Ifeoma77: I read that story too and decided to upload only my valid passport. However, when I was done filling the forms and my checklist came up, I saw 'multiple required' beside the passport placeholder. I jejely uploaded all. Better safe than sorry.
Thanks for clarifying, I can advise all my clients appropriately Multiple means your data page and any visas or stamped pages. Even if you've only ever used one passport na the same 'multiple' go show. |

Majesticniyi: Exactly. The VO has to deduct the five point due to your birthday but provided that the reduction would affect your scores so much that it goes below the cut off of the draw you got ITA, he would have to call upon the provision that bypasses that law. He doesn't have to. As joo2018 reconfirmed, it's a discretionary something. |

Mine modified my topic to make it simpler, wrote it the new topic, cancelled the old topic with biro and signed. Anyway I don't think anyone world even notice if you type up a new topic sheet and start topic approval process all over again. We're disorganised like that. |

ChinenyeT: If it wasn't above cut off would your Application processing stop? Usually, yes. Your application cannot proceed if during completeness check it is discovered that you don't actually meet the cut off for the round you got ITA. |
Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 5 by Tojued: 10:40am On Oct 14, 2018 |
Kmgb: The 5 points is usually deducted from your score even before u submit after ITA ,u can check this by using the 'review my score' button at the end of the page. However, the visa officer is obliged to calculate your score based on your pre ITA info. So even if your score drops below ITA cut off cos of birthday, you cannot be rejected based on that except you changed a vital info that affected your scores.so its no surprise it shows up on gcms Don't know how to post links relating to this from cic
Cc chinenyeT Ok. But I'm not sure they're obliged sha, they just have the discretion to apply a particular exception that applies to age change. I guess my VO did not see any need to apply that exception. |

FocusedDiva: Good morning everyone. I want to ask if I can change my project topics already approved by the center director. I met my supervisor last Friday and realized the topics I chose will be difficult for me.i am in my second semester,MSc info tech. My supervisor also advised me to change the project topic. Can I go back to school and submit a fresh one for approval. Is it possible, please advise. Your supervisor should have let you change the topic there and then, then signed his approval. |

Majesticniyi: You don't have to hasten the process once you get ITA. Her age gets locked in once she gets ITA and '5points drop' doesn't affect her again.
Medicals can be done upfront but biometrics is done on request from IRCC after submission. Fun fact, my birthday was after ITA and gcms notes show that the five points were deducted post aor (new score was still above Cut-off, thankfully) |

Franklyly: Thank you so much, my profession was not on the EE list, so I will go with 2 or more. In the case of Degree and PGD, I will need to send only the PGD for evaluation right ? You really need to visit page one of this thread and spend some time there. |

Franklyly: Thank you bro for your assistance, the CRS of 405 was based on barest minimum of IELTS, I checked again with high IELTS and I found out that my CRS will be well above 450. It is now left for me to get the job done with IELTS
Now my next point of call is with Education qualification, I can either go for 2 or more certificate (I have a degree and a PGD certificate in a specialty of my profession) or I can go for "a professional degree needed to practice in a Licensed profession". I am a medical Radiographer(referred to as Medical Radiation Technologist in Canada) and the profession is regulated and practitioners are licensed before they can practise in Canada. So which option do you advice I pick ? I tired both on CRS projector and both of them placed me at projected CRS well above 450.
Gurus in the house, abeg make una help a rookie. Do a Google search 'list of professional degrees canada EE'. If sonographer is on the list, good. If not, use 2 or more. (Hopefully your PGD qualifiés to receive equivalent évaluation) Try to visit as many links on page one of this thread as you can. Almost no experience is new under the sun. |
