Perfectbeing: Retard.. It is totally false. You try to paint the picture of the fact that it doesn't take a genius to Govern Lagos. That since Lagos have the advantage of having a 150 years history of being a special City and a capital, and that the whites played a big role in developing (even though if you are fair to history, the whites actually underdeveloped Africa) Lagos. And you claim to be knowledgeable about history but fail to know that the Lagos colony was being ran on losses that was why they had to amalgamate the Lagos colony to the Southern protectorate in 1906.
You are trying to paint the picture (even though you are trying to deny it) that Lagos would have been great with or without Tinubu's effort.
Try all you want, but you have failed like others before you.
You are a colour blind and self deceiving odeson. I won't make u look important by responding to u again
Perfectbeing: All these long jargons just to diminish the effort of Bola Tinubu. The fact the you didn't counter that slowpoke that said "even if a mad man Govern Lagos he will perform" shows your true intent.
I didn't see the person that talked about the mad man. He didn't tag me. I am not trying to diminish anything, I am only painting the fact. Alot of Nigerians u will agree with me are misinformed. They don't have the grasp of Nigeria history and development over the years. U just answer; is what I have written true or false?
Perfectbeing: All what you wrote are nothing but jargons.
One of the reason for Singapore economic development is that it is situated in a best location for international trade passage making it one of the crowded port. In essence, Singapore is situated in a place that is "good for business"
So imagine a slowpoke like you belittling Lee Kuan Yew (Singapore's first Prime Minister) achievements and say he only developed Singapore because Singapore "is fortunate to be in a location that is by nature and chance placed well than others and even if you put mad to Govern Singapore (Lagos), he will still perform."
That is trash. It is only someone with vision that can tap into advantages like this.
This is the same way some people love to diminish Davido's achievements and say he was only successful because of his father's money. As if there are not other children of billionaires that ventured into music but never blow or are still struggling.
The essence of my long story is that you should always applaud a visionary leader when you see one. Even though he had lots and lots of advantages. The fact that he keyed into those advantages (especially when those before him didn't) is an achievement.
Nigeria has a lot of advantages and it is located in a place that is by nature and chance, well placed than others" and "is good for business." That is why we need someone like Tinubu to key into those advantages and make Nigeria into a working country.
You lack good sense of history dotard. Lagos has since more than 150 years been the special city in Nigeria. Everything that will make it a bigger city have gradually since about that time been provided. It was first, a city of administration for the Portuguese, then it became the centre of administration for the English. Portuguese and english people (also wealthy blacks that returned from these European countries), started building edifices and facilities in lagos. It has for hundreds of years been the main port for the importation and exportation of goods and services. Then also, the federal government made the lagos island the capital of the federation and started huge infrastructural development that befits a capital. Lagos got many of its overhead bridges tens of years before any other city in Nigeria. Most of the international embassies and headquarters of large companies came to be situated in lagos. Lagos became the MECCA city of west Africa. Its these factors that I said made lagos my nature and chance well placed than other states. So you see, lagos and its prestige and wealth precede Tinubu by 100s of years. Every administrator played their parts. Governor Otedola in his short time contributed to infrastructural development in lagos. He extended roads constructions to the far extremities of lagos. Tinubu came and played his part. He to his credit saw all this wealth and introduced an efficient system of taxation and increased the revenues accruing to the state government several folds. The succeeding government after him have (compared to him), pursued infrastructural development more with this huge wealth. My point again retard, is that no state has this history, opportunity, potential and wealth to dip into to engage in infrastructural and human development on the scale close to lagos. And I also mentioned the other governors the 'visionary leader's Tinubu helped put in government in other south western states that lack these factors lagos enjoys, I asked for people to see if they have been able to do anything significantly different from the other governors and state with potentials comparable to them? If these same governors that Tinubu mentored and helped to power in other states had become governors in lagos, we would have thought that they are exceptional too. If say Tinubu himself had become governor of Osun state that is his state of origin in 1999, he wouldn't have turned Osun State to what lagos state is now. In fact, Tinubu wouldn't have been what he has become now. It was because of the vast wealth lagos has, which isn't of his making, that he was able to really go to war as it were with the federal government. Know history and understand reality mumu.
