Thats my country, I am proud to be Naija for now |
Ojukwu contributed to the problems of the Igbos, he led a senseless battle. At the beginning the Ibos were the president and the most educated in the military but because of the madness of Kaduna Nzeogwu and Ojukwu the Ibos are suffering today. Ojukwu was just an opportunist of his time and he went on to show his level of reasoning by marrying a girl young enough to be his daughter. If he had succeeded with Biafra he would have been worse than Idi Amin. He should be recognised as the man that misled the Ibos into a senseless war. |
Let us see action, enough of the promises and swearing and pledging to do. Talk is cheap, 2 years is counting now still stories. I promise, I pledge, i swear, we are committed, we will, bla bla bla. We want to see actions stop the talk and walk the talk |
The best thing is to sound it clear to the offendee that his or her mouth is smelling. Once heard that someones mouth odour suffocated another inside a lift when the lift stopped and he was screaming for help. So mouth odour is a killer problem if you dont tell the offendee then he will kill you with bad breathe before your time. |
The greastest enemy we have in this country today are the youths of this nation. They have failed woefully. We sit back and blame past leaders for our situation. Unaccomplished dreams, bleak future and all. We curse and swear for them to die a painful and bitter death. Does that solve the problem. Even if they die now I mean IBB, OBJ, Buhari,Shonekan, Abdulsalam and the rest of them have they not all attained the biblical age of 70, in other words they have ran the race and fought the good fight and they can all beat their chest and say I have etched my name in the sand of time.Forever and ever their names will go down in history whenever and wherever the story of Nigeria is written. Today the average youth of today will count him or hrself blessed to reach 70 with all the challenges of our time. I say again the youths of Nigeria of today are the greatest threat Nigeria has. Todays youth are a disgrace and a big let down be it the elites amongst us or the everyday youths on the street. We have been brainwashed, interested in the fake life and hiding under mask to throw tantruns, they throw bombs, write all sorts without making any positive move to guarantee our future and the coming generation. At the present we have seen what is happeneing in our nation, what contributions have the youths made both those within and outside the government. Yes we do have youths in government where is the youthful zeal, where are the youthful ideologies, none rather we see complacency both within government and outside government. Those outside are afraid they are grumbling without taking any action for positive change. Those within are stealing and not bothered about the future of the coming generation. So sad indeed, all we do is live our fake lives and make empty threats of been the future of Nigeria, what future if i may say a bleak one indeed. The youths yes all of us should go bury our heads in shame, because we have failed the country. We have the power, we have the strength, we have the know how to fix Nigeria once and for all. The youths in the Arab world have shown us the way to do it. We can collectively make that change we want for our country. I recall how the youths of Nigeria of old stood up in one voice and said no to OBJ during the ' Ali must go' era at the end of the day we got the change we needed. Yes sacrifices must be made for our freedom. There is no peace without war. The youths of Nigeria must stop lamenting and rise up, its our future its our country we have no other we must fight for her future and progress. We cannot continue to wallow in self pity and allow wasted people to mislead us with religious and tribal sentiments. We must unite as youths and make that positive change we need. The mistakes of the past have gone and we have learnt our lessons. Never again should anyone say the youths of this country cant rule Nigeria, never again should anyone shut our universities and have their own kids abroad, never again should anyone ignore the potentials of the youth, never should people steal our money, sack the youths from work while they and their cronies are looting the treasury, never again should our wives and children die in our hospitals while they fly abroad for the slightest ailment, never again should the youths of Nigeria be looking older than their fathers. Never Again. So let us confine the old brigade where they belong, ignore them let them live with their concience let them see where they have led us to. This is the present, those who are there today let us hold them by the jugular to deliver on their promises or we use our strength to show them the way out. No time for dolling. Thats my own take on this thread. IT is well with Naija. |

Has Owoye Azazi ever lost a relation in the Boko Haram menace, where was all the FG assurances when the previous blast went off in Abuja the seat of government. I dont think any sensible person will take his word seriously. Let him stop Boko Haram then we can listen to him and his likes in government. |
