Coldshisha: You can doubt all you want , just pray nobody you know suffers Medical condition outside the scope of knowledge of a medical doctor
The woman in question even has a daughter working at UCH Ibadan as nurse And you believe TB Joshua had the powers to treat any medical condition beyond what an Orthodox medical practioner can handle? My friend, you have not been told the true story about what actually happened to the lady you claimed was healed. I know of friends and family members who have been there . When they return, the story they tell outsiders is not completely true. Some of them, lost their lives after a time because they stopped taking their medications believing they have received a permanent cure. For those lucky to still be alive, the medication condition which made them go to TB Joshua in the first place, returned with full force and they are now forced to take their medication seriously. The whole world witnessed what happened to the late Ghanaian president , Atta Mills , who ignored sound medical advice to visit the synagogue for healing.. He is late now ; A high profile victim of TB Joshua fake healing practice. The gullible public failed to learn anything from that particular incident(not the only one) and still continue to visit the synagogue for non existent healing. Even in death, some persons are still begging to be allowed to touch his corpse with the believe they can still receive a miracle. Haha! They should allow the man to rest. See my friend , dont defend anything or anyone when you have little information. I know much more than you do about TB Joshua and what actually goes on in his synagogue..TB Joshua never had any powers to heal anyone during his life time. Of course ,he knew he had no such powers hence when he was ill he had to secretly ferry himself somewhere else for treatment. It is unfortunate that people are still defending him now that the truth has come out or is coming out . From what I know , I believe more would be revealed in the coming days If you know of anyone who has a medical condition which has defied orthodox treatment or cure, my advice is to seek help from a competent alternative medicine practitioner . You can choose to pray while receiving such treatment.Sometime ago, I found myself in such a situation where I had no option but to seek alternative treatment and I got perfect cure. Pastors or prophet can't do much for anyone when it comes to treating you. If by chance you receive any healing at all ,it is due to the power of your personal believe and not the one claiming to heal you. Most people do not have what it takes to muster the amout of believe required for faith healing to occur. People should use their common sense and make use of what can actually cure them or manage their medical condtion instead of relying on illusory cure that would led to more pain and disappointment as we have come to see with TB Joshua and his likes masquerading as faith healers. |

And yeah, Lucifer and Satan are not the same. Because it was Lucifer God created, and not Satan. Had Lucifer remained the way God created him, Satan wouldn't evil. But, Satan came to being because Lucifer chose evil. How then can one explain an evil spirit from GOd tormenting saul? Here below; 1 Samuel 16:14-23 14 Now the spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the Lord tormented him. 15And Saul’s servants said to him, ‘See now, an evil spirit from God is tormenting you. |