Ayk8: In fact, in 2019 it was Delta that received more not Lagos state.
Yes, those oil producing states are beginning to stake their claims to larger share of federal revenues. On the average, I think lagos has received more than them overtime. However, my focus is really on what Lagos generates internally, it dwarfs all
rusher14: There are states that receive billions yet when you visit them they still look like desolate towns.
Let's just say the truth; successive governors of Lagos are sophisticated in their outlook and accomplishments.
Not yet Uhuru but Lagos is still the best run stage in Nigeria...Fact.
It is the best state obviously. It doesn't depend on how much it receives, it is really how much it generates. Lagos receives more than any state, however, there are couple of states especially in the south south that receives close to it. However, no state (even many other africa countries), come close to it in terms of what it generates. No state do 1/10th. You can see Ayade of cross river and wike of rivers doing a lot of projects because of the huge money they receive. Lagos on the other hand don't only receive huge money, but it generates a lot more money. Other states are hopeless compared to it. Where there is money, u won't notice much ineptitude on the part of the government. Its not possible that all the successive governors have been fantastic. They are all Nigerians and humans. We can see what the other governors Tinubu has helped put in other states in the south west with far far less money, we can see how they have performed. Its foolish to try compare the performance of lagos government with other governments.
Can China be doing something and u say 'patiently waiting for Nigeria '? No other state has the money lagos has. Things (performance) should be put in context. These guys did not build lagos, they are just fortunate to be in a state that is by nature and chance placed well than others. If for example, you are expected to carry five packs of indomie to a destination and you only carry two, people will view you as lazy. But people can not expect your child to even carry a pack. Must I give u people example like u are in primary school? Get sense na and know what u are doing.
But even if Peter Obi is an Agbero, Then Atiku is a Bandit And Tinubu is a Terrorist.
If you don't get it, forget about it...
That's the point. They are all bad. But seeing that these are what we have now, we have to go for the lesser evil. In the last election, I proffered corrupt Atiku to brainless Buhari. Compared to Atiku and Tinubu, Obi is an angel
saintopus: Wike would have been a very poor choice. The best could have been Obi. But it didn't happen. I am from RIVERS and I would not have supported him if he had won the presidential slot.
See better person. We would have been so disenfranchised if the only option were wike and Tinubu.
Lastborn0074: Very true. She has become very disrespectful.
Don't think u can stay for the children, but really u have to leave for the children. Explain to them that their mother has been unfaithful and tell them the reason she gave. Tell them furthermore that it's best u people go your separate ways for emotional, physical and spiritual health of everyone. If in the future she now repeats and try to seek your forgiveness, you are the one that will have to decide then. But I tell u, its difficult for her to repent under the present condition. Her mind is set. She has probably crossed the Rubicon or even ate the forbidden fruits. Her eyes are open to some (possible) enjoyment life that u can't see now yourself
colorsofrainbow: We love any fake news from labour party as long as it gives agbado cassava urchins high bp morning afternoon night. If labour party stops posting fake news,we OBIdients won't love them anymore
Any issue within the labour party will be resolved immediately and mistakes correctly promptly not like APC that wants to kill Nigerians without any form of remorse and conscience
Now op,you can make use of better ogbunge sniper
No, I am Obedient and I don't want fake news and propaganda. We want things don differently. We shouldn't go about things the way others have been doing
Draslo: I am asking this because I know Nigerians. Since I can remember, every democratic administration is presumably worse than the last.
During Obasanjo's era, people cursed him and said Abacha's administration despite the brazen thievery and tyranny were better years.
(skipping Yar'adua for obvious reasons)
During Jonathan's era, google labelled him the most cursed president on the planet while many labelled him a clueless drunk. Everyone agreed Obj's years despite trillions syphoned through NEPA were better.
The curtain on Buhari's administration is gradually closing and it's safe to say most people attribute any problem to Buhari even if they trip on a flight of stairs and break a leg. Again, we all agree Jonathan's years were much better.
