One important thing before death for any man is to ensure one is in God's good books

This revelation in as much as it is a call for repentance does not entirely reflect some truths about Hell Fire in the Bible.
First, Hell Fire will be commissioned at the end when Satan, his false Prophets and the people he deceived will be finally removed from the scene (Read the book of Revelations for proper perspective)
Satan at this moment according to the Bible doesn't live in Hellfire
Second, Jesus was said to have preached to the dead persons locked up in Hell(Not Hellfire ), from Adam to the time of Jesus' death. The gate of Hell was opened and those prisoners were released. The Saints visited the relatives at the time of Jesus' Resurrection
Third, the story of the Rich man and Lazarus, a great analogy of the structure of Hell(not Hellfire ) by Jesus himself shows that the dead who were in Hell could not interact with the living let alone granting an Interview from Hell
Four, some demons are in abyss and Hellfire was not used in the Bible interchangeably with abyss

Only God has the power to curse Christians. But there is no place for Him cursing his own in the new testament. It cost God much to redeem Christians(born again) from the curse he placed in the laws (old testament)

I travelled to another town last week, I had to pay tithe to the church I attended then.In my church today, pastor said if u pay your tithe to other churches,it is a curse and you must repent. Is there anywhere in d Bible it is written thus? What my Bible tells me is to bring my tithes to the storehouses so that there will be food in His house, does it mean other churches are not the storehouses of God?

As a matter of fact, God looks at the foolishness of folks who were fore warned of men like Rev Chris Oyakhilome and others marketing counterfeit gospel, with no surprise. Yet in His mercy he allows constant exposure of the activities of such men for what they are so the wise will look and run from such assemblies

Pastor Chris' cross over message is relayed in all the Christ Embassy Churches and to control the crowd coming into the auditorium, it is usually a ticketed event and you don't get the ticket at the gate but from the church. This has been the norm for more than 4 years now. To participate in the cross over service, you don't have to go to the main auditorium. There are satellite churches everywhere to view the service freely.

You have failed to address the questions raised. Nobody said there were no Satellite Churches where the program could be relayed. The writer raised questions on the Biblical import of the activities at Love worlds particularly the gate fees. Can you raise a single passage from the Bible to support your defense above.
Would Jesus have done the same or approved of such? That's the pertinent question address that

However, all the statements are not prophecy.Prophecies in the true sense of it comes emphatically as Thus says the Lord and in that case the messenger risks called a false prophet when the fulfilment is in doubt

There is nothing wrong in questioning the authenticity of some gospels like the ones peddled by the Oyakhs. The Bible says(Paul wrote) even if Angels bring a different Gospel other the one we received from Christ, we shouldn't receive such a person
As for Chris using every opportunity like he did at the cross over service, to project himself as sinless especially in front of his followers regarding his wife, my prayer for him is that he steps down from his arrogant self, reopen discussion with his wife, apply forgiveness where ever necessary. Adeboye is a general when it comes to winning souls. He has been in that business genuinely for decades.
Listing his faults or trying to compare him to proven Charlatans like the Christ Embassy fellows and talknado prophets is unfair.

The good thing about Pastor Adeboye is that he has not failed to admit his faults publicly, pray for forgiveness publicly and make adjustments. Over the past few years, I can count a number of such adjustments. This is a mark of a man who genuinely loves God unlike the arrogant Charlatans who will never admit to a mistake. For this attributes and much more he is cherished. He is not God and does not see himself as God, like some of his fans would have us believe
In my opinion, among all the Pastors of mega Churches in Nigeria, Pastor E A Adeboye is the most qualified to have the appendage of a Man of God attached not that he is more powerful/knowledgeable than the rest in spiritual things but because he is the least arrogant and regularly he weighs his errors vis a viz the Bible.

However, I had hoped Pastor E A Adeboye will resist the temptations of adopting the trends such as commercialization of the Gospel and Salvation, which allows for all sorts of things not necessarily bad but ungodly and wicked. For instance, building a university that the average church member will struggle to afford, making the redemption camp in addition to being a spiritual center, a place for buying and selling Jesus related products which otherwise should have been distributed free to members

Happy birthday to God's Field Marshal I could have teary-eyed talking about you and how you made me love God and his word. I remember stumbling into a CEC by chance and seeing the members stand up as you walked in to deliver the word. I remember the puzzled look of disgust that masked my face. That look soon phased out the more I listened. You have a unique way of sharing the word. Sometimes the anointing would be so strong that the hairs at the back of my head would be at attention. Other times my heart would burn with fire and an unquenching desire to change my world. The calling on you is not in doubt to anyone that is of the spirit. I remember listening to that message: the one very simple yet powerful, the one worth-hearing, and saying to myself "I know I would never be the same again". And true to it, I changed and am still changing into that very image that Christ wants me to be.

If I was to write about all the things I have gained from being mentored by you, I suppose all the books in the world would not be enough.

God spared Calvin's life till he died peacefully at the age of 55, most likely from physical exhaustion that was the result of preaching long hours every day and twice on Sunday, writing commentaries, attending to Protestant mission works around Europe, etc.

Those were true men of God...

Correction noted i.e. Calvin . I shed tears when I read some history books on lives of these men, the persecution,afflictions they withstood in the hands of evil men and impostors. Reminiscent of Paul's experience 2Tim10-17
