Igbo:Just settle down and do elimination method. Who is preferably from these lots? If APC had selected somebody like Osibanjo, it would probably have been a work over for them. But see who they have given us? Try not to see every situation in life through the dirty prism of tribalism. Consider others in your choice, even your children |
SmartPolician:Yes, in this race. If Osibanjo had been in, Peter Obi may not have garnered this much interest. Its shame on APC and PDP that is trying to turn our nation to a nation for the cabal. A nation for the old elites. |
anewchapter:We can't because other states don't have the money |
dubaino:Nigerians don't know how to know a good government. You are hailing this governor for doing these things, the same way you people are amazed at all lagos state governors performances. The thing is that, compare to any states, this two state-Lagos and Delta, have too much money to do this things (lagos much much more). How we should be gauging good government is by judging them against the money they have. My assumption is that almost all these governors are average. Lagos government and Delta can actually perform a lot more, but they embezzle state funds and bedazzle us with some projects. And we are deceived because we compare them with other states. |
Fahdiga:See this way of always trying to bring in tribal conflicts into matters to get some kind of thrill is one of the worst way to live. Try get ur fun from other sources. Please stop being a cancer. |
dre11:Another thing is that we be coward too for south here. Reprisal attacks do not make sense because the real perpetrators would have long gone, but what did the coward at that area do at that moment? |
360degreess:The only thing that keeps u going in life is tribal bigotry. That's the only way u measure politics, "ur tribe against mine". Very dark and illiterate individual |
We need to fix our orientation to fix our society. HAPPY SUNDAY

Human beings are emotional creatures. You might be doing Peter Obi's movement a lot of harm, if because of your passion for him or desperation to get your message across you resort to abusing and bullying people online. The action will repulse others that are undecided. This attitude has a way of forming siege mentality in those people you hope to win over and make them entrenched in their cause. You give them reason to support who they support. You might even end up giving the Peter Obi movement tribal colouration. MARKET YOUR CANDIDATES WITH FACTS AND EMPATHY |
DenreleDave:It's either u are not a sincere individual or u are really an ignoramous for u to continue saying Tinubu (or even Ambrose and fashola), built lagos. Remove 1999 to 2022 and lagos will still be the best most developed state infrastructure wise. |
seunmsg:But at least, its news. Hasn't he been pushing those fictional stories to front page? |
I just realised one disturbing thing. It's like nairaland is partisan. How come the hot topic about Tinubus certificate hasn't made front page? One can not as it seems depend only on nairaland for information in Nigeria oh. It's like they decide which news to share |
Maxymilliano:Polygamous family, always complicated. You dare not shower praise on only one wife |
Hamachi:You are ole. If they didn't tell u now, u too will go on spreading the myth |
Blaqroman0000:See people's belief? We have a long way to go in Africa. Before, this our country really develop this present generation will have to die off. |
haggai247:If because of this yeye fears. The dead is dead. I have slept in the same room with a corpse, carried a corpse and visited the mortuary a couple of time |
Devilagentcap:Give me the address. Refer me. Hope say shifts dey sha |
Benki003:Are u first real? U go school so? |
There are just some lies that make us look stupid or look like we are suffering from amnesia. How some people can comfortably insinuate that Tinubu built lagos leaves me bedazzled. Isn't it this same 'Eko' that even from when I was young, way before Tinubu became governor has always been an attraction for everybody that wasn't a resident in lagos? You start bragging to people that you are more sophisticated after you visit lagos. And you start imbibing their Parlance. You start learning to say 'mide, mide and oti'. Isn't this the same lagos that from way back has the overhead bridges (that was for a long time only unique to lagos) and the skyscrapers that leave visiting 'village boys' lost in awe? Isn't this the lagos famous for its fascinating beaches and 'endless' job opportunities? Isn't this the same lagos that has always had the embassies of different countries that people from 19 'komgba' have always come to to process their 'japa'. Hasn't lagos always been the MECCA of not only Nigeria but West Africa? Some of these things and situation has been there for about 100years. So, how did Tinubu that was governor for 8years come to build all these things?♂️ EXPERIENCE AND LOGIC INDICATE THAT IF YOU MUST INVENT LIES TO SUPPORT A CAUSE, IT MAYBE THAT THAT CAUSE IS REALLY NOT WORTH SUPPORTING! |
