just imagine at this perilous times trump is trying to politicize everything and still pointing fingers trying to find scapegoat. This man can be insensitive at times
I'm indifferent to his decision as regards the WHO. But I wish you read the entire post and see how a leader reasons. I have my biases for him but this guy somehow has Americans' interests at heart.

Where will the poor get the money to open bank account?

There was once a country
Abi nau...abi...all these petty traders around me don't even have enough to keep in a bank. Someone remembers them and decides to send 2k to them and they'll be looking for one uncle whose account can be used. We have people that think in Nigeria but we don't have thinking people at the top.

The world is so unpredictable. Can anyone control the world when life is full of unpredictabilities or oh...it sweetens the belly to find out that the ineptitude of certain countries and people is caused by the imaginary controllers.

Isn't it amazing to see supposedly educated folks showing the whole world how as a people we have failed? In your minds, you're talking about which region will survive and which won't but all the regions are just bouncing failure from one place to another. I hope y'all will find out the king among failed regions that make up a country.

With the way these World Organizations are Intrested in Nigeria these days.... I Suspect something..

There is a Target!

I Suspect all these concerns are Connected to a Vaccine!

I Believe that the Belief is that once Nigeria is gotten , any other African nation will fall in..

Nigeria is Respected and Feared not because of our Economy or leaders!

Nigeria is Feared because Nigeria is a Spiritual Heavy Weight!

Only very few will understand these things!
Spiritually hypocritical heavyweight I'd say. If only we'll stay true to our spirituality... But how long do you think hardship and poverty will keep Nigerians 'spirit-centric'. Even our spiritual sensitivity is borne mostly out of our helplessness. It's only our ancestral route converted into modern religion that gives us this spiritual cloak we now wear.

I didn't say it does so don't be alarmed. Legal adulthood begins by age 18. Someone can be a moral pedophile when he's not a pedophile according to law.

If op is indeed 31 as he says and the girl is 19, then op has stylishly confessed that he is a moral pedo. The girl should be learning from you about life since you're from the hood but I guess, by the time you have a daughter her age, you'll know what to do with vulnerable secondary school graduates like the girl but before then, I send my condolences to every young girl that'll get damaged by you...
LiteratureRe: D.O. Fagunwa: The Great Nigerian Author Who Tragically Drowned In A River by traihit: 2:18pm On Apr 10, 2020
We have a terrible culture of knowing little about our past and this is why only few people reckon with this great man. His books especially "Ogboju Ode ninu Igbo Irunmolr" (The brave Hunter in the forest of demons) really helped to hone my Yoruba literacy. It's a shame that fee people know this man while Shakespeare is so popular.

Sometimes when I hear men lament over equality, feminism and the social system that's now trending in developed countries, I'd feel as if men are superhumans who have everything going well with them but seeing all the dilemmas here and abroad, I'm made to ask, who is responsible for the new social system, the men or the women?

EducationRe: ECCDE ECCE ECE.. how lucrative it is in our today's society by traihit: 9:29pm On Apr 06, 2020
Truth is, the course is not that lucrative in Nigeria unless you have an ingenius way of making it so. I can however, authoritately predict that the course will start gaining more ground in the future because the Nigerian populace is just getting to the verge of where UK, and American working-class presently are. The services of house-help and nannues, grandmas and extended family members is still much around. But if you're passionate about the course, youlyo surely make a great headway. BTW, it's not a new course, it's been in the programme of UI since the late 70s.

Y’all should leave Abacha abeg. Let the dead man rest. Till date no one is inquiring about the cause of his death. Y’all talking about $600k like it’s something compared to how much y’all embezzle on a day to day basis.
If Yeguda and co wants to return #1t to the fg how much did they really embezzled?

Please I was barely 9 years old when Abacha died can you tell me and other young people like me what Abacha did wrong. From all I’ve read, no other administration has improved the country the way Abacha did, if you do that. I will remove my comment and paste yours right here on this spot
Well I guess you'd have preferred we still have an Abacha in the country where Ken Saro-Wiwa will keep getting killed all the time; where Wole Soyinka, Niyi Osundare and a host of other scholars wouldn't dare step into the country aside unaccountable funds missing from the government's coffer. I don't want that and I guess that's where we're different.

Dead men like him don't deserve a rest after so many unrests he caused. If Nigeria were to be more meritorious, Abacha and family would have been dealt with posthumously.

The politicians' attitudes reveal about the mindset of majority of the citizens. So I'm not surprised. In Nigeria, the politicians, bureaucrats, teachers, etc don't take things serious unless they'll get some extra benefits. This is why our country is like this.

EducationRe: Right Steps To Study For A Masters Degree Abroad by traihit: 11:54am On Mar 07, 2020
1StopRudeness:
To apply for masters degree takes less than 30mins to 1hr if you have all the necessary document.

So get your
1) certificate

2)Transcript ( number 2 is important than number one cos oyinbo wants to see the number of units u have from 100-400level. Most UK schools require around 180-240units in ur bachelors and it most be honours......that’s why some HND aren’t eligible for masters until they get extra credits thru a postgrad-Diploma)
3) IELTS: you may or may not need this but if u have it on ground you will be able to apply for many schools as possible. If not, you will need to apply to schools that enable their portal to accept application without IELTS score.then later you can negotiate your bachelors was taught in English so the IELtS can be waived. But some school no dey gree...

4)GED: if your destination is USA, u might need a GED

5) motivation letter or statement of purpose
Oyinbo Dey very emotional and they like to hear that this is part of fulfilling a dream. No one can tell it better than you. But u can always hire a pro to write it. It can destroy you application if it’s poorly written.

6) start scatering the internet for for available school that offer the course you want...this part is easy....

7) application fee: if u chose UK, most schools don’t charge application fee except Oxford, Cambridge, Warwick and a few others...Some school in Europe charge as well. But u can get a lot of schools in Europe that don’t charge too.
United state schools and Canadian univeristies usually charge btw 75-200dollars ...
For the motivation letter/personal statement part, I'll plead with anyone writing it to take proper diligence and do it by him/herself. While it's normal to be afraid of submitting a poorly written motivation letter, it's better you face the fear, work on it yourself and write something from your heart. Go online, search for samples, look for what the schools want you to write on and spend a great deal of time writing it. In my journey so far for a master's degree abroad, I've been successful at least in one area: writing a personal statement/motivation letter to four Russell Group universities and being offered admission in the four. That's a great start to any achievement in the course of your programme. Shun laziness and be original.

sodiqapril:
I've come to the conclusion that the leaders of a country are a true reflection of what we are as citizens....we worship money too much in this country not to have these rogues as leaders...the people complaining about mismanagement of funds will still end up insulting them as poor if by the end of their tenure they are unable to amass wealth
This is why I now find it difficult criticising these politicians over their frivolities again. They represent the thinking pattern/mindset of more than 80% of Nigerians. A lot of us on the forum wouldn't mind doing worse if given the same opportunity. If there is anything Nigerians should agitate for now, it's the change in the system that promotes what these politicians do.
