arcbabe: OP that is where cashiers get their money from,I have worked as a cashier before. You are very wicked trying to expose her and if they sack her what benefit will it be to you. If a product bought is scanned it will reflect in the invoice but if the product is not scanned it wouldn't reflect in the invoice and that is where cashier see their own money from. So they feel it is better not to scan the product so that it wouldn't reflect in the invoice and the money is theirs b'cos you can't scan a product that has already reflected in the invoice and take the money,they will have shortage of cash and the money will be deducted from their salary. So the trick is don't scan a product and it won't reflect in the invoice and the money is yours without you having any form of shortage.

And do you think THIS IS RIGHT?
is this the only country in the world where we have supermarkets?
if all cashiers acted in this manner what will remain of these stores?
if it were your business would you like to be fleeced in that manner??

I paid Geeomotayo Conglomerate Ltd for a consignment to be delivered to Nigeria. The package included a brand new laptop which I put on the inventory. After passing my package to a third party and having it delivered three days behind schedule, the package was finally delivered with the laptop missing. I complained but the company carried out a sham of an investigation and had nothing in place by way of compensation or remuneration!!!

They claimed the recipient might have been lying...but they couldn't show - as is their responsibility - that the package was not tampered with en route and was delivered with full integrity.

I sat down and half way into the service, an usher came and asked myself and a friend to move back to some rows behind. I didnt really understand why and refused to stand up. Buying things and having them cancelled due to ''out of stock'' problem is not unheard of even abroad. Its quite annoying but its worse when they refuse to refund the money and try to give you a similar item or put the money towards your next purchase (Naija style). Very sneaky and stupid i must say

naptu2: The properties that were listed belonged to Sir Louis Phillipe Odumegwu Ojukwu (Chukwuemeka Ojukwu's father). He founded the Ojukwu Transport Limited and was once the richest man in Nigeria.

The Federal Government seized those properties after the Civil War (the property on Hawksworth Road was the headquarters of JAMB for a long time, while the property on Oyinkan Abayomi Drive, known as Villaska Lodge, was the subject of the famous court case Ojukwu vs Lagos State).

Chief Chukwuemeka Ojukwu instituted many court cases in order to reclaim these properties. The Babangida Government eventually decided to return these properties to the Ojukwu Family.

The bone of contention now, is that the Ojukwu Family claim that Chukwuemeka Ojukwu was managing these properties on behalf of Ojukwu Transport Limited and therefore, the properties belong to the company (and thus the extended family), while Bianca claims that Chukwuemeka Ojukwu inherited these properties from Sir Louis Phillippe Odumegwu Ojukwu and thus, she and her children should inherit the properties.