Simple remove the governor in which ever state where Boko Haram has carried out their nefarious activities successfully more than once and declare a state of emergency in such state and commence a full scale military unslaught on all their hideouts. Who ever harbours a criminal must suffer the same fate. It has gotten to that point. Governors cannot be having a tea party when these things are happening in their domain. Emirs cannot remain silent as if the people been killed are not their subjects. If the fail to identify shady character in their midst they share part of the punishment to root out the enemy in the land. Immediate steps to take are first and formost retire Afiz Ringim for total failure. Sack Azazi for his intelligence report not to have yielded any meaningful arrest. Sack the COAS for non performance in a national security issue like this. Sack the head of customs for allowing bombs into the country. Put Atiku, IBB and Buhari under 24 hours suveliance, bug their phones lines and trail their movements. Engage private dedectives. Encourage community policing to help with undercover intelligence gathering. Finally, deal with all terrorist arrested with dispatch. |
We all have ourselves to blame for whatever situation we find ourselves today. A nation gets the type of leader they deserve. during electioneering campaigns we all saw the presidential debates, discerning Nigerians wont forget easily how PDP evaded the group debate that would have given Nigerians the chance to compare apple for apple. Now see where we are. We wanted a president that will hit the ground running but instead our president seems to be staying too long on one spot. Worse of is the fact that the president has not yet come to terms with the Nigerian situation. Nigerians are wonderful people to rule they will give you all the support but ones you let them down they will turn around and attack you. GEJ had the back of majority of Nigerians even those sitting on the fence had room to give him the benefit of doubt but with what is on ground today i dont know if we conduct a vox populi how many Nigerians will still queue behind the president. GEJ have no option than to always stand on the side on the Nigerians on what ever issues be it fuel subsidy or security situation. If he dies fighting for the Nigerian cause we will not forget him we will imortalise him like Muritala but if he continues like this and he dies the case of Abacha and Yaradua will be his way. He has he chance to correct himself before it is too late. God will not come down to do anything for us, HE has given us everything we need to succeed. Roll up your sleeve put on your thinking cap and the answers are blowing in the wing. Dont let the nation down. Nigerians voted enmasse for you for the first time in the history of our country why wont you die fighting for the people. |
There was a report indicting one ex head of state, some influential people in the North, aggrieved politicians etc. The blame for this insecurity can be dropped on the doorstep of our leaders. Let us look at it this way. It may seem this set of Boko Haram members are few and well organised. They go out import mercenaries to carry out their deadly act. I bet if the government today should allow the FBI to unravel this challenge it is a matter of days they will route all of them including their sponsors. The problem again is the press and politicians, any attempt to bring in the experts will be rebuffed and criticised. GEJ need not make this a national discuss, quietly engage the Israeli Mossad and i bet you Boko Haram will be gone. It is not a shame to admit that our police has failed, it is not out of place to admit that this whole thing is all about politics. Let GEJ take the necessary action NOW, one year is gone and nothing has been accomplished. Too much talk and no action. Stamp out the leaders of Boko Haram then the rest will be easy. The president will have himself to blame if nothing is been done. This is an act of war so war must be declared on places where Boko Haram thrives, those who harbour criminals should suffer the same fate as the criminals. Immediately declare a state of emergency in the states like Borno, Yobe, Niger, put in crack military intelligence officers to oversee things there, by the time homee are raised the emirs will have no choice but to tell their subjects to expose shady characters. The implications of not taking far reaching decision is that this guys will keep on extending their nefarious activity until they drag this nation into a full scale war and GEJ will have himself to blame for failure to take action. The police cannot handle this. The military hierarchy has been compromised such that you dont know who to trust. So the only way out is get experts to assist. Let them criticise the decision but at the end their will be peace. Another thing is that the leadership must be bold to comfront the people that will be exposed for this shameful act. When the experts begin to name the names of the sponsors of Boko Haram does the presidency have the will power to prosecute them and let peace reign. Some people must just have to die for Nigeria to move forward. |
Death is inevitable, it can happen at any fcuk1ng time, live life to the fullest, be merry, enjoy, jubilate, make friends not enemies, live well for it is a price everyone must pay, big, small rich or poor no one is immune to death. Whether we like it or not someone somewhere is dying now and another is been born. So do not cry just prepare you selves for that day when 6th will be home. We do not own the life so why brag about it. Death is a welcome thing for those who prepare for it knowing that nobody knows the hour nor the time. RIP Chinedu Nwani gone too soon though. |
