According to one army general, if they repent tomorrow, bandits can even become president of Nigeria.

According to Sheikh Gumi, the bandits are just misguided and unhappy with how Nigeria has been killing them. They need to be forgiven and re-integrated into society.

According to Shehu Garba, it is in the past and what you people are doing now is cancel culture.

Is Nigeria not finished at this point?

You Southern useful idiots better wake up o.

The useless Defense minister in threatening everyone.

He really thinks Amotekun and ESN are threats to the country when the country cannot guarantee safety of citizens' lives and properties?

These bastards in the military actually see themselves as lords over us as against them being our employees.

So just a few soldiers killed by civilians and they are this livid? A few policemen and soldiers killed by UGM and they can't take it?

Now imagine how people of Odi, Zaki Biam, Shiites in Kaduna, peaceful IPOB members in Anambra and Abia; all feel. A taste of you people's murderous medicine and you can't stand it?

Abeg we need to split this country, can't have a military and police force that is proud of killing its own people threatening me when I defend myself, after the same fools have failed to protect me.

These spoilt brats are all over the South. So shut up,I know what I'm saying, these little ones must be corrected. You breed prostitutes in the south.

Honestly there is something which have been bothering me,I happen to hustle in a Jamb lecture centre where I teach Jambites and others somewhere in South Nigeria, they way these teenagers dresses is very abusive and hot.

They seduce their male teachers and I don't blame them.
these girls dresses like prostitutes to lecture centre. I have complained to my boss several times, but he said he is after his money.
pls parents help your children.
So dressing hot is now to seduce teachers?

Seems you've never lived outside the north before with such backward thinking. If you come go Europe or America during summer wetin you go talk?

You sound like a timid girl who is feeling intimidated by what teenagers are putting on.

Better focus on your work and stop trying to form moral police when you're probably worse than those teenagers you've already condemned.

One group of people in (southern) Nigeria I will always feel sorry for are the folks with N250M houses and Range Rovers and N23M in the bank who think that these things make them part of Nigeria's establishment.

I'll always be thankful to my dad for disabusing me of such notions

It is possible to live in the same neighbourhoods, eat in the same restaurants, attend the same schools, fly to the same destinations and have the same social graces as the owners of Nigeria, without ever being close to being one of them.

So many of us do not understand this.

In my lifetime, I've seen so many of said southerners rise and fall, all the while desperately keeping up appearances while the ground under their feet gives way, all the while not understanding what was happening and why.

The establishment is small. It is ethnic. It is filial.

If you understand what Nigeria is and accept it, you will be under no illusions. IBB did not liberalise some sectors of the economy and give out mining and trade licensing favours to benefit southerners so that we could later challenge his children.

Know this and have peace.

The establishment - the real establishment, not the 55 year-old drinking clubs in Lagos - understands the concept of controlling people by giving them something to lose.

You're not one of them because you have those things. They simply *let* you have them. As long as you behave.

The day M.K.O. Abiola stopped playing ball, the establishment had no more use for him and it mothballed him in prison to the end of his life, and machine gunned his wife.

The establishment is small. It is ethnic. It is filial.

You will never be part of it.

Nigeria must disintegrate for Everyone to find its true path.

Because they are smarter than Igbos, and understand when the decks are stacked against them, thus not losing 2 million Yoruba lives needlessly in conflict for instance.

Learn from them, strategize and use your sense.
Of course it's easy to say this when tens of thousands of Yorubas have never been mass-murdered, with even the military and police joining in the killing spree.

You have never had to bear the brunt of Hausa/Fulani deep-seated hatred so you gleefully taunt the Igbos with the genocide masqueraded as civil war.

Good thing is that those you mock have come back much stronger, and Nigeria knows for sure that it cannot repeat such nonsense with them.

Keep strategizing until they take over Yoruba land just like they did with Ilorin.

Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will soon have a violent one on their hands.

You honestly believe UN or UK will give you Oduduwa nation with a stroke of the pen?

You honestly believe the Fulani hegemony will agree to ever split Nigeria - a country they see as Uthman Dan Fodio's heritage to them?

You see, the kind of education we have in this part of the world confers some sort of foolish arrogance and idealistic naivete that is shocking to say the least.

I refer you once again, to my first sentence.

As much as this sounds cliche, Love is never enough hun.

A lot of unforeseen events come into play during marriage and Love will be severely tested. At that point, only some other qualities can keep the marriage going.

Qualities I refer to above include, but are not limited to - commitment, loyalty, deep friendship, total submission to God's will, shared values, compromise, etc.

Marriage is a long, hard road, just like motherhood. But it can be emotionally rewarding if both parties are willing to put in the work.

Only in Africa will parents have plenty kids with the mindset that at least one of them will make it and take care of them in old age.

Really weird thinking cos anything can happen, including death, to thwart those plans

No matter how one looks at it, having kids is actually a selfish decision, driven by purely biological instincts cos we have millions of kids today looking for who to parent them. Of course I'm not saying it's a bad thing, it's how most humans are wired.

I however believe that the aim of life is not procreation (giving birth) but to nurture nature and maximize our God-given potentials.

This is Beautiful.

Let's hear from the horse's mouth....

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Air Peace Airlines, Allen Onyema, says it is untrue to say that President Muhammadu Buhari does not like the Igbos.

Onyema defended his viewpoint on Saturday on the grounds that his airline had hugely benefited from the current administration.

I’m a beneficiary of Buhari’s kindness to Igbos – Air Peace boss

“I thank God for our President, Muhammadu Buhari, it is very untrue that he does not like the Igbo.
Without me being a member of his party, or any party, I am a beneficiary of his support for indigenous businesses.

“The Federal Government of Nigeria has given me destinations they have never given anybody, yet I am an Igbo man, from Anambra,” Onyema said on an interview with Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS).

Furthermore, he stressed that people should not read negative meanings to the good works of the Buhari administration.

“I don’t know anybody, I don’t have any godfather, President Buhari through his minister, Hadi Sirika, has given me China, London, Portugal, the entire Europe, United States and India.
“He’s even given me Jedda, and I’m not a Muslim; the government has given me about twenty destinations to fly to.”

He added that;
“The President wants equal economic development everywhere.”

These are the Great and True Igbo men true igbos listen to.
I don't understand what you're trying to imply but didn't he pay for those routes? Or was he given them for free cos of General Buhari's special love for Igbos?

Do you even think before typing?

Anyway, anybody who thinks the aloof president hates anybody is misguided.

He actually doesn't give a damn about anybody except his Fulani brethren. This is fundamentally different from hating any tribe.

However, as Chinua Achebe rightly noted in his book, The Problem With Nigeria, if there is one thing Nigerians have in common, it is the resentment of Igbos and their guts.

It's not spirit of fear guy, although I have to mention that the average westerner is known to avoid death at all cost, even if their dignity is taken from them.

But the thing is that in the North, most families have one or two members in the military/DSS/police as senior officers. Also a lot of senior government officials (civil service and politicians). The recruits know this and try to avoid getting into trouble with them superiors.

Also, the average northerner, like the easterner, is willing to die for his right and will not accept being stripped of his human dignity.
