Now more than ever, the blacks are being portayed in bad light. A lot of people will just assume it wasn't the pain of losing a fellow black man that result in protests, it's the desire to get free things (through stealing). The blacks are the same everywhere from Nigeria to the US. I really wonder when we're going to evolve in values. |

Maybe they are just afraid to offend the North and their by push the blame to a wink link which is the igbos, its what every oppresed and timid people will do. Just leave those two tribes alone. I've always heard the saying that 'my friend's enemy is my enemy and my enemy's enemy is my friend'. In the case of these two Southern giants, they're enemies without a tangible course and thus a common enemy subjugates the two of them. Very soon, you'd see one of those tribesmen coming to defend themselves against the other here. |

1x2x3: You didn't read my first post. Creating a genius can be in any field, my point is getting them involved in such a tender age. There is nothing like taking away their childhood all because they keyed into a niche so early. Yeah... children should be developed early into whatever they want to be in life just like Ludvig Van Beethoven started music around age 2. I was actually referring to the headline that seem to suggest the boy as having six packs and that's all. I didn't read the full post until I later saw that the boy is being groomed into gymnastics and football. I'm actually have an expertise on children and you're right. |

1x2x3: Your kids will watch and admire him at some point right on the TV. His dad put so much effort to train this kid daily and he's already training with Liverpool academy. Go on YouTube in case you don't know that kid. He is already racking in so much money through his channel displaying his trainings and amazing skills. He loves what he is doing and I see him going places. While your kids are participating in fashion shows, another father has enrolled his teen kid into fashion design sch to design what your kids will admire in the shows........ There's a huge difference sir. You create an average child while those who took it to the next level create a genius. Hmmm...so the next way to create a genius is by engaging children in aesthetic trainings. Alright thanks for your comments. |

1x2x3: There's no childhood stolen, he associate with his age mates as normal. I can tell you this is why China will keep outpacing everyone, from teenage age they cave out a niche for their kids depending on what those kids see as fun, then train them specifically in that niche till they become specialist. Kids learn faster so a kids that start learning programing at very early stage will become a professional before he turns 22 . They won't waste their time learning 13 subjects that leads nowhere like you did so they may never understand English or even know where Nigeria is on the map of the world but one thing is certain, you can never come close when you dabble into their field. Well as you say, the kid will keep flexing his six packs. Good for him while he still has it. And when the six packs expire, his society will fix him somewhere else. I can allow my children to participate in fashion shows but I can't allow my children to be like that. There's way more talent upstairs for them. |

light099: If Almajiris can come out this beautiful, it means something great can really come out of Africa; but then, even though blacks have appreciated in looks over the years against the black monkeys the world used to know, unfortunately, seems the behaviour of the black monkeys got worse.
Will Africa ever be great? Will black color ever be respected? I doubt if that day will ever come. Not the fault of racists who look down on us, it's just what we deserve.
Your family looks good but your country stinks like shiithole. Useless leaders. If one probes further, one would discover the black citizens aren't much better too, it's the citizens who become the useless leaders at the helm of affairs. Your last point is the real deal. I fought with a lot of people who used to tell me "steal yours when you get there" while growing up. Imagine the mentality already built up in ordinary citizens. Our value system is so corrupt and wrong and this is why werew not much pained that Nigeria is this corrupt. I'm still in shock when I saw this morning on Wikipedia that Nigeria had lost $400 billion to corruption since independence. |

simple250: Are we ever going to realise that we all have the same issue on ground to solve ? The answer is no because if an hausa man is in power, the hausas will never come out to protest again any form of injustice ,police brutality, lack of basic amenities etc when na their person they there no they will not come out except it's something that has to do with religion .which is a topic for another day This is why we've been managing corruption since 1960. If Atiku had won, fewer people would be shouting restructuring, true federalism for at least 2 years. But Atiku didn't win. When 2023 comes, we'll still vote and when the new government starts showing elemtele of failure, we'll start shouting restructuring and true federalism again. How long are we going to do this? |

Despite all that, and about 60 years later when we have the reins of power, we don't know what to do with it. Don't you think we might be a little better off now if colonialism had not been totally eradicated? kokomilala: At best ,it's elitist and self-serving.The policy, just like other government policies, has not taken into consideration the routinely forgotten, the homeless and the poor generally. Once you hear Private-Public Partnership, just forget the poor. PPP is a way for the government to make us believe they are improving the country while it is the capitalists looking for more opportunity to milk the people. The poor is left out. This is how Ajimobi said we needed a technical university in Our state, built one in Ibadan but it is too expensive even for some middle class. |

This is really a case of misplaced priority. The right time for government to tackle the issue of housing and proper development of the mainland is now. Instead, they want to create more islands so that the people sector can come in and free the government from responsibilities. They're only preparing more properties for future destruction through this act. |
