frozen70g: I love this post, am glad women have realised that they are responsible for their own happiness
Don't expect any man to guarantee you of your happiness
Love your home and work hard to keep your home going
As for the men, keep eating different kind of soups, at a time you will loose appetite of soup that's when old age will take a toll on them
Meanwhile, the woman would have moved on to get a man that will appreciate her
That's how it works, if you leave her for another woman, she will get another man that will treasure her, by the time you come back to her, her heart already belongs to another man
You will be left with no option than to endure
But for how long ❓ And you think you are making sense..smh! People judge other people's lives recklessly... Know the facts before you judge. |

sarrki: The border closure is 100% ok for us to be able to think inward
The bbc pidgin news which I copied is an attest that we are doing well as a nation 8
https://www.bbc.com/pidgin/tori-49817208 I laugh at the foolishness of Nigeria government over this border closure Thing. Do smuggled goods come in through official borders in the first place? Believe it or not, foreign rice still comes in even in larger quantity now than ever before and what the government has succeeded in doing is enriching bad customs who will now collect bigger bribe to allow the dare devil smugglers have their way and also enrich the smugglers who will now charge higher to smuggle in the rice and finally enriching the sellers in naija who will now sell at a very huge price. And guess what? Many Nigerians will still buy the foreign rice regardless of the high price. So the FG should look inward and find a way to improve the quality of the local rice to match the fireign ones and make sure the price is very cheap then watch if smuggling will not die a natural death. Closing the border won't solve a thing. |

Zhuhilat: How Do I Deal With This Level Of Disrespect From My Husband
Dear all
I and my husband are just 2years in marriage.
Every time we have issues concerning anything, he is always telling me to pack my things and leave his house or he will say things like you are off no importance to me and you bring me no value and stuff and stuff. But after a while he will apologize and say he doesn’t mean it.
Last month, what caused our fight was because my mum sent some food stuffs to us because she traveled and got them cheaply. He was angry because he felt that was disrespectful. And the argument degenerated to him telling me to leave his house,
i got tired, called his bluff and left the house but everyone advised me to go back and make it work., well except my dad. Mind you, this was the 5th time.
On my return, we talked about it(like we always do) and i thought it was genuine, and i said i was going to give it one more try.
Today, we had an argument because of baby food. I told hime to buy on his way back. I couldn’t go out because the whole road was terribly flooded .
But he didn't buy it, and that lead to an argument. And the next thing he told me was to fuc.k off and leave. Or he is leaving. As a matter of fact, he just left the house now 12:00am.
I am actually tired of it all. and right now, i don't think i have any love left for him or this marriage. I think he is cheating on me and for some reason i am beginning to look outside and crave attention, love and respect from someone else.
I don't want my child to grow up seeing me treated like this but most importantly , i don't want her to think it is okay to accept being disrespected and under valued like this.
Married people is this one of the challenges in marriage or what?
Why cant we have an argument that doesn’t lead to leave my house, i dont need you, you bring me no value and all
Also we are very very comfortable, i work and he works too.
Emotionally, i am done. I see absolutely no problem here. It is about how you respond to it. Please ignore him whenever he asks you to leave or tell him jovially that he will be the one to leave and you will be amazed how he will laugh over it. Most issues we see in our marriages are nothing to worry about. Please stay in your marriage and focus your energy on more important things. PEACE. |

lefulefu: not exactly true.outside nigeria a lady can approach u and strike a conversation with u and from there normal friendship can start.she might not tell u directly that she likes u but she will give u obvious signs .Toks u are in the uk nau so why u been economical with the truth.how many uk girls dey clam up and squeeze their face if a guy says hi like they do in nigeria .i am in the dominica here and over here a lady can approach u and strike a conversation with u. there is no timidity here but then in nigeria i believe the guys still a part of the blame cos in nigeria if a lady is bold enough to approach a guy she fancy to strike a decent convo they will be calling her ashawo.the way of doing things in nigeria has made many nigeria girls very timid and anti social.no be their fault. Maybe in Domina and not U.K. They are very laid back and timid here. |

lefulefu: well outside naija if a girl like u either she go give u very obvious signs that she likes or she might even approach u.its just that in naija if a lady approach a guy or make it obvious that she likes the guy then naija dudes will start tagging her as ashawo or cheap girl so dats why many naija babes dey always lock up.but the funny thing is that naija ladies outside nigeria also act the way non naija ladies act by approaching u or giving u obvious signs.if guys in naija start appreciating bold ladies then more will come out of their shells . It's the same Lefustic..most Ladies all around the world are laidback when it comes to approaching guys for romance and I guess it is their genetic makeup especially in the area of hard to get. Even if a man is the most ideal and perfect choice of a lady, she go still dey form which makes them a very complicated species. |