Onitsha a city full of themost deadliest criminals, bad roads and dirty surrounding how can they still be having Ofala festivals how will visitors coming for the ceremony get there. What about their safety. It is a shame how we abandon the main issues and pretend that all is well. What is Ofala with out a good ambience and security of lives and property. I think the peopl of Onitsha, their Obi, their governor and their president should all their people should go an bury their faces in shame for inviting the whole would to go through the horror called Onitsha to come and watch Ofala. Is it the deadly potholes we are going to see or is it the madness at upper Iweka a major gateway to the eastern states. Nigerians stand up and demand for your right. Yes it is your sweat, your taxes, send away all mediocres in leadership position. Enough of useless exultation of mediocrity. What is Ofala without a good ambience. Or is it that after the Ofala inside Obis palace, visitors will go back and wade through gullies and potholes. Enough of the insult to the Nigerian psychy and the embarrassment to the whole world. Given this ceremony would have beena great tourist attraction but the inability of the rulers to make Onitsha a place of attraction has made it a disaster. Please show me something else. |
usbcable:I think he is storing the shyte for Baba Suwe, u know how it is done in the yoruba movies phew the stuff is transferred, NDLEA should grap the guy asap for more shyting |
A naturally beautiful girl dont need no make up, it is those ugly ones that try to make up what they dont have by making up. When I see a lady the first thing I watch out for is the eyelashes the hair the face if i see loud make up on it i immediately know that she is not beautiful its makeup that is covering the ugliness. |
It looks like she is a sickler. |
Siena:This is the problem I have with some NLanders we like pretence. Smoking has been with us since time immemorial agreed, tattoo is our culture so is prostitution an age long practice, infact cocaine is a medical drug but it is administered under strict control. I do not have a problem if people put on tattoo or smoke or do whatever they like that is fine as long as they dont disturb the sensibility of the same. What Niseamaka or whatever you call yourself is saying here is that people can do what they like, if that is the case then why do we have rules and regulations. My question to Neseamaka is can you allow your daughter to follow the footstep of Tonto if your answer is yes so be it but if it is NO then I make bold to say that you must be a retardy to insinuate that i am living in the stone age for pointing out the obvious. For your information my worry about this Tonto lady is not centered only on her tattoo, if you read my earlier post on this subject I said the lady is bad as bad can be because I have never seen or read anything worthy of emulation coming from her, she speaks vulgar language as a lady that is bad enough coupled with all her vices, insulting and fighting in public. Tattoo is just one of the obvious of her many attrocities that is why I am appealing to the broadcasting sensors board to check her excesses before she ruins the growing up girls in the country. Now talking about the larger Nigerian society I still can say it any where we still have morals not withstanding the fact that people like Siena and Niseamaka are working so hard to destroy the fabrics of our foundation by promoting alien values in our country. |
Niseamaka:Ordinarily I should ignore you but for the sake of those who may think that you are normal when you are mentally deranged like your mentor Tonto Dikeh. Let me tell you what is bad is bad, if you are honest with yourself can you pray for your child to grow up and be like Tonto Dikeh. Will you spend your time and resource to train a child that will be behaving unruly like this Tonto. It is people like you that are destroying this country. This nation is a country where we still value morals and cultural values. That is why we are who we are. Yes the world is a global village has that changed your skin color to white or has it changed you from been a Nigerian to a white man. Global village doesn't mean that you should lose your identity. Always be yourself no matter what is happening out there that is what makes you stand out. A wise man learns from the mistake of others. What I am saying in a nutshell is that we should not throw away our cultural heritage for what we can not explain, anyone that wants to do that should go outside and practice it so that he/she dont corrupt our young ones. If you can tell your daughter to emulate Tonto Dikeh then that is fine, myself and the majority of us sane Nigerians say NO to bad rubbish |
Well my only message here is NEVER YOU EVER TRUST A WOMAN no matter who she may be. Do what you can and live your life dont poke nose into her life if you dont wanna die of heart attack. See, hear, but turn the other way for your dear life. Many have gone for been too nosy with girls. Give love as if you are a fool but please dont pry into their lifes' 'cos you will see plenty especially if you have attached so much confidence in the babe. Speaking from experience though. |
But she won Miss World sha, I dont know how but she won and we are proud of her if for nothing else but she put Nigeria in the lime light, maybe age is telling on her now but we must still give it to her to defeat all the super models from America, Puetorico, Indians, and Caucasian to win Miss world. If you like call it mistake but she put Naija on the world map. As far as I am concerned she won ms world and that all that counts, haters can go and swim inside bar beach. |