I'm afraid that regardless of the outcome of the forthcoming elections, nothing really changes. If and when the value of the USD comes down, the value of products and services in Naira remain exactly where they are waiting for the next increase in USD value to further increase prices. This is a prime product of a failed state. I remember during Jonathan's last years, all sorts of charts came up just like now depicting drastic price changes compared to when he was just a vice president.
I know this is a very pessimistic view but can you blame me? They say more than half of our population are youth. This means in less than 20 years, our population will double. We don't even have plans for that!
See a single individual can change the direction of a country. A good example is Putin; Russia was becoming increasingly weak and complacent towards the west before Putin came in. There is a president that single handedly changed Singapore. Gaddafi had a huge impact on Libya so too Mugabe
It's not this simple. In all of these-between the three major actors- Taiwan is the most innocent, followed by China. USA is the evil. Taiwan was really part of China and China is justified in some ways in trying to get it back. Everything USA is doing, the interference and the pretense of trying to protect Taiwan is just to pursue their selfish policy. They want to keep China away from Taiwan so China don't get stronger and so China will be far removed from Guam, Japan, South Korea and even Hawaii which USA either own or have significant interests in.
leksite120: Your calculation is one-sided. The same way North need just a region in South to win is the same way southern votes cannot secure a win without at least two regions from the North.
See it like this, if someone has the whole South votes and another person has the whole north votes, the northern person would win. Infact if someone has the whole South without having NW and NE support, he'll still not win.
Forget south, SW is the only vote power in south. The whole votes SE gave Atiku which is like 90% vote in the last election is just something a state like Kano can cover for one party, so imagine that.
If you understand the demography of the country, u will realise that Kano isn't made up of only hausas as the country is now. The term north is misleading, we have northwest which is different from northeast. And we have north central.

You are intelligent. please let's become friends in real life. Please. It's a myth that the north are significantly more than us. Even that term north is mischievous. There are actually many diverse tribes in those region, probably more than we have in the south here. What have been making the difference and making it look like they decide who becomes president is that they take electioneering activities like a religious duty. They stand up and show up at elections. I hypothesise that more than 90% of people that can vote show up, while just about 40% show up here in the south. From some indices now, I am having strong grounds to think that Christians might even be in the majority in this country. Further more, the 20+ million number of voters in the northwest also comprises significant people of igbo ethnicity. Igbos that live outside of southeast are more really than igbos that live in the southeast Southerners, people of central Nigeria and Christian's generally should become really aware politically and get responsible politically. We should start taking elections as what it is really, a matter of prestige and survival. It still pains me really, when I at this age, speak with some fellow southerners and I hear them say they are not so much interested in politics that what matters to them is their business. I say to them though that politics is more importantly than business, power more important than money. It's when u have peace and security that u can engage in business.
posty56: 1)they type monotonic ,any lady that types like this is clearly not into you or not feeling the conversation and you must abandon if you value your self-respect ,but trust simps to ignore this signs cause they one die on top her matter.leave say Nigeria guys they complain about women not holding conversation it means the woman is not interested ,women are talkatives!
2) they take time to reply and if dey do it's short
3) billing, yes. Nigeria women usually go straight to bill men they don't have feelings for , because if they're interested in that man thoughts like this goes on in their head "if I ask him for money will he see as cheap girl ?"," I won't ask him for money so that. he will know that I am an independent woman", but if she's not interested. na straight billing cause she has two intentions ,to take advantage of your feelings or to repel you.
diadem10: You mean those your doctored clips bah? Na ment?
U need help with ur cognitive ability too. It's not nice for people to deceive others, but it's really terrible if one tries to deceive oneself. The proofs are everywhere about Tinubu declining cognitive ability. Keep living in denial
diadem10: Him Tu lie Peter Obi criminal keep muddling religion with politics.
Religion isn't a ticket to get your way out of your incompetence
Peter Obi who has got no achievement in his state but want to preside over Nigeria. Imagine. Go make your Anambra great first.
May you and your generation be like how Peter Obi ruled Anambra. You dey mad?
Meanwhile, when does being aged person relative to poor health? Italy's president is 80. Biden is 78. You dey mad?
If I say you wouldn't reach Tinubu's age, you would start to cry.
