RomanceRe: What Men Must Do To Ensure Successful Relationship And Marriage by traihit: 2:02pm On Feb 21, 2020
A well-crafted timely piece! The marriage institution in the world today is sick firstly because men left their responsibilities and assume their roles is just to finance the family while women follow the trend by fighting supremacy battle with their already irresponsible husbands and thus, children see the confusions and became authority to themselves. Let everyone take their roles in the home and we won't need to be looking for some inconsistent political correctness to set our families for us. There's nothing that warms a heart than leaving home/school everyday to a home where you'll feel safe, secure, confident and welcomed. Sadly, we're losing that everyday.
PoliticsRe: Amotekun: Ekiti To Translate Laws Into Yoruba Language by traihit: 12:55pm On Feb 21, 2020
Sincerely speaking, one of the ways indigenous languages have been cheated is a constitution written in English without a corresponding translations into individual languages. There's no way you'd better understand a language that is not your mother-tongue and as much as Nigerians like priding themselves as users of English language, we're still L2 users. I'd even appreciate it if we have the entire constitution translated into indigenous languages.

So, which city has better electricity supply; Lagos, Sango, or Ibadan? What's your take on Sagamu or Abeokuta?
There are some parts of Ibadan that enjoys electricity supply e.g Challenge, Felele, Oluyole Estate and so many others. I've not really stayed in Lagos but I know electricity supply depends on the environment too same thing as Sagamu.

Before commenting at all, ensure you won't live below the expectations of at least 50% of what you wrote there if you become a VC or a politician in the future.

Now to my comment. My first few months in the campus of a university got me asking myself why the outside world can't model the university's orderliness and well planned structured in the town. However, I was to discover that the town and the gown are the same thing. The good physical planning I saw was a kudos to the colonialists. The gown is after making money, individual wealth instead of working to solve societal problems.
TravelRe: Which City Is Safest To Relocate My Family In South West? by traihit: 2:36pm On Feb 14, 2020
It's either Ogun or Oyo State. There are some parts of Ogun States very close to Lagos like Sango and others. I don't know much about traffic there but I can tell you about the traffic in Ibadan. It's on the rise but not as frustrating as that of Lagos and tbh, both Oyo and Ogun States are relatively peaceful for now. However, you may consider other factors like children's education, the kind of accommodation, electricity supply etc. I think these should guide you.
PoliticsRe: Soldiers Storm Nnamdi Kanu’s Home, Block Entrance To His Residence by traihit: 10:15am On Feb 13, 2020
Seriously I respect NK and his IPOB gangs for not resorting to terrorism. They have many causes to do so and they have the long legs to support it. But they would have been on the wrong side of the populace.
Just imagine the helpless Nigerian Army blocking NK's residence all because they're facing unarmed citizens. Meanwhile, the real enemies of Nigeria are being released back into the society because they've 'repented!

The best thing to do when you come across posts that have 'no sense' is to just ignore. That shows that you're the opposite of what you're talking about. Nigerian government is bad but Nigerian populace are quick to insult anyone who says what they don't reason with. You see why Nigeria is the way it is?

You can say that about pretty much every state in Nigeria.

How does building stadiums in the Yeast help the poor, illiterate Yeebos?

How does okada ban help the poor in Lagos?

How do statues in imo prevent poverty?
Speaking objectively, let's criticise any governor that embark on projects which are not need-based and it doesn't matter what part of the country they come from or their political affiliation. The more we keep seeing their works as a kind of charity, the more we'll praise them for the wrong thing, the more they'll feel like they are gods. The Nigerian state at this time doesn't need politicians who will just embark on projects to please the people, it needs executives, planners, policymakers who will make need-based policies and project that'll have the most direct impact on the citizenry. If a governor is not getting to that level, let him be criticised and their is no hiding under flyovers and roads like the president is hiding under 2nd Niger bridge and Lagos-Ibadan railway while the nation boils in insecurity and unemployment.

You're the most stupid one. What's the essence of those flyovers when there is no job most people in there living in adjectively poverty. Government at all state level should shift attention to the creation of jobs no bridge, flyovers and all that shit. Come to think of it if the money was spent on creating jobs, wouldn't you too go to kano to work? But now that it's flyovers, what people of West stand to benefit? You don't have any sense In you boy
You need to ring this in their ears more and more. One problem we Nigeria's populace may have is in the unnecessary blowing of trumpets for this governors. Are flyovers the most viable need-based project for a state teeming with high poverty rate, illiteracy and lack of employment. Just as the president thinks that infrastructure without employment, security, power and w business friendly environment can built Nigeria, people like Ganduje keep building flyovers inside poverty and illiteracy and because the flyovers they build will shield the millions of dollars of kickbacks they've received from the project. We now say one bad leader is better than another bad leader. It doesn't matter what kind of thief a thief is, a thief is a thief and we should stop celebrating these non-thinking thieves.

Someone up there mentioned that the first question to ask yourself is 'what do you want to achieve in life...'
I think you should move from there. Do you want to be an engineer or you just want to work with your degree? Do you have passions for some other things aside engineering? If you have all the resources you need in the world today, where do you see yourself in 5-20 years? I think your answers to these questions WILL GIVE YOU A CLUE.
But honestly, whatever you plan to do, be prepared to sweat and stay in the mud to get it done. As long as you're ready to get dirty to achieve your goal (and I don't mean doing dirty things), you'll get there.
However, you have a long way to go if you've not found a sense of purpose, a motive that drives you to get the 2:1 honours the university is conferring on you.

People don't pray for 'gold and dinosaurs' to fall from the skies. People pray when all else have failed. People pray because prayers have solved problem that looked unconquerable.

For one thing, I support this ban and if our government is really serious about Nigeria, the priority now shouldn't be about stopping the ban but stopping the brain drain that's sucking Nigeria dry. But how can they stop brain drain when they are not ready to embark on revolutionary ideas that'll change the tide of Nigeria. Do you think anyone in his right sense will a country where he feels at home to another place where he doesn't except if his home is not on fire? Nigeria is on fire presently and if it's not stopped, I guess other countries should join in the ban.

Please its our entitlement

How can you say FG should not revamp our states? We have governors they are sons of the soil, if they like, they shouldn't develop the state, if our governors like them them loot our future, we don't care

As long as fulani is getting ruga and boko haram is getting reabsorbed into the army, FG owes us rehabilitation

That's the mind of average drug head LiePodians

Like I previously wrote

Let them take note of that figure

100 Billion naira to revamp fishing terminals
I think he has a point and it's not about Akwa-Ibom. It's about every state in Nigeria. You yourself said that we have governors who are sons of the soil. If those 'sons of the soil' governors were to be the ones to develop their states, they'd know the areas (which are hidden to the FG) that can boost the economy of their state. That's what a federal system does. The fault is not Buhari's, it's not any governor's, it's the system and it's our faults if we don't pressure our legislatures especially to work on changing that system for good. Our growth will continue to suffer impairment until we're decentralized economically.
