Thanks to the OP and all who contributed, for this wonderful thread. It has given me joy. I pray that God will bless me (and other wives who desire to be mothers) with beautiful and healthy children so that stories like these will continue to be.

Thank you and may God grant your desire.

Honestly i cringe at posts like these. Why were you even having a bath with your nephew in the first place. I think thats unecessary. plus why tell him tales bout genitals being weapons? It would have been easier to just explain that its your pee pee just like his except the difference in size has to do with age. Some "awkwardness" can be avoided if we just tell these children the truth. Instead of making them have "ideas"
Thought this thread was bout children? Who cares what youre packing. Mscheewwww

Thanks totfulguy, you havevmade a lot of us laugh. God bless you

Thank you too. And you are right on the objective of this thread... It is dedicated to the innocence of children and not spoiling them.

My daughter (2+) was waiting to be picked up after she had been dressed for school. I heard her scream "Daddy" and I noticed a fly trying to perch on her lunch box. I paused a bit to see how my daughter would handle the situation. The unrelenting fly kept trying to perch on her lunch box and the next thing I hear my daughter say to the fly was "Stop it". I wish the fly understood.

Celebrities / Re: Shocking! Popular Yoruba Actress Turns Monster After Using Bleaching Cream *pic by Totfulguy: 2:33am On Oct 04, 2015
akksplendor:
Wonder they say shall never end, that is the adage that aptly illustrate the pity condition of a popular Yoruba actress, who is rumored to have turned a monster after consuming series of peroxide creams. The picture below was leaked to us by a Splendormag reader on bbm, and it was tagged to the name of a star actress who shuttles between Nigeria and UK but we'll leave out her name. She lives at Magodo Estate, Lagos Nigeria. She got into acting in 2002. She was said to have taken the photo with a self-timer camera and sent it to a very close friend on bbm asking for her advice on solution to the bleaching. The friend unfortunately shared it with another friend. Now, the pic is gradually going viral. We want to believe this didn’t happen because of money or fashion but her stupidity, because whether you are dark or light in complexion, you will still be attractive to a real man. So why bleach?

Let's hope she will get the confidence to come out in public soon and by the time she finally comes out and her identity becomes public, remember you read it here first. wink

She is a failed bleaching project like many others. And they will never learn...YOU CANNOT FIX WHAT GOD HAS DONE RIGHT!

I think this will be a good relief from the load of bad news we get all over the place. I belief it will be nice to hear your fun moments with your little ones at home. Children in their innocence say and do very funny things. We will like to hear your experience. Let me share mine.
Listen to this conversion between my 4 year old nephew and his father who is a sound engineer. They are in the living room and his father was fixing a microphone and has just dropped it on the table. His son walks in and picks up the microphone.

Father: Sampson drop the microphone I don't want it to fall from your hand.

Son: (Hiding the microphone behind his back) It is not your crophone. It is Mycrophone.

I couldn't laugh more.

Travel / Re: A Discriminating Experience In Poland by Totfulguy: 2:34pm On Sep 22, 2015
pansophist:
It was before my departure, I was patiently queuing about to board a flight from Katowice (Poland) to Eindhoven (Netherlands) at 07.15 am. While waiting, I was approached by a male employee who asked me about an unknown baggage found somewhere around the airport, I courteously replied that its not mine and I suggested that he should make a public announcement about it before passengers began to board the aircraft. When it was my turn to board, I approached the passenger service assistant and gave him my ID and mobile boarding pass but to my dismayal, he explicitly stated that I will not be allowed to board while asking me to wait at the corner for his boss to handle the situation. He wouldn’t listen to my subsequent plea as he rudely separated me from the curiously observing queuers, as I waited for the arrival of his supposed boss.

