Ricoco: With your GPA and GRE score why not target safer schools?
ETSU SIU NIU Chemistry is a hot course and there is always funds.
In fact if you apply to NIU right now, you might still be lucky to have admit and funding. As far as the school has good facilities, standard and staff, it is as good as any school in the top 100. That was days of rainning season. I can tell you with all assurance that there is no funding for this fall 2019 and only one GA position may be offered to Intl students this section |

frankie2K: Add that up to 30k insurance fee. What is the again of not having an interview again?
What will VFS do that is special? Will they investigate your academic background or financial background?
I am skeptical that they want to reduce migrants to there country as Denmark did in 2006 followed by Sweden Maybe the low turn for visa made them to outsource it. The VFS process is quite straightforward though. |

Though they might not ask you that question but if they do, don't say that. Say something like i wasn't awarded any scholarship though I applied but since the tuition is affordable, your aunt and uncle are willing to sponsor you |

frankie2K: Nawaaa. Which kind stress and extra cost be this one?
After paying 102,000 for RP, you pay VFS extra charges.
Not encouraging at all 23,690# for VFS service charge. RP application fee is #106,000. I think the interview part is not required again until there is need for it. Just submit your docs at VFS and do your thumbprinting. |

bracelum: He was denied because his father bragged - not because he was not seen as a genuine student or otherwise. That tells you that it happens in rare cases.
His university called - that further confirms what we were trying to tell fairheart yesterday.
Again, I never mentioned 100% guaranteed - I said it is almost guaranteed (95-97%). The remaining 3-5% is for rare cases like the one you just mentioned or for people that failed to use the vast resources at their disposal.
And please, I don't want to talk about this topic again.
Thanks Lol, Like always, you always like to stand on your view. Even we talk from now till tomorrow, you will always maintain your stance. There is nothing to talk again anyway. |

bracelum: No need overflogging this stuff In as much as top school admit makes visa easy. There is nothing like 100% guranteed. Have read on quora where a consular officer said he has once denied someone with Harvard admit visa just cos he overheard the dad bragging. When harvard called, the consular officer explained and that was it, the guy never got the visa. It's case by case but nothing is guaranteed. |

And I have been laughing! Thanks anyway! Don't say what you don't. They call. Visa can never be your issue with top 15 B school admit. |
