intswagga: Please is it advisable to pay for the Semester registration through credit cards or one should go to the bank branch for such payments? Card works perfectly. But you need to search for steps on checking RRR so it will instantly reflect in your wallet. @nounitesportal you have link for this process? |

Shyee: I'm afraid, you need to write IELTS again, because it's not likely we have another draw till next month(I'm a believer, anything can happen). If your spouse is good for it, let him write too or consider other ways of improving your CRS score as pointed out by others who posted above. Cheers. Truth is, even if spouse writes ielts and scores 9999, then gets a master degree PhD, it's only 20 30 marks he can add to the application. Score will still be low. Anyway God dey, since ontario were interested last time by His grace they'll be interested next time. Canada cold un accompanying should not be chosen lightly. |

Chikaima18: Good morning everyone. A friend referred me to this page. Please i need advise and guide from the house. I have been in he express entry pool since 2016 but my score has been 406. Am married with kids and I am the primary applicant. My husband stopped at junior secondary school and so has no certificate for me to claim points with. I had aced my ielts on my first sitting and am 28 years so I got the high points on this part. A friend advised me to remove my husband from my application and first apply for myself and my kids and when I get the visa I can now apply for my husband. Please does any one have any experience on this and please advise me if i should go this way.
Thank you for your responses in advance Until you turn 30 you won't need any points from your husband if you have a masters degree, you'll easily cross crs 450. You can complete a masters degree With noun latest by January 2020 if you start now. Your family would have been in Canada already if you had started a masters degree in 2016. |

Shae they said organised private sector is not part of the strike action. Send them a message on Facebook, response there is usually prompt (for me it was live chat self as they were online). |

twetey: Good Evening Loving Family, Please I intend to get the Pof from my dad who resides outside the country though he plans to transfer it from his naija acc to mine. Please how do we go about the gift deed in this case. Can he write a letter stating that he is giving me the funds out of compassion as my father and other necessary details, sign and send it to me while I get it notarized here in naija. Or must a lawyer be involved? Notarising is not compulsory. Remember that document in question is supposed to be notarised by the person who prepared the doc (your dad). Might be safer not to notarise at all. Just my thoughts. |

Fadia: S/he would still have to prove the relationship sha, along with submitting proof that the person is truly a citizen/PR (T4, utility bills, picture of PR card or passport). These things might be quite hard to get if s/he cannot currently contact the person.
I think your option of writing an LOE after would work sha but I'm also hoping it doesn't count as misrepresentation too, being as s/he has already claimed the points and still doesn't have a way to prove the relationship or that the person is actually a citizen/PR.
PS: I can't remember if extended family members actually give points though, I think it is just siblings. I added my aunt to my application and I'm not sure it gave me points (well to be fair, I actually didn't know how to check) Last last and based on all the views shared I agree that The neatest option is to select no to the question, then write LOE informing that you have relative but don't want to claim points. Extended family members give FSW points while siblings give CRS points. |

casecasr: Good day House. You guys have been really helpful all through my canny process. However I have another question. So I woke up this morning to a CPCO-Final Request mail saying ready for visa and that I should submit my passport. Now I’m really happy but I just logged in to my application and it still says ‘in progress’. Guys please before I continue dancing here, is it normal? I love it when people get PPR without knowing or being sure it's PPR. The innocence always soothes my soul. Congrats casecasr and estac. |

extraterestrial: Thank you for responding. I submitted the ADR immediately..the next day I think and medicals is passed. The wait is just infuriating and I ordered gcms notes, waiting for that is still another issue..now I understand when folks say the hardest part is the wait till ppr. You really can't do anything but wait Don't worry, the wait gets easier. Since you've passed medicals use your uci to start your prelanding programmes. Those courses are so time consuming, you won't have time to fret over your application. |

Jbelieve: Good day all. please what do they mean After we receive your application, it may take up to 5 days for you to see it in your account. We are working to make this wait time shorter. It means exactly what is stated. But usually doesn't apply to PPR applications anymore. |

pillys: Are you entirely sure about this? Remember, he is asking if he needs to include her in his EE application. That means points will be awarded for this. And this needs to be backed by documents. Just being careful here. This is the question they ask : do you have a relative in Canada who's a PR or citizen? They don't ask : do you have a relative in Canada whom you can prove you're related to? I only said what I'd do if I were in such shoes... Based on others' experiences the VO would simply deduct the 5 FSW points since you're unable to establish relationship. But all n'a still my opinion sha. |

cannydad: What is the difference between "I doubt" and "chances being slim"?. Considering we're talking about ielts, I think there's a world of difference. They both send out two different perceptions, thus triggering different emotions. I doubt if there'll be a harvest this year. There can be a harvest this year, but the chances are slim. Also one is a personal opinion of negativity (Subjective) and the other is based on facts (objective) That's why I can say : I doubt if PDP will win the Osun reruns and stroll away. But if I say chances are slim that PDP will win the Osun reruns, I would need to run away. If someone asks my reasons for statement one I could be like, it's just my instinct. But for statement two, I would need to analyse and justify my view. |

Rapture07: Secondly i have an aunty in canada but i can't seem to get her approval to use her gain points for fsw. Should i mention it when filling my EE or just forget about using her. If i were you i'd say yes. Then upload LOE on how we are not in touch and I don't have her approval to add her to my application, in the placeholder for relatives in Canada. But be sure whether you're still eligible without her five points before doing this. Reason why i'd say yes is that it always feels like lying when you answer no to that question: do you have any relatives in Canada? if you actually have relatives. Na just fear of misrepresentation sha. |

extraterestrial: please i read somewhere that ADRs affect/increase your timeline..please how true is this, was this confirmed from anyone's gcms note. i am curious because i got ADR Shortly after AOR and now nothing on my file and its been 2 months Lol when request for ADR is made your file is 'parked'. E.g., during your R10, a doc is discovered missing. File is immediately parked and ADR sent. You spend 6 days responding. After this they take another one week au minimum to consider the doc you sent. That's instant +2 weeks to your application... However i don't believe it will slow down things in the long run, will only delay MEP. If you like carry 5 ADR if your file lands Ottawa you're still likely to get PPR before no ADR person that landed Accra. Everything above just my unfounded theories! (except for the term 'parked' which i discovered via GCMS notes) |

PrinceCEE: This Noun mode of operation is still vague to me. They've 3TMAs. What's TMA?
And how many weeks of lectures in a semester? Tutor marked assignment... equivalent of test or continuous assessment. They are done online and are in objective format. We have three TMAs, each one 10 questions. They make up a cumulative 30% while exam is 70%. So if you can score 30/30 in your TMA you're already halfway to success... |