Three minutes later, the middle-aged boss arrived and as expected, collected my ID and interrogated me with the same question asked by the previous vicenarian employee, I repeatedly told him that I knew nothing about the baggage but he wouldn’t accept this as the truth. He further claimed that I was caught on camera dropping the bag and he would release the video to me if I keep denying, I was amazingly shocked at such magnitude of lie against me. I ask if I could see the video, wondering if I was mistaken for someone else, He agreed to show me but inferred that I wont be able to board the flight because after the nitty-gritty, the plane would be late on arrival, then its was dawm on me that this is getting serious. I replied angrily that if I miss my flight, I would sue the legal-person(s) involved. On hearing this, he immediately facilitated my boarding and directed me to the boarding gate. I asked again if I could see the video where I was caught dropping the baggage but he refused and reminded me that I am delaying the flight, in an attempt to diverge my pending questions. I was vehemently mortified. As I entered the plane from the front door, I noticed the fear and irritation gripping the passengers due to my chagrin. I approached to my assigned seat number, the passenger next to me wanted to be sure if I should be sitting close to her, as she was scared. I have never been publicly humiliated to this extent before. Throughout the whole trip, I was filled with so much anger, being victimized, guilt, and disregard. I wondered why I was handpicked and accorded such degrading treatment; I strongly believed it’s because of my phenotypically dark skin as I am the only ''non white'' on the flight, since no public announcement was made to inform if someone misplaced the baggage.

I have been a denizen in Poland and I have never experienced such degrading treatment throughout my time there. This treatment created a deep hole in my heart and brought to my awareness the reserved prejudice deeply rooted in the heart of the airport workers who ganged up and treated me so unfairly due to my dark skin. It is expected of public workers to be competent with customer’s relation skills, especially in airport serving passengers from all parts of the world. This experience has made me unnecessarily sensitive as I was made to tacitly understand I would have to prove my innocence if I’m unluckily present in any mix-up situation, that I will be assumed guilty by default with the burden of proving myself innocent resting on me, that this experience is but a mere trigger of an existing presupposition. The most painful part is that my feelings were completely ignored and at the very least of my expectation, no apologies issued to the aggrieved.

I am writing this letter without prejudice, and all I ask for is that the necessary authorities should equip its employees with customer relationship skills and method in reaching coherent conclusions without subjecting anyone to an inhumane treatment, and also as a deterrent from this happening to subsequent passengers.

Young man (or old man)...I know you were upset by what happened to you and this may evoked the grammarian in you. But isn't there a simpler way to express yourself than with this big and poorly aligned commotion of an essay. It will always be easier to say "chew" than "masticate". The simpler the better.

A close friend of mine discussed this issue over the weekend. He said he needs an urgent advice so I decided to bring it up here. This is his story.
Michael (not real name). 28 years has been in a relationship with this girl for four years. According to him they are actually planning to get married next year. The girl in question resides in the states (united states) and she's working and also schooling there. But every year she spends her holidays down here in Nigeria, it was during one of her holidays that Michael met her. To cut a love story short they both fell in love, so much in love that the decided to take there relationship to the next level. Michael is a banker and he wants to settle down with this girl. According to him he has done a formal introduction to the girls parents and the agreed to accept him as their in-law. They have even fixed there wedding sometime next year after his fiancee graduation. Now he has a serious problem, during her last visit to Nigeria last month Michael noticed something different in her. He said that she suffers from chronic mood swings and sometimes extremely depressed. At first he wasn't bothered because he said that when they started dating initially he saw those traits in her but waved it off as her normal behaviour And he also said that it only happens to her whenever she's angry or the have a little bit of quarrel. But this her last visit revealed otherwise. This time according to him she gets a bit violent and needs a powerful subduing before she calms down. Then to his greatest shocker he noticed some pills she takes, when he went online to search what those pills are for he discovered it was for patients with Bi polar disorder...
Now my friend is really confused he doesn't know what to do. He truly loves this girl but he's afraid of her behaviour and since they're planning to get married there's no going back. What suitable advice can we give him because this is serious. embarassed

Mods abeg front page...

Its not enough to just love her and marry her...Its wise think of the children who will likely inherit the traits she has but who have no hand in your "love affair". If she is taking pills it mean it is serious! So think about it. My take that is!

I met my boyfriend online. We were in a long distance relationship for a 2 months before I moved back to his town.
Before we met, he told me he smoked cigarettes but socially. I was ok with that. I thought that If he needed a cigar to calm his nerves , its alright. I do not smoke.

After we met, It turns out that he's a chain smoker. He takes at least 3 packs of cigarettes a day. After a month of dating him, I just couldn't take it anymore. After we visit each other, I reek of cigarettes. My clothes, my purses, my hair, the bed-sheet. Everything stinks. Sometimes I have to re-do my laundry. He smokes inside the house and car so the smoke is directly on me .

I talked to him about this. I told him that the smoke stinks everywhere up so bad and that I have to wash my clothes after I visit him. He got really mad and we didnt talk for days.