Is not even about age really, it's about health and cognitive ability. Is it sensible for u to want a Tinubu that forgets even the name of his party to lead Nigeria? Come on guy
siofra: A man with the same principles and good looks as Thomas Sankara.
I've searched for a man like this all my life but I've been unsuccessful so far. It looks like I'll never find a man at least similar to him, with the similar ideals and way of thinking.
He doesn't necessarily have to be revolutionist but he can be a sensible social justice warrior, not the one that panders to the idiosyncrasies of the left.
In this day and age, I'm beginning to doubt a man like this exists. But if I find him, I swear not even heaven or hell will separate us.
If I never find him, I'm content to be single and old with my 48 cats or may be explore the other side of my sexuality.
not a good question? The question should be how do people still full his church? This shows their are plenty mumu in Nigeria. Somebody that has overtimecshown with his fruits that he is not a man of God. He is a counterfeit. Counterfeit they look so much like original
Brendaniel: So these guys did not consider people with disabilities, I don't want to just blame them out-rightly but I don't want to believe this is the first person complaining about this, and from the technology available on face camera recognition, there are the types that identifies with facial structure rather than just eyes only, if they spent billions to get their equipment, it should also cover facial structure except Emilokan happened in the procurement, this should be fixed immediately....
Buhari is the problem, but I blame Tinubu for bringing the problem.
For those quoting me, the question I have for you is, if someone sells a bad phone to you who would you blame, the phone or the seller?
Tinubu sold Buhari to Nigerians twice even when he knew he was selling a bad product same way he is selling himself and Shettima now.
My friend, a lot of people don't know that Nigeria is still in the dark age. A lot of things vex me almost on a daily basis about Nigeria especially when I am outside with people. In a serious country with smart leaders, these type of things would have been considered. That's more reason why we have to phase out these leaders. The whole lot of them, regardless of tribe, party and religion. They are too old fashioned. They can't relate with the modern world. But sadly, u know what I have discovered about Nigeria? There are more bad people than food people. More uncivilized people than people that understand and embrace modernity. This is why we may continue to elect old , archaic leaders. Just imagine the Buhari we have now? We haven't for a long time had smart looking sharp leader
lovinagbad: You can't force someone to do something in democracy. That's why I will never vote OBI. His followers are Toxic
Is it Peter Obis supporters u have business with or Peter Obi? Is Peter Obi the same as his supporters? Don't u know that when u have crowd, u will have different kind of people in the crowd? Som section of his support are getting over excited and not comporting themselves well online, but will u blame Obi for that? He has come out several times to address this issue. If u aren't supporting Obi because of this, u should get urself checked up. Because I believe this issue is not like some football club where for example u choose not to support Chelsea because u feel its fans are lousy. This is national issue...its an issue about our mental health, security, national pride and future.
Ode ni boboyi sha. U just dey open mouth gba Sentimental mumu. Wouldn't u want to hear what your president have for u and the country. Leadership is about what is in the brain not just shouting 'emilokan' slogan about

I just so much want us to be smarter in Nigeria. What's this ur reaction to the video. I am surprised anybody wont quickly see that that's some skit. Girls right legs moved sideways just after the guy removed his hands from her eyes. Thus is a sign that she is ready to start some rehearsed script. Two; birthday girl with that type of unkempt hair? Guys, please develop your skills at analysing things. It's this dump nature that make us elect bad leaders
THESE PEOPLE DO NOT FEAR GOD, NA GOD DEY FEAR THEM.
It is dangerous to dismiss red flags. We must start being sincere with ourselves and not block that part of our conscience that tells us something isn't right. What the APC/ Tinubu people did with the so called Bishops they assembled today is worrisome. It smacks of desperation and it is nothing but an attempt to 'scam' people the-whole nation. You can't go this low in pursuit of a cause if your intentions are godly. We should not only be alarmed but really scared. Like APC is banking on our perceived foolishness and gullibility. I am of the opinion too that they do not rate highly the Christian community. It's not really about our tribe, religion, party or creed now, it's about asking ourselves if we can really trust this very desperate people to govern us with integrity.