i have repeatedly said it that people should ignore this woman, she is desperately seeking attention and you guys are giving it to her. If she likes she can go naked for all i care. After all we have a saying in Africa that it is sweet to watch a mad man but nobody wants to keep him as a brother. What morals can the little ones derive from this woman now, she acts soft porn, she fights publicly, she curses people in public in vulgar language, she abuses her senior colleagues, she smokes igbo, she tattoos. All these are the ones we hear and read what about the ones she does in secret. I dont see anything worthy of emulation is this girl. The best thing for us to do is to ignore her until she behaves like a true Nigerian well brought girl. I dont watch her movies but there is nothing to learn there. Let her go an act blue film with her partner in crime Muna Obokwe that way they will make a hell of money rather than act semblance of it and tarnish the family name of their other sibblings. Lesbiasm, homosexuality are foreign to our culture so whether acted or real Nigerians frown at it. |
Many people today dont know why they are getting married, for some it is the in thing, they want to belong, for others it is a societal demands and for others it is a form of security. Agreed a married man is call a responsible man but the truth is that what is responsible if a man cannot provide for his family and show examplary character to his children and spouse. Marriage in itself is good when it is done for the right reasons and based on truth. Honestly, the way I see it today the marriage institution has fallen apart it is no longer what it used to be. There is so much disrespect and disregard for the tenets of that institution. So much deceit and so much acrimony that goes on in there. The stories coming out of marriage these days does not encourage any innocent by stander to want to venture in but then time is of essence in marriage especially for women. So i think for the purpose of procreation marriage is important so two people who believe in eachother can bring up children in the proper and civil way to be a valuable person in the society. |
The only coup i will support is the one led by a southerner and a christian |
Dont mind all these ladies talking bullshit, they can date anything as long as their is cash to be spent, is it not women that sleep with dog just for cash how much more an albino. |
Something is fishy |
no comment |
up Baba Suwe if at the end nothing comes up omo don hammer because na court straight for assasination of character. Dont worry your time has come |
The hype about that woman is overated, she has nothing to offer unfortunately. Finally she is unboard the problems of Nigeria still deepens. After like 3 years of eating Nigeria's money she will cook up a story that the presidency is not cooperating and resign and maybe go back to the world bank leaving us as she met us then GEJ's eyes will be clear. He abandoned all the technocrats in Nigeria who understands our problem and think a woman that has never known what it is to experience NEPA outage, bad road, poor hospital facility and all, let us see the magic she will perfom we are watching keenly shebi she is the ministers prefect anyone that fails she will knack am akpako for head we are looking o |
OK TB Joshua said we will loose the match and it was so, why didn't any other pastor who is sure of himself come up and say no Eagles will win. Elijah told the prophet of baal that the God that answereth by fire let him be our God and it manifested as he said it. I dont know this man TB Joshua neither do i go to his church and I dont intend to go there either but hell no, if this guy is spot on with his prediction and the likes of professors of this world and all them white people are checking him out and great footballers like fashanu, kanu, amokachi etc, and all go to this guy I think he should be watched. I remember Eguavoen went with his team there and we all saw the way things went for them. Its either this guy has some extraterrestrial powers or we are way to blind to see, like the case of a prophet not recognized in his own kingdom. |
What the poster is saying is not a lie, my personal experience was similar i once boarded Chanchagi plane from Lagos to Abuja and I wanted to ease my self alas and behold one aboki air host was standing by the door as though he was a bouncer, when i told him i wanted to use the toilet he said it was not working no apology whatsoever. As if that was not enough, no sooner than the plane was airborne the pilot came on air with a husky voice. "Ladies and gentle, we will be experiencing some turbulence due to bad weather but that is not a problem we will just go through it and you all will be alright" Those moments through the turbulence were the longest in my life. Now it is not as if i have never been through turbulence in a flight but the fact that the plane's toilet could not be maintained i wondered to myself if the engines will be. Well we landed safely to the glory of God but I knew that plane was not airworthy. Anyway somehow they have managed to maintain a clean record as usual they will claim that it is because they are the holiest people or maybe they have the best pilots but I think it will be nice the regulatory authorities takes a deeper look into the operations of that airlines. Politics aside that airline ought to be delisted from Nigeria's airspace. Their cabin crew that one is another thing altogether, when you see them they look haggard and hungry, i dont get it anymore some will even be scratching their butts as they move along the aisle. |
