simbated: I have been away from wifey for about a year due to work. We used to sex chat initially but that has stopped for a while now. She used to to tell me she was horrrnny before, but not in recent 4 months. We are good in every other aspects. She looks after our 2 kids.
Now we are about to be together again permanently, after a year of being away. She has said it to me about 3 times that I should not be angry if she doesn't feel like having sex when we see. I really don't understand what this means. I have asked her why and she said no rwason. Somebody help me. I have no suspicion that she is cheating though. I don't really know what this could mean. Has anyone had this experience before? Nothing wey we know go read on nairaland. First and foremost she is your wife and should not deny you your conjugal right whether she is attracted to you sexually or not...on your part you must sit her down and have a heart to heart discussion with jer as to why the attraction is no longer there... I don't want to conclude ahe is having an affair but whatever will make her lose sexual attraction to you means she is attracted to something else. |
Romance › Re: Ex Boyfriend Problem. So Confused by Toks2008(m): 4:21pm On Sep 29, 2019 |
Rach111: I dated my ex for 6yrs. Who was never proud of me, can't even post my pics on any social media, even the day I did he got angry and removed it.
Have never cheated on him because I hate double dating. Am a virgin and he was a virgin then. we promise to wait till marriage which made me to love him more. I always cook, clean do everything as if I was his wife.
But this guy never showed any signs that he will want to marry me. If I bring it up he keeps quiet over it.
After graduation we came back to Nigeria my grandmother who was like my mother because she was the one who took care of me, was sick I was in the hospital with her for 1 month he never showed up despite the fact that his house was close by. I saw so many signs that I was only wasting my time because he hardly calls even before then we had issues about a girl in his room which he denied everything yet I let it go because of love.
So through my savings from university I went to Dubai got a good job decided to forget about him for good and started dating a Canadian guy who was really nice to me and was willing to wait but my problem with him was that he always calls me sexy and shapy, big botty girl which made me feel like he was after my body because he was always telling me he can't wait to have me on his bed because he feels am too sexy.
Yes, I have great body no doubt, I became confused of the situation and decided to break up that was when my ex started begging for forgiveness that now his working in the bank and his planning to settle down by 2020.
My grandmother died I went to Nigeria and we met I realized he has slept with different girls and was even hiding his phone from me. Acting strange so I came back to Dubai continued my work and the white guy was trying to come back that he won't say things like that because he knows am different but the truth of the matter is that I don't even have any single love for the white guy. I still love my ex but my ex keeps talking to me like am a trash, I got angry and blocked him but he sent me massage on Facebook saying am childish and called me names this is someone who can never say things like that to me before but now he talks to me anyhow without respect because he feels am desperate for marriage because I always want to get married early, am in my early 20's.
Due to the situation all the guys both white and blacks asking me out for serious relationship have said no to all because I feel I can't love anyone again in my life because of my ex I don't know if am in my right senses have tried possible ways to forget him, I deleted all his pictures on my Facebook, always watching movies yet nothing seems to work.
Now am thinking of traveling to any European country look for a good white man so I can forget about him because I know I deserve better than him. I need advice if dating another guy mostly white can make me forget him or it might make things worst since am doing it because am trying to forget him. You have started the same journey that has made many ladies single to date. It is called a journey of confusion. No one can help you here until you meticulously help yourself. I honestly don't know what advice to give you but if i will give you any advice at all i will ask you to go back to your ex and remain with him since that is where your heart is BUT DON'T COME BACK TO DISTURB US WITH ANY SUPER STORY...Cheers. |

She fought with virtually every other housemate...
Unless she turns a new leaf pity the guy that will end up as her husband.

Ifemide123: I had to create this account today for this. It's really eating me up and I am tired. I am 24, will be 25 soon. I am this indoor person and so I hardly meet people. My first relationship ended like two years back and I haven't been in a reasonable one since then. I meet people online cos I don't get to meet them offline, most of the guys I meet are based in different state from mine and they don't mind me visiting, but once I tell them I live with my parents and would need their permission to come visit, they just stop getting in touch. I have lost over 5 potential partners because of this, they all feel we should be comfortable with ourselves first before putting parents matter into it. Some don't see it as a big deal living with my parents, they just find it funny that they wouldn't allow me go visit my boyfriend(note that they wouldn't know him bfr I go visit) I can't even think logically anymore that's why I am here to ask Wether the problem is with me or them. The only one I met that has travelled to come visit me is verbally abusive. He met my mum and wants things done the proper way. I am really exhausted. I guess gone are those days where you have to meet your potential wife in her father's house. I told my mum I want to start attending youth church and she object to it saying I can only change church after I get married. My sisters are lucky tho, they got a job outside our state and moved out of the house Your husband will locate you any which way so relax but try to go out to fun places...it has nothing to do with you still living with your parents...infact it is a plus. |

The man and woman are both excited infact the guy is more excited most times just that the ladies love the funfair more which makes it look as if they are more excited...so simply put...men are more excited about the marriage whilst women are more excited about the wedding ceremony. |