I love my boyfriend but I cannot take the smoking. Its also starting to affect him medically , his teeth is rotten and he coughs chronically. I tell him to stop at least for his health and he starts to give examples of non-smokers who died early or smokers who live long.

I am at my wits end because everything and everywhere stink and cigarette butts are everywhere.

How do I tell him to stop?? Or do you think its time to end the relationship.

No dont leave him...wait till you die of second-hand smoking or he kills you when he is high on crack!

Family / Share This If You Oppose Child Sexual Defilement! A Father's Prayer! by Totfulguy: 12:53am On Sep 07, 2015
A Father's Prayer

May my son never be my grandson nor my daughter my granddaughter.

May I never touch what is holy in an unholy way and blame the devil, for if he cannot push me off a cliff,
he cannot push me to lust for my child. Every child is my child.

May I never say “it was the devil or the child” who should know better? Every child in my care is precious.
Every moment of honest care is to be treasured.

May I helm my urges and feel nothing than a father’s love for my child(ren) and cherish them for the joy they bring.
My child does not deserve my lust but my love.

May they rot in their flesh who defile children, theirs or others?
For they give free reign to their filth and wreck a tender life forever.

May those who change their ways pay with remorse the rest of their lives,
for it will never be right no matter who says it, that it is okay to abuse them.

May I scream the loudest where I see the abuse of a child. If I walk away, may it be to get help.
If I do nothing, may my sleep be just a lying down without rest.

For when I abuse a child, I bite a seed before it is planted. How do I expect it to grow?

Crime / Re: Daddy Touches Me, Puts His Manhood In My Mouth, Gives Me Money- 7yr Old(photo) by Totfulguy: 12:49am On Sep 07, 2015
midolian:
A seven-year-old girl (names withheld) has narrated how her father paid her after sexually abusing her at their Ojokoro Housing Estate, Meiran, Ijaiye, Lagos, residence.

Chukwuemeka Odunzie

The primary three pupil said: “My daddy usually gives me money after touching my private part or putting his penis in my mouth. He touches my private part when my mother is outside washing clothes or when she is not in the house.”
The victim’s father, identified as Chukwuemeka Odunzie, allegedly started defiling his daughter early last year.

Narrating her ordeal, the victim’s mother, Mrs Odunzie, said: “Last year, my son told me that his younger sister was fond of playing with her private parts. It sounded strange that a seven-year-old child would be doing that.

“I will talk to her, scold her and sometimes beat her. There was a time I told my husband.

“All he said was that if she was acting strangely I should take her to any of these white garment churches. I was alarmed when one day, while we were in the sitting room, she started touching and playing with herself.

She confesses to mother

“Immediately, I called her inside the room and asked her what the problem was. I asked her if anyone was fiddling with her private parts. She said it was her father that always touched her private parts and that after touching her private parts, he would give her money.

“I confronted my husband when he returned from work but he denied vehemently. I reported a case of defilement to Ebenezer Divisional Police and the policemen invited my husband for questioning.

“He was arrested later by the police, who gave me a report to take my daughter to the hospital. The doctor said there had been no penetration, but that there is an opening in her virginal and advised that the victim be tested for infection.

Family pressure

“By the time we came back from the hospital, the IPO said it was a family issue and that we should go home and settle the case.

“Members of his family were shouting, saying that I had no right to report the case to the police, that it was a family issue that should be treated as one. They pressurized me till I withdrew the case, after which he promised not to defile our daughter again.

“After I withdrew the case, my husband began to beat the children at the slightest provocation. And at times, he would beat them for no tangible reason.

“Two weeks ago, it happened again. I asked her what she did for her father that made him give her money without giving her siblings. That was when she said that daddy gave her the money after touching her private part.

“Her siblings said it had been ongoing for a while and that they refused to tell me because the last time they did, their daddy kept beating them.
“He puts it in my mouth”

“Her brother said whenever I was not around, or I was outside washing clothes, daddy would send him and his other siblings inside the bedroom, while he would ask the victim to kneel down in between his legs and bend her head towards his manhood.

“She also confirmed that after touching her, daddy would put his penis in her mouth.
“There was even a time my daughter was caught in the act with a four-year-old boy, who is a neighbour’s child.”

In his defense, the victim’s father, Chukwuemeka Odunzie, admitted that it was only once he abused his daughter and that he was not doing it for occult reasons.

Reacting to the issue, the Co-coordinator, Project Alert, Josephine Effah Chukwuma, said: “Apart from ensuring that the law takes it course, the main task is how to rehabilitate this little girl, whose life has been messed up by her father.

