I've met many "good guys" I wasn't crazy about... I've also met some "bad boys" I've been crazy about.. But non of these men were my husband because I will not marry someone I don't adore and someone that doesn't adore me..we must both be completely in love with one another




And lastly, I see soooooo many posts about how to ensure a good marriage. I've listened to countless people offer advice..and what I've concluded is leave it to the Lord. Pray God grant you the right person for you...because there is honestly no way to predict the success of a marriage, except for one ordained in the heavens. I think the problem is people are too wayward to submit to the will of God..they marry because it's *time* or because he has *money* or she seems like the *ideal* wife...it's almost impossible to make the decision of who you can happily spend the rest of your life with, without seeking the hand of God. Some were best of friends and the marriage still crumbles, some people marry after a week and live happily ever after. There is no recipe or full proof method, just God.

My candid advice for the ladies

I simply laugh at the naivety of some ladies who claim they are in search of a man who will truly love them and appreciate them.

Why i laugh is because deep inside these ladies,they know if a man truly desires and appreciates them but what they are actually looking for is totally different from what they claim.

I have heard many ladies set standards as regards the type of man they want and there is absolutely nothing wrong in that except the fact that they cross the line by wanting to be with a man they have strong feelings for and even if they meet a man that truly desires them,as long as they don't have feelings for such man,its a NO.

I'm sorry to tell you this truth; many ladies will end up been an object of ridicule in their affairs until they learn the fact that all you need is a man that will truly love,appreciate and value you and every other thing is secondary.

Don't be carried away by his money,looks or razzmatazz but be sensitive to know if he sincerely wants you and cherish you. If you are fortunate to have a prince charming who also truly desires you,good for you but never make this a must.

Yes i agree that your feelings towards this person is important but your marital happiness does not lie in what you feel for him rather its the way he feels towards you.

Of what use will it be if you end up marrying a man you are crazy about but will make you cry all the time?,Of what use will it be if you end up with that man that has all you want except the fact that he turns you to a punching bag or makes you unhappy?

YES I DO but Over the years i have realized that LOVE is the most wrongly used word in the dictionary.

I have seen many people who professed love to each other just to make a 360 degree turn and then i tend to wonder if they ever understood that word love.

I have even heard of a situation where a man found it so easy to walk away from his wife and children after many years just to conclude that what he felt all through the years was probably pity and not love.

It has become the norm for us to now see a million dollar wedding crashing down even before it began and then these same people who were all smiles and curdled up on the wedding day, exchanging vows will turn against each other with so much hatred.

Husbands kill same woman they made a vow to love and wives do same to their hubbies even when they have borne the same man children.

How many husbands can still tell their wives "i love you" even if she denies him sex? how many husbands will still love their wives if she refuses to do her duties as a wife in the house? and how many women will still love their husbands even if he fails to live up to his status?

Judging from all these happenings i have decided to stop using that word love and any one who uses such word to describe his or her feelings for the partner must really take a chill pill and think deep before uttering such.

If from the real life situation i see, i think it will be reasonable for anyone to wait for at least 20years of being with your partner before you can truly say those words "I LOVE YOU" even if we all know that even after 30years people can still turn against each other but at least 20years is good enough to pass that assertion.

I have come to believe that LOVE can only exist between GOD and man and what humans feel is just a temporary feeling of desire which can be in form of initial gragra(Adrenaline love), infatuation(Unreasoning love),Lust or maybe a superficial love as a result of what you are getting from that person and in the absence of such will diminish.

Yes maybe i am over-flogging it,maybe we still have true love between very rare partners but the truth is that i would rather seek for a true friendship, a true bonding which i have found to be more realistic than that facade called True love.