Nowenuse: @bolded. Wow, I can't believe you fell for this lady Guest007 and her pre-historic theories. Here was my reply to her comment and this is the truth.
Don't let Nigerian women localize your mind with this pre-historic behaviour of theirs. It is not a global trait for women. Other women in the modern world have evolved. The character she is talking of had it's global dominance centuries and millenia ago not in this modern age of ours.
Do you know that in the western world when a woman tells you NO the first time and you still go ahead disturbing her, she can sue you for sexual harassment? No wonder many Nigerian men get locked up abroad for things like this because we have allowed our women to program our minds stucked to a pre-historic lifestyle whereas other people in the world have evolved. This rubbish has to stop. Thanks to Toks2008 for a thread like this.
Most Nigerian mothers advice their daughters to this effect. They tell them to always play hard to get no matter how much they admire a man cos the man will take them for granted if he gets them easily. I am not entirely discarding this saying, but too much of it is a no no. I wonder how far this advice has taken Nigerian women when the majority of them still end up praying and seeking the face of God as their husbands cheat on them and treat them badly.
Nigerian ladies need to get it into their heads that no mature and reasonable man will take you for granted even if you say yes on the first approach or you approached him yourself, unless of course he is an immature fùckboy who is yet to know what he wants in life. Your good character, intelligence, confidence and good hygiene/grooming skills will always make him hold you in high esteem. Why you come get sense like this? Habba! This sense too much abeg. |

MYDEBBY: Dear Nairalanders, I greet you all.
Pls I need candid advice, I have dated my wife for over six years without an issue and now that we have done traditional rites and about to climax with white wedding she is giving flimsy excuses that she is no longer interested in me.
She is currently in final year and has drastically changed in her dressing and attitude towards due to influence of friends in school.
Often I do report incidences of her recent poor dressing to her parents after cautioning her she will channel the grievances to me.
The recent one made her so angry that she started recanting all my past mistakes which she and her family are aware of and have resolved since now using it as an excuse against me that she is no longer interested.
She kept mute for over two weeks due to anger yet I still transferred money twice to her but up till now she did not acknowledged it, only for her to send text that she need money for our daughters school fees. I then decide to visit them off campus where they stay yesterday with lots of provision yet she could not say a common thank you.
While I was still making peace with her asking her to forgive me for whatever wrong I have done to her by reporting her to her PARENTS, promising not to do so again, a guy knocked the door and she went out after the guy I asked a relation who was there who was the guy and he said he is my wife's friend, I quickly followed them on citing me the guy diverted after their discussion about me.
When we then entered the house I asked her who was the guy and she said that's not my business. I kept quiet.
After a while I called her parents to tell them the situation of things that their daughter said she is no longer interested they now asked us to come down to the village to see them this coming weekend.
I know things are not alright somewhere and as such I need straight forward advice on what to do.
Pls no insult just help out.
Thanks Una don born together abi? If yes biko just free her...she go run come back. |

gentlegenius: So what do you suggest I do? Call her once in a while? Visit her once in a while? Play the game she wanted?
She once gave me the excuse that she doesn't have time to go out with me. So why should I be the one to have time for her? This is where people got this thread twisted... It is about body language...as long as she gives you audience and maintains a friendly relationship then you are good...a hello hope you are good from you once in a while is cool not that you will be discussing romance with her.... with time she will come around...as I wrote..IT IS AL ABOUT BODY LANGUAGE. |
Romance › Re: Why A Man Should Never Chase A Woman. by Toks2008(op): 8:30pm On Sep 24, 2019 |
gentlegenius: I noticed that whenever those idle guys that have time to chase her comes around, she is always happy, even though she doesn't want to date them. This proves to me that she want every guy including me to play the chasing game with her. She supposed to notice from my body language that I had no time for such games. Anyways, I didn't just moved on like that. She had my number, so I told her to inform me anytime she is ready to go out with me. But unsurprisingly, she hasn't called for over a month now. I haven't called her either. Just don't neglect her even when you don't talk romance. |

Romance › Re: Why A Man Should Never Chase A Woman. by Toks2008(op): 7:59pm On Sep 24, 2019 |
gentlegenius: I agree with your bolded point above... But recently, I met an attractive young girl whom several guys were chasing in my area. She enjoyed the chasing, but it was very obvious that she was craving for me, even though I have never chased her or shown any interest in her. My friends noticed that she really like me and had strong feelings for me, so they urged me to go after her and win her love. I refused to rush after her even though I also had feelings for her. I took my time and gradually got closer to her. Her body language kept assuring me that she wanted me, so when I felt the time was right, I approached her and told her that I intend to take her out just for a date. I told her to pick a comfortable date and venue for us to meet. To my surprise, she showed no interest in going out with me. She started behaving as if she doesn't want to date me even through her body language keep betraying her. It was clear to me that she wanted me to play the chasing game with her which I have no time for. I ignored her and MOVED ON. In conclusion, some girl naturally love to be chased by all guys, including the ones they are craving for. The body language is key..you should have lingered. |

Bro make I try this last time...when you woo a lady and she tells you "let's be friends first" she is actually saying I like you but I want to know you more but there is a NO that suggests NO WAY...I NO DO..when faced with such just don't push it...if that is proving difficult in the lady's world then she needs to grow up. |
