Look guys, this thing called love...
You know what a wave is? It has it's troughs and peaks right?
Same way love works.
Love = Commitment
And when one partner is feeling low (trough) the other makes up for it by energizing the relationship (peak). Go out on dates again, go on a vacation, do what you love to do together.
Also, communication is key.
If it's true love, there's nothing that cannot be resolved.
Cheers. |

mceze: I have been betrayed alot, but I still have a good heart to help..I guess my problem is that I trust people a lot and it always backfires on me. The recent one that happened to me is betrayal of trust. I saved money from my teaching job for months and started fish farming. It was not an easy task raising those fishes for four months. I sacrificed a lot to make sure I feed them well. Time for harvesting and I contacted a friend who brought someone to buy them off. The guy came and I sold them on credit, promising he will pay immediately he sells them. I agreed because of the friend that brought him. Till date, I have not seen the guy. The guy disappeared into thin air. This happened since last year June. We have searched everywhere for this guy all to no avail. His phone has been off since then. Even the friend that introduced me to him became worried and look emaciated, and was even afraid that I should not call police on him. I did not because he's a good guy. I became a laughing stock in my neighborhood. Many that wanted me to fail started laughing behind my back even my brother's wife and her siblings. I was demoralized and depressed for months. Even till date, I have not been myself. My fish pond is lying in waste without any activities. I have no choice than to go back to teaching job. Since then, I have been living from hand to mouth. I have to pay some debt I incurred during the course of rearing the fish. Life nor easy my brothers. Last month we were not paid salary. Now my brother's wife is happy with all these happenings and waiting for my food stuffs to finish so that I can come and beg them during this lockdown. Never! I have vowed that I rather starve to death than to beg them. Him and my brother also betrayed me but that's a story for another day. Trust nobody but God.... Where's this pond of yours? Can it be reactivated? Cheers. |

Babatunde40: Who are the venurable? How do they know? How did they arrive at the venurable? Is it nationwide?
Yesterday and this morning we heard from Buhari supporters that FG shared morning to the poor. Later this afternoon, minister of Finance said that they shared the money to the poor in Abuja alone. But Buhari supporters were saying it was nationwide. Is this nationwide or in the north alone again as usual? That has always been Buhari's modus operandi as he believes he is there to help his people mostly. As it was in 1983 so it is in 2020. Madness |
Travel › Re: Coronavirus Lockdown: A Nairalander In Ireland Shares His Experience (Photos) by TheRealestGuy(m): 9:48pm On Mar 31, 2020 |
dainformant: My experience in Ireland so far has been trailed with mixed feelings due to the coronavirus. The country is experiencing its worst ever pandemic - with nearly 3000 confirmed cases of the virus and 54 deaths recorded. The government has ordered a lockdown for some months to curb the spread and minimize the effect of the virus in the European country.
The nationwide lockdown has left the country’s public spaces hushed and deserted amid overwhelming public support for extreme measures to control the pandemic. Dublin city and other usually bustling urban centres are now like ghost towns..
In my area in Limerick city, the vast majority of the population appear to be following appeals to stay at home except to buy food, care for vulnerable people, do work deemed essential or briefly exercise.
The government has taken a very good measure to cushion the effect of the pandemic on its residents. Residents whose jobs and businesses closed due to coronavirus are being paid 350 euro PER WEEK. Those enjoying this benefit include Nigerians and other nationalities (both students and workers) who are living in the country. Many Nigerians received their alerts today being Tuesday and were greatly overjoyed.. People are being paid to stay at home and be safe. The payment will go on for 12 weeks...that's 3 months. Just chill at home and get paid.
€350 X N420 (about N147,000) per week. €1400 X N420 (about 588,000) per month.
Monthly rent is €325 while €50-€70 (depending on your spending capability) can go for groceries for the month. This only happens in civilized countries where the government take good care of their people. Mazi my man. You're doing well |

FemiMaduka: Why are the Fulɓe (Fulani people) at war with almost everybody? Can everyone be 'wrong' and 'unjust' to the Pullo man (Fulani man)?
Anybody with a good taste for information and knowledge should go check it up: the Fulani nomadic pastoralists are at 'war' with locals in almost all the countries in the sub-region—even in Guinea where they seem to have originated from.
Their unimaginative obstinacy and refusal to embrace modernity will eventually make them an endangered specie in West Africa and beyond. If our forebears could bin the bow-and-arrow and the everyday hunting and gathering routine, I see no justifiable reason why the Fulɓe should not refine their ways.
They may be a warlike people, but they should be introspective enough to figure that they won't survive a conspiracy. Peace begets peace. You're here speaking grammar, they're perfecting their plans. The truth is that the root cause of the herdsmen becoming much more aggressive is the drying up of lake Chad. Yet some people think climate change is a hoax. We're just seeing the beginning of it all. |

Rosskii: Very good points by the OP.
Country of government blamers. My favourite is ''we don't manufacture common toothpicks'', the implication being it's the govt's fault.
Pray, is it govt's job to build toothpick factories?
Or is it your job as a member of the private sector?
What stops you from starting a toothpick manufacturing business in your backyard, if you notice there's a gap in the market, leading to importation of same?
Much easier to blame Buhari, or blame ''Nigeria'', and sit on your fat asss. You're just being dodgy! Have you ever tried establishing a business in Nigeria? Maybe when you have you will come back to your senses. The government sets the tone and direction for the whole country via a vis policies and initiatives but our leaders have failed woefully in these regards. Are you sure you understand how a country's economy works? |
Politics › Re: Sorry To Say, The Nigerian Government Is Better Than The Nigerian People by TheRealestGuy(m): 7:40am On Jan 21, 2020 |
GeneralShepherd: I agree with you to an extent especially about treating people around us with respect and dignity.
However, I completely disagree that the Nigerian government is better than the people. Humans are very impressionable and learn from people in positions of authority.
High-handness, brutality and the use of force as seen in Nigerians can be traced to years of military rule. Even democracy has not even dented those years of conditioning.
Why do you think every rich Nigerian drives around with a convoy blaring sirens? Surely you can drive in a convoy with security silently.
About worker's rights, do you realise that the government should be implementing and enforcing laws that protect people. Humans are naturally selfish, mostly and thus a lawless country will always breed social vices and chaos.
Our governments past and present are failures and the problems of Nigeria rests squarely on their shoulders.
Don't blame us wey dey suffer The OP is trying to be right, but he is wrong. Every corporation, company or body is always an extension of it's leaders' characters, outlook and disposition, aka body language. |

Anthony Joshua told the world that he is a real and bona fide Omoluabi.
I hope you are training your children to prostrate whenever they see their elders? How does prostration amount to respect? Respect is not by all these gimmicks. And respect shouldn't be fear. |

One even call some of the girls “Dirty”, another that they have poor sense of clothing and the other that they can’t even buy better drinks. All these comments are signs of intolerance, immaturity and poor personal development. At least you can excuse some of their acts as youthful exuberance and some of us did same when we were their age and don’t forget that they are mostly dependents and not working.
