Lol... cheesy did you say low density of Yorubas in any part of the country? That is absolutely wrong. Let me deviate a little, do you know the population of Yorubas in the North and in South South ? Go to Rivers State for example Yorubas have so many communities over there places like Aluu, Ogbogoro, Omagwa, Eliozu etc. In the North apart from the natives and Ibos the Yorubas are next in population.
In Imo State for example go to places like Uruatta, world bank, in Imo State Yorubas are populated there. Enugu is not an exception...I can go on and on , you can also carry out your own research.
So if it is the population we have it but you won't be allowed to contest as ordinary councillor talkless of a bigger post and they tell you to your face that you are not from here.
That fact that the Oba of Lagos said his own openly doesn't mean Your own kings don't., they do! But that was very wrong of him.
No where in Ibo land will they allow you to contest if you are not a native. I have people who have tried it..even if we don't have the population the person contesting might be popular within the area so what stops him from contesting? It is up to them to vote him or not.
I will tell you a lot about Ibos, I lived for years with them, I speak Ibo and my wife is Ibo!
Can you compare any of those population you're talking about to say the population of Igbos in Festac/Amuwo?

That's my whole point.

And please it's Igbo not Ibo.

Cheers.

Chief see ehn.

It's a very simple something.

Do you know how many votes it takes to win elections in a country like Nigeria for the post of a house of assembly member, senator or even local government chairman?

Look, do a bit of detailed investigation into what I'm talking about then you'll be aware!

That there is an Igbo man in the Lagos state house of assembly is because of the number of votes obtained during a particular election.

I wonder if you get what I'm trying to say.

You said the Igbos are not that accommodating and that's what I responded to.

We all know that because of the low density of Yoruba population in any part of the country apart from SW, it will be very difficult, almost impossible, to garner the kind of support and votes needed.

Has anyone ever been stopped from contesting?

Has any traditional ruler come out to say the kind of despicable nonsense the Oba of Lagos said?

That Oba deserves everything that happened to him and his palace, and more.

We all know the average Hausa man will never build a house outside their hometown.

I sympathize with the innocent ones caught in the imbroglio between the millitary and Ipob.

That said, it is interesting seeing the quietude in the South East in the face of what is happening. So much so that one Gidgiddi who prides himself as an Igbo leader on the forum waved it aside saying FORGET WIKE.

It is now obvious Igbos react to the death of Igbos depending on who is responsible for the killing.

We saw it with Peter Obi when he killed tens of Igbos in Akwuzu, and now Wike.

They even seemed more concerned about the incident at Lekki than this in Rivers, with nearly all Lekki threads running into no less than 8 pages!!

We live in very interesting times.
Let me make it clear to you.

You see, the average Igbo mam, while supporting Biafra will not support hoodlums going about harrassing people in the name of IPOB.

Also, there were shootings by police and military in places like Mushin and a few others but nobody took it up.

There is a reason why the Lekki massacre made international headlines.

If you cannot understand that reason then to Jesus be your glory.

Nobody in Igbo land supports criminals/hoodlums.

Everywhere, tension seems to be on the decline, except in Oyigbo, where the army, prompted by the Governor, is routing recalcitrant elements the governor claims have been wreaking havoc in the state.

Now, it is no mystery the people at the recieving end of Wike's anger, what is indeed near mystery is the quietude from the East.

In addition, characters like Fani Kayode, Reno, Deji
and indeed Wadata Plaza, who pride themselves as the ultimate defenders of Ndigbi have been eerily silent!
Even Ohanaeze Ndigbo is quiet!

The reason behind this inactivity isnt far fetched, there is no way they can attack Wike without costing their preferred party some loses. In essense, they value the interest of party over and above the lives of Ndigbo. What then sets these crop of character apart from the devil himself?

This is an ongoing onslaught, yet, they dare not speak about it. They cant wait for it to pass over as though it never happened so they can carry on insulting the president, Tinubu and APC.

Those people who did all the destruction were not the protesters but they were engaging in their own form of protests which is violence - something they have become accustomed to all their lives.

PoliticsRe: Fact Check On Rumours Of President Buhari's Replacememt By An Impostor by TheRealestGuy(m): 11:29am On Oct 28, 2020
Macphenson:
Ok

Overtime this issue has been a subject of debate and concern. I remember sometime last year I travelled to see my family in the east and we were having this debate. Here is what I told them.

First of all we all agreed something is wrong in ASO ROCK, but can't point out exactly what it is because no concrete evidence like DNA and other forensic analysis.

I remember telling them that for Donald Trump to have met with Buhari in white House proves that he is the one, and Trump's lifeless being statement also proves Buhari is terribly sick. If it is not the real Buhari, he won't be given clearance by the WHITE HOUSE to see POTUS. even if Trump wants to do it on his own, CIA, FBI and other intelligence agencies in America won't allow him to do that.

Secondly, Buhari attending the UNITED NATIONS GENERAL ASSEMBLY and addressing the world leaders also affirms he is the one. For those who can remember, when he got to the assembly, his security details were kept aside and a woman was assigned to be his detail althrough the time of the assembly.

If he is the impostor "JUBRIN" some world leaders ( the likes of PUTIN) won't seat down and be listening to an impostor "JUBRIN" addressing them in the United Nations Assembly, they won't tolerate such nonsense which is even a big security risk for them as terrorist can explore that option and cause serious destruction.

Please be guided, I totally agree that something is wrong in ASO ROCK but nobody can prove it now with hard core evidences.

What I think is, probably Buhari is alive and terribly sick but there is also a "JUBRIN" whom they use as a double to attend to some state functions. I remember seeing a picture where "BUHARI" was putting on a face mask and the face mask bent his ear, obviously proving that it's a rubber ear and not a human ear.

The shooting in ASO ROCK also affirms that Buhari has totally lost control.

Believe you me, if Buhari was dead, the likes of Obasanjo, SARAKI , DINO MELAYE etc would have long voiced it out loud and clear to the Nation as they are not in the good books of the President and the Presidency. Even Tinubu will play the political game so that Osibanjo will take over which has always been his dream.

The Yoruba elites would have voiced it more than Even Nnamdi Kanu so that power will automatically return to South West .

I remember telling my uncle that NNAMDI KANU was hasty in making that statement public, he would have waited a little and see if there's a way he would gather some hard core forensic evidences to buttress his point. His saying it then only made them to up their game, and tighten every loose end.
See the below tweet screenshot.

Verify it yourself.

That tweet hasn't been deleted up till today.

Yes I agree there's no concrete evidence, but something is terribly wrong at Aso rock.

when I say Lagos is a country of its own them go dey yimu...you see am, proactive decisions with the citizens interest first, this is how to curtail excesses when it comes to the power crazy armed robbers/ serial killers we have as security agents

the panel should be swift and decisive, any officer found guilty should be prosecuted and send to prison and they should tatoo dismissed SARS on his fore head so inmates will know what to do with him or her in prison .

and they should start wearing bodycam that will help stop the madness because every report that comes in will have a video feed to back the story ...no more dem say dem say.

see to advance is not hard but the powers that be won't let that happen in Nigeria because they have to keep the status quo.
They can only recommend the officers for prosecution but don't have the powers themselves to prosecute them.

Sanwo is doing what the useless president we have is supposed to have done a week ago.

Are we sure Buhari is sane? Even alive?

Cos I don't know how difficult it is to give executive orders for killer officers to be immediately arrested and prosecuted. Evidences abound of these officers actions.
