milaso:Lampard is coaching Derby, who are in the Championship. Not exactly top division football. Gerrard is coaching Rangers...in the Scottish Premiership(which, sorry to say, is not at the level of English Premiership. All the clubs there, apart from Rangers and Celtic are useless so to speak.). |
SEONaijaExpert:Henry was a valued coach with the Belgium setup...he worked with their strikers directly. |
femi4:Fabregas is almost at retirement age. |
Rayd502:His problems too were complicated by injuries to key players...PLUS..Monaco sold off one of their star players just as he was arriving. Gerrard is doing well...though with Rangers...a big club in a small league. The Scottish league is like the English league 1, with two Premiership clubs (Rangers and Celtic)...and two Championship clubs (Hearts, Aberdeen). Lampard is coaching Derby...championship club. Not premier league level yet. |

sage101:The only multimillionaire in the betting game are the owners of the betting scams. Actual players, who I was talking about, never become that wealthy by playing betting. |
sage101:Yes, all betting sites are there for the purposes of separating you from your money. I would rather clean toilets for a living and earn legit cash than go and do bet9ja, surebet, kingbet, etc and waste my time and money. Did anybody become a multimillionaire by playing bet? |
Adebowhales:Stop wasting your time and money on betting sites. All of them na SCAM, even the legit sites |
Globalbet004:Is your father and brother among your subscribers so that we can know if it is legit? |
Angelb4:There is thread for that. |
crafteck:How did you know she did olosho? Please don't tell lies |
Agata01:Are your brother and father among your subscribers? |
Unfortunately the guy is right What even makes it more painful is that Nigerians grumble all day about hardship, and about PDP and APC, but on election day, they go back to APC and PDP. Better the devil they know than the angelic beings they do not know. Another thing. If Moghalu, Sowore or Durotoye win, the National Assembly won't let them make any difference at all. They would be frustrated out. |
28 gubernatorial candidates. No wonder opposition parties have issues winning sometimes |
naptu2:Heard this song so many times...did not know the singer. Thanks...and RIP to Mr Oliver Mtukudzi |
Pat4321: Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE) on Tuesday in Abuja formally signed the concession for Terminal ‘B’ Warri Old Port with Ocean & Cargo Terminal Services Limited.. Sauce Honestly, I tire for some of you Nigerians. Even if na FUlani...we suppose focus on whether they are qualifed, not whether they are from the right tribe. |
TooMuchStuff:Who told you the concessionaire is a Fulani? For all we know...the chap might be a Southerner. The concession signing ceremony was witnessed by the Executive Vice Chairman/CEO of Sifax, Dr. Taiwo Afolabi; the CEO of Blueche Lomado, Jolomi Igbene; and the Managing Director of Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Hadiza Bala Usman. The owners are Southerners. Next time...use Google... Sauce FURTHER MODIFICATION: Owner of Sifax, one of the onwers of the company Dr. Taiwo Olayinka AfolabiI am sad that we get too many bigots in this country. One day, we are going to put an end to bigotry in our Africa. |
kernel001:Our forex needs in 1999 were less than in 2019. Add the fact that our population was also much less... Also,I should stress times were hard back then, before 2003...when oil started going up again, and when things got stable enough. Plus, OBJ was a saver. Do I need to remind you that Buhari, hiked fuel price in excess of N58, since Nigerians consumes 40 million liters per day, it means he was making extra 3 billion Naira. What has he done with all that?1.Fuel prices were hiked in 2016 because the landing cost of fuel was N132, while we were selling it at N87. Buhari raised prices to N145, ending subsidy and that was how things were until landing costs passed N145 ,meaning subsidy was reinstated...and NNPC was paid the difference between N145 and the landing cost (N190 now). 2.Also,government does not earn money from fuel sales. NNPC and the marketers do...government pays subsidy to NNPC, nowadays the sole importer of fuel to keepprices at N145(SEE no 1). But the money only makes up for the difference between N145 and the landing cost of N190...meaning NNPC is essentially selling fuel to marketers as a loss. 3.If Bubu had not raised prices....government would have been paying far more in subsidy claims...to the point that we would have become broke. See Venezuela. Secondly, if PDP was responsible for recession during Buhari’s administration, who caused the first as head of state? In 1982, when the late Shagari was in charge, oil prices crashed from $32 TO $9..ending 9 years of high oil prices since the OPEC hikeof 1973 in response to the Yom Kippur War.. That plus a host of other bad economic practices under Shagari and the final chapter of the collapse of our agric sector (began in the 1970...complete by 1982...when the last groundnut pyramid fell)..led to a recession, and a 'failed' attempt at austerity polices instituted in 1983 by Shagari. By the time Bubu took over in December 1983...the recession was underway. Oil prices did not go up until 1991...the Gulf oil windfall (by then Bubu was out of power). So, the polices of the Shagari government caused the recession Bubu inherited. |
In 19th century England...people used to dress up their dead loved ones and take a photo. The reason was that photos were costly then...so since no time to take photo when person was alive...do it quickly when dead. Post morterm photos... Prime example below The woman in the middle is dead Sauce : Victorian post morterm photos https://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2013/10/09/article-2450832-189DD02100000578-575_964x685.jpg |
MrAJQ:The project was started under GEJ admin, and the same administration also helped with securing some of the loans |
helinues:exactly. I heard rumor that Dangote originally wanted to start his refinery in the Delta, but volatility I agree that Niger delta has suffered, but after a while bombing in the name of agitation is counterproductive |
chiedu7:It starts by voting in good governors, ending all this bombing of pipeline and kidnapping, and focusing on technical education |
Niorte:Meanwhile, your lord and saviour Atiku is over 70 years of age. And has an OND, and is not a professor. People like Moghalu and Ezekwesili that have degrees galore, when we bring them, you people will tell us to go away. |
Investment is failing because 1.Oil prices have fallen, thus no flowing of cash, especially as we are dependent on oil, no investor wants to come 2.Corruption, which is made worse by Nigerians refusing to chase out the corrupt. See Gandollars and his defenders, among many others. 3.Subsidies. Govt subsidizing certain sectors like fuel means no one wants to invest in Nigerian petroleum sector because subsidies means you don't earn profits. 4.Poor forex policy. In my opinion, there should be favored forex status for manufacturers. Give manufacturing 200 naira to one dollar 5.Security. Boko has been chased back, but still a threat. Then there is the Fulani herdsmen crisis 6. Poor transportation sector 7.Poor power sector made worse by low bills, Nigerians not paying their bills for power, government agencies too not paying bills. 8. Greedy Nigerians who demand to be compensated for anything like building roads through their villages . 9.Poorly funded technical education sector. It is the technical people who builds up any economy. Not office workers |
Hmm that's good....but know that once you vote them, they have to recoup costs...... |
obailala:That's the truth. Unfortunately, Nigerians do not judge economic progress by 'facts and figures'...instead it is by 'how much money they have in their pocket'. The fact is, our economy has been badly managed for years. We are hooked up to oil. And when oil goes up, our economy goes up...when it goes down, down goes our economy. If the oil price was high from the day Buhari took over...like $100 perbarrel...many people would think that the economy was working.Yes it is...with a big vulnerability. |
sammyj:Ideally, we'd all vote out PDP and APC and bring in new guys... Unfortunately, most Nigerians love APC and PDP. Most Nigerians don't want angelic beings they don't know. |
AllenSpencer:Erm, where is the source of the news that Obasanjo will buy NNPC if Atiku wins? |
ClearFlair:I agree with you except for the bit that Buhari holds the answers. Thing is, APC did do some bad things like keeping the fuel subsidy. |
