monex: the new world mentality equates poverty with laziness. while i appreciate the need to have an internal locus of control, theres a lot of favour, luck and opportunity in being wealthy. So when i hear girls calling a broke guy lazy, i fail to see the analogy.

in terms of choice of husbands however, I agree with Ileke-Idi - It's up to a lady to choose the type of man she wants to get married to. if she wants someone who is financially stable, it is her choice. as a guy, what you do is to find a lady who is ok with ur financial status. no be wetin dem dey vex put. a lot of us have our own seemingly ridiculous list of requirements for would-be spouses. sometimes, we all get to make concessions (looks, cash, intellect, character, tribe etc.)