Vahat:Let her take charge during sexual activities. She too will tire out in due time |

You dey see correct mad people u dey call them church members. Christianity is on life support though |
StagethemTVee:I tend to agree with u that there might actually be more bad people in Nigeria than good people for us to be electing bad people. However, this question I will ask u is pertinent; are you part of the bad people? If u are, then u will vote one of the obvious bad men we know. What role are u going to play on all of this? Are u going to strengthen the number of the bad people or the number of the ok people |
Honor10:But what's your gain guy? Someone that appears so different. Is Tinubu or Atiku your father? Its politics like a football club to u that u just choose a side and follow blindly? |
Are the people from southern Nigeria ready at all (the youths especially)? The just concluded election in Ekiti state, thats supposed to be the leading state in educated people, suggests we aren't. Ekiti state has about 3million population. The youths are just above a million. 900 thousand people have PVC, which is good. 700thousand registered to vote, which is still fair. But, just about 300thousand people actually voted! A number well below 50percent of people that can vote. The pictures we saw are mostly that of aged women from rural areas. Our lives can't get better with this kind of attitude oh. No be to dey shout on social media and engaging in unproductive arguments. I think our education here is defective. It doesn't go deep enough. It doesn't reform the people adequately. I have seen several educated people that stop taking pills just after they feel they are better, instead of completing the dose. I have seen several educated people that don't know how to administer first aid to somebody having crises due to asthma. |
The idea of democracy doesn't just end at winning elections. You send messages sometimes, when you shock a bad government by the votes you cast for some other people that embody your ideas. This make them sit up. If Peter doesn't even eventually win, we should have however by the end of the day send a message that we can't continue to be taken for granted. I warned us not to re-elect Buhari. I said then that we should cast our votes for Atiku, if not for anything but for this same reason of 'sending a message that we can't continue to be taken for granted'. I pointed out that Buhari's last term would be worse because he will know he has nothing to lose. Now please if we can be honest, haven't these last for years been a lot worse than the first four? Infact, this past couple of years is only second in adversity to the years of the war. Many people here would have fallen victim to the bad policy of this government, something they might not have imagined before. It can still get worse. War-the worst of situation (parents lose their children, people lost properties, sisters get raped infront of there helpless brothers, juju fails to work, one meal a day becomes a privilege, touts become more powerful and desirable than civilised people, the people that have caused the war because of their bad policies escape to some haven abroad etc during war)-is visible just over the horizon. We can still act to prevent it. Let's not underestimate our power. One becomes collective. Vote responsibly. Vote not because you want to win a bragging contest with your neighbour. Important too, don't resign to an ugly fate by not voting (EXCEPT your religious conviction doesn't allow you only). |
Ahmed0336:Brother, u were this kind suite deck am with that fancy hat, but I surprise say brain no dey that head |
Joezinho:U are beyond redemption. And he fit be say u dey suffer like that oh |
Omicronvaccine:Person wey be say na three body guard hold him babariga inside that bus may him no fall |
Chicagoesontop:Even the pope has a grasp of the whole matter than Putin. The pope has given a very analysis of the whole thing. In all of this, it's the ukrainian government that is mumu. They are allowing themselves to be used by some powerful outside interest. Ukraine is a huge testing field. |
Omooba77:It's a cunning way by satan to establish a fake righteous nation. The constitution supports gay practices which isn't something the bible supports |
*I will be at TBS tomorrow*♀️. Who is in? I will sort transportation and bottle water, u should sort FOOD (emphasis on food) and (other) drinks. THE POINT IS: STOP COMPLAINING AND ACT. This men have wasted our youthful age, we are now becoming parents. Let's fight for those coming after us atleast. No region is more than any region. What the other region have is that they come out and vote. How can Anambra that has about 5million eligible voters be electing their governors with less than 200 thousand votes?! *BUGA_WITH_YOUR_PVC* |
