AdeMoss:Lol. You're arguing with someone who was in the system for many years. STFU. Branch manager don't mean anything, many junior people are branch managers. Also, did you comprehend what I said about Access bank? Read carefully to understand not to retort. Have a great week. |
The only thing I'd say is that you should look inward for a career you want to go into, something you have passion for and follow it through. You can start small, or working in a small org. and grow your career from there. Do not go into banking just cos you need a job, you will be frustrated with the stagnation and lack of career growth cos the industry is messed up today. Are you prepared to work 6 - 7 days a week and get maybe one promotion in 8 years? Access bank is particularly notorious for their very poor work culture and stressful working conditions. If you must go into banking, have a plan to save funds aggressively towards leaving naija for further education. This is coming from someone who's been there and done that. |
Lent a supposed friend money not knowing the guy don turn scammer. Na change, 20K, but e pain me die cos at that time I really couldn't afford lending anyone money due to existing plans. Another one was when I gave someone my apartment to do his child naming ceremony. A few days later when we had a small misunderstanding I saw him for who he really was, nothing wey he no tell me, say I dey fell like god say I dey useless and all. Very painful incidents. Many more I won't wnt to start typing here. But I honestly do not regret helping anyone. I do it cos it's my personality, I love to help people in need. It was just painful at the time but it never affected me in any way instead, I keep getting blessed by the Almighty. I continue to help out till today without minding that humans can be ungrateful. |
Are we sure the Buhari you people voted for is still intact? How come every statement is now from presidency and he has not had a live chat with the media in about 5 years now? Who is the presidency? |
Samfloxin:How did God reveal the problem and what was it? Not yet married, just curious. |
SmartPolician:First quality anybody you call a leader must have is empathy. You people are already shopping for the next strongman after Buhari ehn? Una no dey ever learn. 32 years to go in the wilderness be that. |
kunle75:You are really don't know what's happening, do some fxcking research! He has retrenched workers for a few years and refused to pay them their entitlements. You are here waiting for the governor to make it public? Are you joking? Kaduna people have been crying out about this and you say it is pre-emptive? Please before commenting on public issues do some findings so you don't sound stupid on a public forum. Enjoy your weekend. |
kunle75:Ignorance means not having enough knowledge/information on the issue at hand. If you see it as an insult you are on your own. Do you understand what labour laws say on retrenchment of workers? Nobody says a governor should not prune the civil service, but follow due process and pay people what they are entitled to. Stop encouraging lawlessness and tyranny, that's what got us in the current mess we're in. It's like you people enjoy suffering and highhandedness. Una go still spend many more years for wilderness be that. |
kunle75:You are obviously ignorant of the issue at hand. What useless mentality are you talking of? That retrenched workers should not be paid their entitlements as stipulated by the labour laws? ![]() |
AnanseK:Any issue, first thing you people scream is hate, meanwhile we know those whose bile is filled with hate and who have been killing their fellow countrymen for all sorts of flimsy excuses ranging from cartoons to beauty pageants to electoral loss. On the Hell Rufai issue, nobody is saying you can't downsize, but follow due procedures and pay the exited workers their entitlements. But the governor has adamantly refused to follow due process. Why? This support for strongmen you guys keep doing, seems you never learnt from the case of the current callous and aloof president? Una go still tey for wilderness be that o. |
Can Helinues and the other BBQ guy explain why neither the GCFR nor the vice president felt it important to attend this burial? Is something not amiss to you people? You can still support your party with a little bit of brain and conscience you know. |
YoungLionken:Everyone hates Nigerian military and Police for their wickedness and injustice. Better stop this Igbo-baiting you people always try to do in every situation. Stop it or face the wrath of God. We are God's own people. |
SaintUlot:O boy face your gift cards business and leave matters you don't have interest in or have no idea of. And a little advise, you'd be much better informed if you read beyond headlines and do some research before commenting on anything. China's ban on crypto is not new. They banned it few years ago and the recent news item is just a reiteration, a reemphasis on the previous ban. https://www.reuters.com/world/china/what-beijings-new-crackdown-means-crypto-china-2021-05-19/ Cheers. |
PataAlhajaKeji:Lmao. Anybody who invests in something they haven't taken their time to research about or under guidance of OGs in the game is most liley gonna lose money. Same thing with stocks and forex. Nothing new there. From your post you definitely know next to nothing about the cryptocurrency market or trading. And FYI, it is not the first time China or anyone else is creating FUD in the market. And for experienced hands, this blowback was expected and indicated by TA of the charts, Elon Musk or not. You're just talking about what you don't know man. Like I said, people like you will be the ones we'll be shilling our million dollar bags on in the nearest future. HFSP. |
