There is no such thing as "right person"
Is that right? |
The truth is, before a man gets to know how intelligent you are, he first sees beauty. Except you both meeting in a different situation (Professional conference and all that) so if he isn't attracted to you, then he'll never know how intelligent you are. |
Trust me, when you meet the right person, this wouldn't even be an issue. |
And she never gives up! As much as I don't care for her, I can't hate on her hustle. |
Seriously this is news? I don't think it comes as a surprise to anyone! |
WOMEN HAVE NO SHAME!LOOK AT THEM ASKING IF HE IS SINGLE! GO AND WORK OOOOOOO AND STOP LOOKING FOR A RICH HUSBAND!!!! HUNGRY GIRLS! |
Why do we only hear about these prophesies only after they've happened? (Side Eye) |
Some of the guys denying ever doing this, are the ones who would do more than this and then come here acting all macho! You'all can take a thousand seats at the stadium! |
unstoppableme: Hardly will an event held and the ‘three musketeers’ wont register their presence. When you take a story from another website/blog, the right thing to do is at least credit the source! I still believe you can get a job based on merit. A lot of foreign graduates think because you graduated from a foreign university that's a free ticket to getting a job even when you graduated with a pass/third class. I graduated in January came back first week of February and I'm due to resume work this week. Mind you, it was based on merit and not whom I knew because I just sent out an application and I was called for an interview. I haven't even gone for NYSC yet. I believe in building your experience and being engaged while you chase bigger fishes like Multinationals. So even if you get a job with a smaller company that is offering you a 100k a month, do not put your nose up in the air or look down at it because that could be your ticket to getting something bigger. It contributes to making you more marketable to bigger companies. I think a lot graduates underestimate the power of experience. If a 100 graduates are applying for a single position, and they all have the same qualifications, what do you think would be the next criteria for evaluating whom to pick for job? |
Please is registration for foreign graduates A batch closed? |
There is a difference between silent treatment and calming down when you are angry so no need to confuse the two. Silent treatment killed whatever love I had for a particular ex. Just couldn't tolerate it anymore. When you take a couple of minutes to hours to calm down, then that's acceptable. But when you continuously ignore your partner for a day to a couple of days or weeks, then that's just being wicked! Especially when you know the person is trying to apologize or talk you. I think silent treatment is a form of emotional abuse and it messes with the mind of the person trying to get your attention. Majority of the people who give the silent treatment do not do so to calm down their anger, they do it to exercise some form of control over their partners. No matter how they might deny this, it makes them feel good because they feel they in control and that's the truth. |
What are some people spewing on this thread? Tafawa Balewa was eloquently spoken! This was when there was respect for Nigerian Leaders not the jokers we have in power today! |
THIS IS THE REASON I HAVE ZERO TOLERANCE FOR PEOPLE WHO STAY WITH A CHEATING SPOUSE! YOU JUST NEVER KNOW WHAT MIGHT BE FORTHCOMING! I'M SORRY IF YOUR CAN'T RESPECT THE INSTITUTION OF MARRIAGE THEN YOU HAVE NO BUSINESS GETTING MARRIED! MAY THEIR GENTLE SOULS REST IN PEACE. |
LMAO!!!!!!!!!!! ![]() |
J12: She was a hooker, not a gay. They're two different things.Oh is that right? So I guess premarital sex is right, and being gay is wrong, huh? So because they Gay, that's enough reason to have them stripped off, beaten up and paraded around naked? Seriously Shaking my head at you. |
Nigerians amuse me! You might not agree with what they do, but is that enough reason to strip them off their dignity? How does beating or cursing at them make you a better person? Christians shouting (By the way I'm a Christian) What did Jesus say to the Pharisees when they brought the "Prostitute" before Him? I guess you all are very selective when it comes to reading the Bible! Your very quick to judge others but I can bet 99% of you all are having premarital sex! You feel your hearts with so much hate for a fellow human being and then later you go down before God on your knees. You wonder why your prayers are not working or why Nigeria is not getting better? That's because the average NIGERIAN is filled with so much hatred, despise, and wickedness for a fellow human being! LOOK INWARDLY BEFORE YOU JUDGE SOMEONE ELSE! |
This thread cracks me up! I really wonder what goes through the minds of these parents when they come up with such ridiculous names for their kids. ![]() I'm glad my parents gave me nice names because I'll definitely have changed my names if I didn't like any of them. |
I'm a woman and I have to say she got it coming. First of all I have zero tolerance for men who hit women. But at the same time,as a woman that doesn't mean you should act out of order or use that as a leverage to be unruly. Not all guys are men, not everybody would turn the other cheek when you hurl racist insults at them or throw a bottle at them and that's reality. Just because a man wouldn't hit you, doesn't give you the right to hit him. |
Men amuse me a lot times! I guess a "GOOD WOMAN" is one who can wash, clean, cook, and be submissive to her man. Let me ask you, what if she does all these things and when she's mad at you, she'll use a knife to chase you around, does that still make her a wonderful woman? I think to each man his own. If you want a traditional woman, then please go for that. But at the same time do not castigate someone who's different. We all have our choices and everyone is entitled to that choice! Personally, I can't marry a traditional man. Just the same way oil and water can't mix, I can't get along with a traditional man who feels that a woman is beneath him and a woman can only be seen and not heard. |
I don't get it! I seriously do not get it. Shouldn't his facebook profile picture of another lady have warned you that dude's up to no good? |
Definitely praying quietly! It gets on my nerves when people pray so loudly! Is God deaf? I view God as my heavenly Father. If I do not shout when I'm talking to my earthly Dad, why should I shout when I'm talking to my Heavenly Father? |
I don't know why this question cracks me up. ![]() |
EBUKA! ![]() |
Its a reflex action. |
WOW!!! Primary School Days!!! |
What happened to walking up to her and striking an intellectual stimulating conversation? ![]() |
debrief08: If the man of the house cannot solve conflicts like an adult then deal with him the way he acts like a child. I have learnt it is counter productive to reward bad behavior, he acts like that because of the attention he ges from acting out just like a small child does.GOD BLESS YOU! Why can't adults learn to talk through their issues? Its ok to take a couple of hours off but past that its EMOTIONAL ABUSE PERIOD! How can you claim to love someone and ignore them? I don't get it. Maybe my idea of love is different. |
Overstay my welcome! I'll be to busy taking care of my numerous projects to bother with every single thing my daughter/son in-law does! |
As much as I don't care for her,I can identify with some of the things she said! If you a guy who walks up to me and the next thing you do is ask for my pin, sorry but you ain't getting even a second glance from me! PERIOD! |
Go cold Turkey! |
For as long as you want it to. Sometimes we remain heartbroken because we have refused to let go. The minute we make up our minds to let go, then we start healing. |
