, your doors are always open . Until then, assist Him to move out of the House with immediate effect. And be ready to make your peace with whatever actions He takes and the consequences thereof. passionguy: |
You are right. However I am talking about the value one can get from the chosen role. Even before analytics became a thing, the analysts role is a lower level role, especially within the consulting structure. And their value is being eroded by the capacity of AI to perform some of the routine and repetitive tasks they were previously needed to do. “Analyst” sounds nice to the inexperienced (<3 years) but in a world where analytical skills are becoming a minimum requirement and to those with deep and wide work experience, “analysts” are seen as junior positions performing routine tasks like imputing data into a spreadsheet. Even a very smart graduate or undergraduate should be able to perform the tasks of an analyst. So how much value do you think an analyst will be able to command in a few years as compared to someone who uses analytics to add value to business decisions ? Please read up on the roles, responsibilities , remuneration and career prospects of business analysts, then make up your own mind. Tats: |
When will the FCT minister ban open grazing (and related cattle matters) like His Governor colleagues in the South and now the North are doing.?? Oh, I remember now. He was hired for His “holiness” and not His competence. infoxpress: |
When will the minister of the Federal Capital Territory ban open grazing and related activities like His Governor colleagues in the South and now North are doing? infoxpress: |
How unrealistic and impractical can a citizen, talk less of a party member or Leader be? He should propose three igbo names from the ruling APC first, then we will know whether He has seriously considered the practicality of His proposal. nairavsdollars: |
Even before COVID , there was remote work. After COVID, remote working has increased significantly. The organization i consulted for in 2020 went remote 2 weeks before the first COVID lockdown. My Wife’s office with over 300 staff have been working mostly remotely in the last two months. A long term client of mine just began a hybrid of office and remote working, not so much for COVID but as a strategy for better managing leaner resources. So, the answer to your question is Yes! Nigerian companies (and multinational companies in Nigeria) have spaces for workers to work remotely. Cheers. Kennedy97: |
Definition of “Mansplaining”: It refers to a Man, explaining (something) to someone, typically a woman, in a manner regarded as condescending or patronizing. Newboss: |

If this is true، then your Father, Brothers, Uncles, GrandFathers, Grand Uncles and all your male relations are useless. Onyi22: |
The world is moving from Business Analysis to Business Analytics due to the infiuence of Big Data, AI & Machine Learning. That would be more relevant in the coming years. Better to do an MBA with a specialization as business analysis is a very small part of that. Avoid picking courses because they sound nice. See if they fit with your innate talent , passion and what the market is demanding. I wish you all the best Vipro: |
So sad but true! Kennedy00007: |
I initially thought She was Uhrhobo or Isoko from Delta as in “Warri” but don’t worry, I confirmed Her state of Origin before I made my comment. I try to speak based on facts and am always ready to take correction if I get my facts wrong. gentlegiant95: |
I didn’t say She was not Efik, I said She was not calabar cos the info I saw said Akwa Ibom State and I know Calabar is in Cross River State . gentlegiant95: |
Same difference. Calabar was used by the initial poster as a group I.e tribe of people not location or city. gentlegiant95: |
2nd September, 2021 RE: REPENTANT TERRORISTS Dear DHQ, can we please get 1. Names of the 5890 “repentant terrorists” 2. Their Nationalities 3. Their States of Origin- if Nigerian 4. Levels of involvement in terrorism- e.g Leader, Manager or Foot soldier 5. Relevant l Laws guiding the crimes for which they are repenting 6. Relevant Sanctions for the crimes of which they are repenting. 7. Reasonable explanations to the victims & millions of IDPs as to why/how the so called “repentant terrorists” are being pardoned 8. The method by which DHQ distinguishes between true and fake repentant terrorists who have killed both civilians & Nigerian soldiers. Yours sincerely, A very concerned Nigerian ogododo: |
I don’t watch BBNaija (no time for that) and don’t know much beyond the headlines I read on sites like Nairaland: But I think this also qualifies as the type of highlight Tega was alluding to , the type that She can do since instead of the kind She can’t do as a married Woman. AbujaAgent: |
Well this bbc article says she’s from Akwa Ibom https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.bbc.com/pidgin/tori-58407313.amp. Also Calabar is not the only tribe in cross river, in case you don’t know. However, I am open to conceding on my first point but not my last two.

|
You’re ignorant for saying this kind of thing. First of all Tega is not Calabar, so your comment lacks relevance to the subject matter. Furthermore, your statement that ALL of them are ‘Ashawos”’ is fallacious and not based on any factual evidence but your very limited and stereo-typed experience. Finally, how do you account for all the Hausa, Igbos, Yorubas, Edos etc. doing ashawo all over the country and beyond. Italy, Dubai e.t.c except of course you are ignorant about these as well. Odiriance4all: |
Foolish Woman, so She equates highlights with sexual immorality and breaking marriage vows? I thought She will have sense as a Warri girl. Shame. jmobile: |
A very unhealthy practice indeed. And most unhealthy when they start having kids. 9gerian: |
Until many years after, “when God touches Her heart” … Why are we so quick to disturb God for things He has already put in our hands. It is the Husband that needs to reach and touch His wives Heart. He should pray to God for Wisdom. JovialJune: |
She is the only one that can answer that question. But I think She wants something from you that She thought would come When you guys get married and she is not getting it. Vabama: |
Yeah. When we angle for such decisions we need to think off alternative solutions not just complaints or knee jerk reactions. Otherwise, we may find ourselves in a worse of situation. chiedu7: |
If the head is sick , the body will be sick. Nigeria is sick because of the sick heads at the top. Meanwhile, Katsina state , which happens to be Mbuhari’s state, is ranked second highest for out-of-school children in Nigeria, so don’t be surprised that there was no one in the entire government house that could correct the errors in that letter. Not even the Chief Press Secretary. SMH dre11: |
Trump supporter spotted! He will never be impeached like your former President. Fahdiga: |

As an employer, I refer to my employees as colleagues and working “with” not “for” me. This is a healthier attitude to have towards working relations as everyone ought to be bringing something to the table. I prefer to work FOR people who see me as working WITH them. Mkpotu: |