PataAlhajaKeji:The biggest financial revolution is happening before your very eyes and all you can do is snicker and taunt people who have already made lots of money from it? Have fun staying poor man ![]() |
PataAlhajaKeji:The good thing is that people like you will eventually see the light but by then we'll be the ones dumping our bags on you ![]() |
A family is thrown into bereavement just because of the wickedness of a godforsaken soldier. It's actually very terrible that things like this continue to happen and most of the times the victims never get justice. Nigeria is beyond redemption as a country. As for the soldiers that had a hand in this, may all his family members reap the rewards of his wickedness. Amen. |
DEMZEE:They're not the prize but you have to pay bride price? Let's stick to the African culture here cos it's the major culture that can even remotely offer support to your 'red pill' theories. |
JESHAL:Even in those historical civilizations, men still had to ask for the ladies' hands in marriage? Had to pay bride price? My grandfather married 6 wives, but he paid their bride prices and carefully picked women of value as wives. So cut the stuff about sexual value and get to the chase. Who's the prize actually? Especially as we have to even commit our funds/goods by the way of bride price to secure their loyalty. You don't wan to face the fact staring you in the face huh. |
DEMZEE:If she isn't a prize to be won, why do you want her exclusively to yourself? Just answer the question, skip all the fundamentally not equal thing. |
PissfulProtester:You want to do quota system in football too? ![]() Quota system is why Nigeria has been regressing on all indices since the 80s. The country can never ever move forward unless only the best hands are employed in all government agencies and not all the empty beneficiaries of quota system employed in those agencies who are only concerned about how to loot the national treasury effectively. . |
DEMZEE:From your line of thinking, you seem to be a young chap who hasn't experienced much in this thing called life. So if men are the prize, why is it a man that has to ask a woman to marry him? Remember that a man asking a particular woman to marry him means he sees her as a worthy partner out of all the ladies he's ever met up till that point. |
Spiff20:Many a men have quit smoking, gambling, heavy drinking and similar vices for the sake of love (or to put it in another way, so they do not lose their partner). So I put it to you that your view is incorrect, or very limited. |
Dailymice:First, a black person cannot be racist. Second, if you know how deep the effects of slavery is in the world today, you will not be saying this. The Europeans dehumanised us and continue to do so today, albeit in a systemic way. There's a reason why most European countries have criminalized racism. I don't understand why you're bringing in identity politics here, that's a different matter altogether. Do you tell Jews to stop talking about the holocaust? Get a grip on yourself! |
yusufu16:Sheikh Gumi unequivocally stated that the govt knows where the bandits are. So they actually do but will not do anything to harm them cos they are Fulanis. Nigerians need to wake up before these people overrun the country before our very eyes. |
![]() Is this supposed to be a joke? Sweet Jeezus! Many are mad but few are roaming. |
ezechi24:Very correct. Including the daft intellectuals and pastors like Soyinka and Adeboye respectively, and all the overzealous southern useful idiots. |
Why there is no outrage by now in the country is baffling. How come the president, if we still have one, has never bothered to do a live media session in the past 5 years? Who the hell is this presidency? Nigerians una sorry ehn. Thank God I've left that hellhole. My entirely family go dey move come here one by one cos the useless citizens are not ready to fight for the country and Igbos cannot do it alone. Nigerians, please wake up. There is a sinister plan to hand your country over to janjawe.ed mara.uders from Futajalon. Your fate is in your hands. |
Immediately Buhari became president, he cancelled the contract we had with the mercenaries that were seriously decimating boko haram at the time, for reasons best known to him. Now we're begging for help everywhere. Same way he canceled Safe Schools Initiative, Youwin program, PTDF scholarships and even tried to stop payment to Niger Deltans. Such a moronic president who acts without thinking. To him everything is force. Until Nigeria focuses on Human Capital Development initiatives, all the railway and bridges and roads will not mean anything. With inflation chasing 30%, unemployment chasing 50% of the nation's workforce and insecurity and terrorism at an all-time high, all this focus on infrastructure means nada. Such a hopeless govt we have in place. God save Nigeria |
The way the media is even reporting these kidnappings as if it hasn't been happening before. We know the game plan... According to the asslicking bastard called Garbage Shehu. The country is finished o. |
jojomario:That is Tinubu's legacy in Lagos. He empowered thugs to the extent that they have become even more powerful than police. The ogas are building houses and hotels yearly. They are Tinubu's foot soldiers ready to die for him. Reason why no other party can contest for anything in lagos without threats to their life. And some morons are angling Tinubu for president. Aren't we finished? |