“This is because the abuse was not a one-off thing as the victim had become so accustomed to the act, that when she feels the urge and there is no one to touch her, she touches herself.
“There is need to rehabilitate her and her siblings, who watched.”

Politics / Re: Obasanjo: In 2 Months Under Buhari, We Are Witnessing Nigeria Of Our Dream by Totfulguy: 7:08pm On Aug 23, 2015
midolian:
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has said in just two and a half months of the current administration of President Muhammadu Buhari, Nigerians were already witnessing the Nigeria of their dream.

Speaking at his Hilltop residence in Abeokuta when officials of the National Association of Nigerians Students (NANS) paid him a visit on Friday,  the former President called for unalloyed support for the new government, adding, “in the last two and a half months, Nigerians have started to witness a Nigeria of their dreams,”

Noting that the country had tottered towards the precipice so many times but God had not allowed it to tumble, Obasanjo said, "When one takes a look at everything, the most crucial, and vital conclusion is that God loves Nigeria."

He said: "We thank God for peace even after the election. No single individual is a paragon of perfection. There is no Messiah except Jesus Christ. But there are people who still stick out their neck for the good of Nigerians.

"Thank God we have such as a leader now. What we have witnessed in the last two and a half months is that our dreams are coming true. We must give unalloyed support to the government.”

Speaking further, he said: "Many had thought after the 2015 general elections, Nigeria would be no more. Some had sent their families abroad. Some know the NADECO route. I don't know the NADECO route.

"I don't have anywhere to go. But to the surprise of many of them, God did it in a miraculous way. The election took place, though some did not want it to take place. But let us thank God it took place. We must also thank those who conducted the elections.”

The former President said no matter what the critics of President Buhari might be saying, "I will work for the success of this current dispensation.”

He, however, said criticisms that were objective and positive were welcome where necessary.

Canvassing support for the Buhari government, he told the visiting students that there was no alternative to democracy adding, "the alternative to democracy is worse than democracy. I experienced that. Abacha put me in prison and I was about to be killed. If it was under democracy (democratic rule) that would not happen."

He also spoke on the current campaign against terror, noting that President  Buhari took the right decision by giving the military a November deadline to end the Boko Haram insurgency.

He said setting a target was part of military war strategy to measure the success or failure of a particular operation.

"President Muhammadu Buhari took a right decision by telling the military to quash the Boko Haram insurgents by November. It is not good to just leave everything open-ended. It is a strategy in the military to set a target for any operation. This will enable those concerned to work hard. Having a target is necessary. Even if that target was not met, the people concerned would have something to work with."

Obasanjo who cited the Nigerian civil war as an example, said the military had set a six-month target to crush the Biafran renegades, but the war extended to 30 months.

He said: "For those of us who were involved in the Nigerian civil war, we set a six-month target to end the Nigeria-Biafra war, but it extended to 30 months."
Vice President, NANS, Ogunkuade Oluwatosin, who spoke earlier, said the students' body recognised the doggedness and contributions of the former president to the success of the 2015 general elections.

He said they wanted the Buhari administration to extend its anti-corruption war to the education sector.

Oluwatosin  said: "Your fatherly contribution to the development of Nigeria is visible, even three months after the general elections.

"We need your contribution to move Nigeria to Nigeria of our dreams. We want student-youth inclusion in the government of President Muhammadu Buhari," he added.

The rate this little children are learning about everything this days is just giving me headaches. They learn both good and bad from everything around them, they learn from daddy, mummy, auntie, sister, brother, nollywood, hollywood, bollywoods, name them.

Just imagine last month i went to visit a friend in a particular neighbourhood in calabar, as i was busy chilling with my guy and talking in his room, this little girl whom i later learnt to be the daughter of his neigbour peered through the curtain and let herself in uninvited, my friend scolded her for not greeting which she did immediately, we continued our gisting and take little notice of her as she played with the dvd dics around the tv, she now came to the bed where i was and continued her play there, i was gisting and laughing too before i notice that she has played very close to me, i stopped and asked her name, classs and school as was normal which she responded, i continued my gist before i felt her hand touch my legs, innocently as i taught her to be i didn't give much attention to it until she was so close that she stretched out her hand and i felt her grab my dick, HOLY MOSES!!

Tears in my eyes and a lesson for me!