yeyeosoronga: Having a standard should never be about money, if we settle down to analyse it. But money makes life sweeter No woman should lower her standard in order to bear missus, and no man should settle either. Such marriages are oftentimes miserable ones. If you love comes into the picture, great. Afterall love covers a multitude of sins. However, if you lower your standards, there will always be that background resentment. That's not healthy for any relationship. I totally agree that having a standard is very ok but it must be a realistic one. Nevertheless, as I wrote, it is saddening that the culture of man making the first move in wooing a woman and not the other way round is making things difficult for ladies with high standards cos there are many men who meet the standards and strangely enough, these guys are single and hoping to meet a serious-minded lady but most ladies would rather hope that their standard comes to them first even when they see him every day. Quite sad. |

Well, if you haven't listen to Teni's New EP "Billionaire", you're missing a lot, Download Now! Rice still dey enter bro..forget closure. The FG is just allowing smugglers make insane money cos the rice don't even come in through the official borders in the first place. |

Do you know that 99% of ladies who are still single at marriageable ages have no business with singlehood? Many ladies pray to GOD every now and then for a spouse but unknown to them, GOD has blocked his ears to their prayers...WHY? Because God has already given them a spouse but they rejected his choice for them due to the preconceived unrealistic standards they have already created in their minds of what a good husband should be. The average woman does not really want a good man or a good husband in the real sense but what she wants is her own fantasy idea of what a good husband is supposed to be, in order words, she already has her MIND MADE HUSBAND...Whilst men may get away with this mind-made choice because they are at a vantage position due to their ability to walk up to any lady of their choice, a lady may find It very difficult to do the same...maybe things would have been easier if ladies can walk up to the man that has their standards to decisively woo them and make them fall for them, propose to them and stay married to them Whilst I totally agree that it is perfectly ok to set a standard as regards the type of husband you want, it is sacrosanct that you do not cross that line from realistic standards to fantasy and you can't pray to GOD to give you a good husband and at the same time give him conditions...if you want GOD to lead a good husband to find you then allow him to do just that. *Work on yourself to be independent financially and you won't care if your man is jobless, broke or earns 30k per month at the moment cos the state of being broke or poor is relative and temporary. *Sixpack or a good body frame does not equate to a good husband. *A big dck is not a guaranty that he will be a good husband. *That he is rich does not mean you are also rich. *You will hardly find a rich man that will be there for you whenever you need him. *It is very unrealistic to expect a good husband to act or look like the super romantic sexy F boys you have met in the past and hoping to turn a F boy into a husband is lame. *A man is not supposed to be cute like ladies who are regarded as the fairer sex or must be tall to be considered a good husband...what a man needs to have is a genuine desire for you. *You can never date a pastor, a divorcee, can't marry a man with kids, you can't date a workaholic and you want a rich man, you can't be with a guy who is not fluent, who talks too much, he has to belong to a certain tribe, religion or even church denomination, must have a certain skin color, must have good dress sense, must be based abroad or from a certain country, he must not be too young or too old as if age gap is a prerequisite for a good marriage... *He texts you or calls you too much or so into you and you feel he is not your type!...would you rather prefer he cares less? *You want a good guy or husband but you have bad manners, you act and dress indecently and your nude or semi-nude pics and videos are all over social media and you dare crave for a good man *Your feelings for a man as important as it is can not guaranty that he will have the same feelings for you and if you marry a man you have feelings for but does not have true feelings for, sister you are finished maritally. *You Have friend-zoned and you keep friend-zoning the good guys and running after bad boys like a jinxed lady and you still talk about how difficult it is to find good men... *You don't want to build a life with him cos you feel he will leave or cheat on you if he is made...strange!... I can go and on highlighting a series of unrealistic standards many ladies look for in a prospective good husband. No matter how you pray and no matter the number of the singles summit you attend, If you are not ready to forget your false standards and make a serious compromise, you may remain single for a very very long time. l believe that the most paramount desire of an unmarried lady is to have a GOOD husband who will love and care for her and any other thing should be secondary and when you pray to GOD FOR a husband, blank your mind from any Imaginary standard you have created for yourself and allow GOD HAVE HIS WAY or simply develop the balls to approach any guy that matches your imagination and stop bothering GOD.I hope this makes sense.
