A power mad prick who wants to lord his/ her power over you. The only real protection you can have as a female student is if your dad or guardian is a member of the faculty. Outside of that, lecturers can do pretty much what they want. Who is policing them? The only avenue available to the students is to record the man and spam social media.

Also, are you saying that failing a course is a license for a lecturer to harass you? So rather than aid the strugglers in your class, you should sexually harass or extort them? So what is the difference between these lecturers and naija police?

I'm not justifying the action of the lecturer, but there was this friend of mine that went to meet a male lecturer to help her in one of the courses she failed then in medical school.
This lecturer invited her over to his house and in the process wanted to sleep with her. This girl took to her heels. Now she's telling people that the reason why she left medical school was cos she refused sleeping with the lecturer.

According to Kiki Mordi, the investigation was carried out due to the clamor to expose these bad lecturers.