I jumped up and shouted,my friend pulled her up and gave her a very sharp konk, GOOD LORD am i dreaming or what? I looked at her and she was oblivious of the magnitude of what she has just done, my friend pushed her out and went to make a report to her parents, the mum came and apologized and it was settled, when she left i learnt that she is living in a one room apartment with her parents, now only god knows what she might have been seeing or hearing at nights when they might have taught her sleeping.

We talked more on this and agreed that it is very wrong for couples living in a one room apartments to have sex at nights with there wards in the same room, you might think they are sleeping but never make such a mistake, i also learnt that this was not her first time as she has previously done such on two occasions. I dont want to go into how some movies and shows both local and foreign has destroyed innocent minds. Let us protect this young ones from sex corruption and abuse.

In anticipation of the forthcoming Sallah, he'd collected 150 birds on Thursday, August 6 but little did he know that exactly two days later, he'll be counting his loss as all the birds, which were in brooding, died as a result of flooding occasioned by what didn't seem like a heavy rainfall at first, until the damage was assessed.
The pictures below tell the sad story of how 150 two-day old chicks drowned while we're inside the house without knowing their own had been flooded. sad

So sorry!
Career / Re: I Have Never Believed In Going Around And Applying For Jobs by Totfulguy: 2:18pm On Jun 26, 2015

Though I would never have rejected a well paid job. But when it was not forth coming I had to make use of every opportunity available for me. I finished my National Diploma in 2007 at Petroleum Training Institute (Industrial Safety and Environmental Engineering Technology), Effurun (Best Student of my class). I was not so determined at applying for jobs and I never did. Rather I applied for Industrial experience which was easier to get than employment. I started with Environmental Health Office in 2007. After one year I moved to Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) -still industrial experience.

When I completed my experience I stayed back as a casual staff where I was preparing to get admission back to school for my Bachelor's degree. I had admission in 2010 to study Chemical Engineering in UNIUYO, through UME - not even direct entry.

I hussled, did weekend home lesson, registered a consulting business and did minor consulting services in downstream Petroleum Sector. In my sophomore year I won the PTDF scholarship for my programme. Within the five years, I went back to DPR for more six months industrial experience and Exxonmobil for another six months experience. Now I am a graduate with experience (graduated best in my class with 4.40 CGPA). Looking ahead.

I'm not so much moved with applying for jobs - though would not hessitate to get a good offer that would come on merit. I'm planning to make the consulting business I registered more organised with full incorporation. I picked interest in Organic oils, Soap, and Detergent in my undergraduate - had done a project on that.

I'm now working on raising money to setup a plant for production of these products. Presently i'm partnering with a collegue and we are running an evening school. I have always approached life with a positive mindset. Though not too rich (financially) right now but i'm not begging. Sponsored myself successfully through out my degree. Built a mini flat in my father's compound and have a great wealth of experience in life and career. I believe my story can be of encouragement to someone.

I hear vision and determination. Keep it up!

At 9am this morning I heard an unusual cry and screaming from a compound next to mine. I moved closer and after a close observation I discovered a guy was trying to rape a girl. I quickly called on my cousin and I swiftly climbed over the fence and shouted at whoever it was to come out, immediately a young girl ran out crying with blood in her mouth and bruises on her body and young boy came out sweating and started explaining without any question from me that he was only playing with her.

I asked the girl, and she said the boy was trying to rape her. The guy was a gateman while the girl was a maid in that house so I quickly asked for their boss's number and put a call throughtto him and luckily their boss was still within the Estate and before 10mins time he showed up and we took the guy to the police station! he started crying and begging that is the devil's handwork And that was when he mentioned that he is 25yrs old and the gal is just 17yrs old, what a pity!

As I post this now the boy is already in the police station crying and wishing he could turn back the hands of time but it is too late cause I am ready to follow this issue up and make sure he is prosecuted. We must fight rape, abuse and violence against women! every rapist must face the law. Thanks for your time for reading this. And please let's put hands together to stop this violence called Rape.

Thank you for your intervention! IGNORE any stupid comments to the contrary!

This REALLY SAD for me AS A PERSON. I will advocate that women should be trained to handle person safety equipment like pepper spray, tazers and any other PSE that can be hidden in a bag or concealed in wallet and can be deployed with speed. Senseless deaths like this should NEVER HAPPEN. This things are on Jumia and other online stores. http://www./candid-pepper-spray-personal-safety-product-psp-116446.html
