tpiah, there are numerous sites on the web detailin his (and the plight of the bini people) on the web, i guess what we (as naijas) lack is documented history of our beautiful people to pass to our children, that got me thinking, maybe its something I should be lookin into
nice photo here http://www.dawodu.net/akenz.htm |
better to have never loved at all. |
History of the Roman Empire |
Like 'em both though the Simpsons is just too funny! ![]() |

Ratatouille was great! |
Yes, Johnny Depp would make a great vampire. havent watched Fringe yet but it sounds interesting. |
debosky:If a lady claims she's being stalked, why would you assume she's telling a lie? ![]() Defamation of character happens every other day on nairaland. Since when has it been against the rules? ![]() ![]() @ topic once again, na only mgbekes dey stalk me. I've noticed! My own looks are irrelevant. By their stalkees ye shall know them. |
guilty until proven innocent? ![]() |
this Ikeymann- is he Nigerian at all? I think some people are here masquerading as Nigerians when they're not even black talkless west African. |
imagine. And the woman didnt even study in Nigeria. Assuming she had, these same vultures would have torn her to shreds. Africans!!!!!! Sometimes we're the architects of our own misfortunes. |
Anyone stalking tpia is an mgbeke of the highest order. That's for sure. by their online activities ye shall know them. and I'm dead serious. |
hope i havent been stalking some fine Nairaland guys oh ![]() Admire no be stalk, abeg! If thats not so then I'll stop. i know for sure the ugly ones stalk me in order to fight. ![]() |
Emad:most times, agreed. thick too. |
mex004:great question! |
well, they obviously need a military base in west Africa for whatever reason. They asked Nigeria a couple of times and were politely refused. So they went to Ghana, if one is to believe the original post. if Ghana decides to allow a US military base on her territory, there's really little anyone can do. I wouldn't lose sleep over it unless there's something else I'm not seeing here. |
Afam:ok, for the last time, Okonjo's professorship is no concern of mine. I dont lose sleep over wikipedia entries. Cant say the same for you and certain other "Nigerians". If you have anything to add thats different from your contributions so far, then add them. Otherwise, I see no sense in flogging a dead horse! You, richybrainwashedblack and some other fellows disagree with a wiki entry saying she's a professor because you feel she isnt one but is simply being hyped up a la Nigerian style. I dont see any evidence to back up your claims. Tolerance for opposing views is a mark of civilization. So kindly follow your own advice and agree to disagree! Unless you have another agenda! |
there are different kinds of stalking. Some guys stalk just to pick fights with someone they disagree with. Other guys do it because they're attracted to or interested in someone. In any case, if a lady feels you're stalking her, feel free to deny it or explain. Or stop whatever action is being interpreted as stalking. and vice versa. |
Very. |
I hate sharing information in the webspace - but I do have a good reason, He is my great-grandfather,
good for you. ![]() have you done any research on him or is there a website with more info. i know an Akenzua back home. |
even Emirates? na wa. Nigerian companies should also start posting travel advisories on their own websites. but the Emirates warning isnt really too bad though, if that's all it is. It's not like they're lying and the language is very polite and official. |
dudet:good question. |
love is blind so yes, you can love someone you dont trust. However, that isnt a good state of affairs. |
lord have mercy. And people say they dont want to leave Lagos. |
this is a better picture of her. |
well, the guy is 36, and has his own family. While the situation is hurtful, I think he should just let his mum move on with her own life until she's ready to come to terms with herself. The book Hope Was Here deals with exactly this kind of situation. Some women unfortunately are like that. Not everyone has depth of character and they should have let him know who his real mother was from the beginning. But since they didnt, let the past remain past. Especially since his mum still doesnt want anything to do with him. |
aaarrrrgghhhhh I'm the only one who doesnt have unknown secret crushes? ![]() Gosh, I've got to work on my mouth and stop blabbing things!!! A little mystery is always good. ![]() |
debosky:as I said before, the onus isnt on me to prove she's a professor. The person who doubts her professorship should try to find out why she was called a professor on wiki, instead of assuming she isnt one. I have no problems with her qualifications and neither do I feel a need to go about with bad belle picking fights to assuage my empty ego! I dont live and die by whats on wiki either. RichyBlacK:he hears you, goat seller. Your own "professorship" na "authentic genuine", unlike Iweala's- that fake lady. Afam: I dont consider the OP of this thread as having more credibility than the claimer on that one! As for the rest of your post, your questions and assertions have been discussed already so I'm not going to run in circles. Nigeria is backward precisely because of this habit of always repeating what has been covered before as if it was never addressed in the first place. And yes, tolerance is a virtue though its a foreign concept for far too many Nigerians! Now unlesss you simply have a bone to pick on behalf of richybrainwashedblack, can you let this matter be! However, its not by force- feel free to pursue it further as you wish! |
