Now this is where thousands of fools miss it, lets say the faith they had b4 he came was the size of a nut (if we want to quantify it) yet they could not heal, why would he now say they should rather possess the size of the smallest seed on earth. does it make sense?. That should tell you that Jesus Christ was sounding figuratively there. Meaning there was something he meant by the word "MUSTARD SEED". MUSTARD SEED is the Kingdom of God. Matt 13:31-32 " 31 He told them another parable: "[size=14pt]The kingdom of heaven is as a mustard seed[/size], which a man took and planted in his field. 32 Though it is the smallest of all your seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and perch in its branches." Recall in the initial scriptures, he said IF YE HAVE FAITH AS A MUSTARD SEED, Now connecting the two, you'll come to understand that what he meant there was ". . . IF YE HAVE FAITH AS THE KINGDOM OF GOD, ye can tell this mountain to move and it will" . What is the Kingdom of God, it a Life, it is a people, it is a belief system, it is a nature. So therefore when he said "if ye have faith like a mustard seed ye can move mountain" he meant " If ye have faith like the people under the system of God and of His nature ye can move mountain" And pls note that this faith (the power to heal) comes in measures and the scriptures has said that "THE EFFECTUAL FERVENT PRAYER OF THE RIGHTEOUS ONES WILL MAKE TREMEMDOUS POWER (power to heal) AVAILABLE!" |

At this state i think even if she's taken away she might still make her way thru' to this boy or eventually go insane. As for prayers we've had series , but then a prayer with solution should be one done in agreement by both parties which they've both rejected @Tudor, There are two kinds of folks who make their way to threads, 1. Contributors 2. Pests the second you are.!. |

I learnt of this yesterday and I've never being this confused all my life. She grew up to be amongst the few ones you could look at and predict a good future for in my church, and a cool "brother" joined the church a month back this year. He(19yrs) and She(16yrs old) both began friendship which to many including myself thought was a simple one without strings attached. You ask my little friend about r/ship and she'll quote scriptures to tell you the norms and vices involved with the act. Trust me she was looked upon as a model by both old and young. She was "matured"! I received a call 2 nites ago by her mum telling me her baby was acting strangely lately, in her room was pasted the pixes of her newly found love- the young lad everywhere with love inscriptions here and there. then i perceived this as unusual and fixed to talk to her last nite, to my amazement she confessed she's got involved in a blood oath with this young boy who got her into the act.  Presently the girl cannot stay 5mins from this boy, they've had sex like God knows how many times, she is presently looking sicky and pale. I have tried to go through almost every scripture i know but cant seem to find any case of such as a means to the solution. Pls i need help. What can i do to save my little friend in the church. I learnt it could even lead her to insanity! |

To say i have apprehended and absorbed GOD would mean I HAVE BEING BIRTHED, INITIATED, and taught to/and experienced the true Life (called the ZOE) which HE HAS PASSED UNTO HIS SON TO GIVE TO THOSE WHO COME UNDER THE ABODES OF HIS LORDSHIP. It is very important for you and me to understand that miracles still exist and are performed daily, even though we rarely see them. Because of the veiling power the fake ones have against the real ones. They have more money(s) to air miracle programs while the real ones barely have what to even take care of themselves. That said, you must know that Miracles have their root in something, and that root is called the POWER of GOD - dunamos (a living force that can be passed unto another person). As for Jesus Christ it was said that He had the Fulness of the Power of God in Him. And this fulness did not just come on him but after he had gone thru' a strong fasting for 40days. This means that dunamos comes in quantity gradually until one will be FILLED. Ask me how, Do you recall when the woman with the issue of blood touched on Christ,you remember that he spoke immediately saying "I FELT HEALING POWER GOING OUT FROM ME"-Luke.8:46. Its just like filling a bottle with water, a little leakage will mean that the quantity will never be as it was. do you understand? Recall, we are not Jesus Christ, we are the followers of Jesus Christ, and as such it means WE ARE CONSTANTLY LEARNING the ways of Jesus Christ and his mighty acts. We may not get it all at first but with time in his word and constant faith we will do it. The disciples who witnessed Jesus in the flesh, who saw all the mighty deeds he performed still made their own mistakes/gaffes when cases similar to what Christ did was brought to them. Matt 17:15-21 15 Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is epileptic, and suffereth grievously; for oft-times he falleth into the fire, and off-times into the water. 16 And I brought him to thy disciples,[size=13pt] and they could not cure him [/size] . . . 19 Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast it out? 20 And he saith unto them, Because of your little faith: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. 21(But this kind goeth not out save by prayer and fasting .)ASV You see even the disciples could not even perform as expected even though they dined and wined with the Great Christ himself. What is worth noting is that after the gaffes, Jesus christ came in and taught them how they ought to get result the next time it comes. These MOGs are not God, they are men with limitations who still suffer doubts too. hence they faulter or will i say perform little when faced with great challenges. Why? because they are still learning and growing in the grace of Jesus' might. When i believe in the power of Christ i can heal all many of sickness but not immediately, i must first learn to grow in the grace. |