sarjam05: We need more intelligent and rational responders like you not some nit witted idiots making mockery of people’s dilemma. If you cannot proffer solutions keep shut rather than degrade yourself to bland sarcasms. Thanks for your reply. Do you have anyone who can help me with this? My confusion has been if this power is positive or negative. I feel it deep within me and I know it’s lurking somewhere inside me. I cannot just call it to work but when I’m in an emergency situation it starts acting on its own. If only the fool that betrayed me on Nairaland knew what I could do if I cursed him he wouldn’t dare me but fools are fools so I’d take it he doesn’t know what he’s playing with. Spiritual power is real. I used to hear and watch it in movies till I delved into it and yes it is very very very real. I have other experiences but let me stop here for now. Kudos to you for giving this intelligent and affectionate response. As concerns the energy I don’t think I want it out. I just hope it isn’t a sin. However can I ask? Despite burning the soap and flouting the warning not to look back at the river do you think it’s still effective? I believe the reason I still feel the energy sometimes is cause it was put in my blood. This begs the question. Is the Ashe the one incised into my blood or do I need the other paraphernalia for it to be effective? I hope you understand my question. Did burning the soap do anything? I am really flattered by the compliments. Thank you very much..I have found myself in your kind of situation in the past where I was desperately seeking for answers everywhere and I know firsthand from that experience what a careless talk or advise coming from anyone could do to messing up ones mind. So I try to be careful for what I say. Whatever I have replied previously to you is drawn from what I have learnt from those who engage in such practices and also from having done something similar in the past where I was also instructed not to look back as I leave the place . But I have long ago abandoned such practices. My path is different now. Concerning the things you asked what I know is this. If you make a mistake or failed to adhere to instructions. while performing a ritual, then the job is not properly done and in some cases you might even hex yourself. .The effect from that can be mild or very severe .But the mistake can be corrected. In your case, you would have had rest of mind a long time ago if fear had not made you to involve your parents and had gone back to the woman. immediately. I am sure if she is good in what she does, she would know there was "interference" and that you made some mistake while performing the ritual . A competent practitioner would already know something has gone wrong before you even report back. They can "see it" . If she can't know that. something went wrong, then she is not good enough not that she can't do the job of activating the Ashe So I advise that since you want to retain what she did, then go back to her to complete or correct anything that may have gone wrong. No one that I know of would want take on the responsibility of a spiritual work started by another and it is not advisable going from one spiritualist to another seeking for solutions .You can open inner doors which can expose you to things you may not be able to handle. The reason you gave for not going back to her is not enough.. Seek her out as if your life deoends on it and once you meet with her or those she work with, in case you can't find her, ask all the questions and you be would guided. You need guidance to handled what has been activated inside you of.. The power is neither positive or negative. But can become, as I already mentioned, a two edged sword when abused Now this is very important. ,I advise you don't continue with this matter on nairaland. It doesn't matter if it is faceless forum. There are certain things you should keep to yourself. What you're exposing to the public is what you should be discussing privately with a competent practitioner and not just anyone . Remove from fear from your mind. There's nothing to afraid of But do the right thing at the right time . |
Christianity Etc › Re: Ashe Incision On Lip Repercussion by triplechoice(m): 7:56am On Apr 16, 2021 |
@op
From what I know about Ashe, those who really know what it is and can do the work would not just do it for anyone ..Certan consultations are carried out first to determine if it should be done for you or not because Ashe can become a two edged sword if you lack the discipline to handle the power (energy)which comes from it.
But then, there are lots of rogue practitioners who would do anything for you just for the money and "wash off" themselves from it so that you alone bear the consequences of what happens after..
Contrarily to what your Christian background tells you, Ashe only introduce its own unique energy into your space and not a demon. So your fears are unfounded..
If you're not comfortable with the energy raging inside of you and you want it removed, it can be done. What you need to do is to consult with knowledgeable and experienced practitioner to have it removed from your space. and you're free. |

There is a high rate of rape accusations going around and we need to slow down Abit and stop judging every case looking through the same lens.... Once someone shout rape ...there are a thousand and one people like you who just fly off the rails without thinking critically or looking at the facts and details .. what if after all is said and done the prophet turns out clean and this was just an attack and by that time they have killed the man ... I only asked people to think critically. View the facts and then draw your own conclusions not just hear rape and you pick the pitch fork!!!
Now talking about myself ... I frankly don't get what men get from forcing themselves on a woman like what is that thing that will make me want to do a thing like that ...women are everywhere if you don't have game... Save up your money and pay as you go. I never jumped into any conclusion. The only reason I responded to your intial post was because you were already prejudging the victim without getting full details of what happened. It is possible she might by lying but how do you know she is not telling the truth for you to now suggest it was consentual sex I never judge anything but you did. Pllease stop trying to shift the goalpost and own up to all the unreasonable comments you have made.. Nairaland is a faceless forum. So you can hide and say things you would not dare say if you can be easily identified . The courts should decide . Don't be quick to assume anything. Franzinni: bro I don't care about the prophet matter of fact if I would suggest, I would say he should be castrated on the spot and then left to bleed to death ... My perspective tho
But I will still say a 17 years old who was raped by a 50 year old and she didn't report it till she started falling down and passing out begins to sound like it was not really about the rape but about the fear of what spiritual attack is at play. As the case may be there is NO case on ground if you know the slightest about law ... A rape has to be proven no body will see prison on verbal accusation alone without medical checkup and evidence of rape... See if she has reported it immediately the bruising of forced entry will be fresh and it will be an open closed case but ... She didn't so how do YOU know she was raped ? If you knew the case could get to the court, why prejudging the victim with the little information you have? Yes ,we know some ladies can lie about been raped but it doesn't mean that if a lady was raped and she did not report immediately or let anyone know at that time, then she is lying if she later gets to report.. There could be reason or reasons why she could not have reported at that point in time. Shame, fear of stigmatization, lack of courage and threat to life among others could be some of these reasons. You don't know the actual circumstances concerning this case and what actually may have prevented her from letting anyone know immediately. But here you are trying to blame the 17 year old You said it was because of the so called spiritual effect she decided to report. If that's what you think, then how to you expect her to tell her parents what she believed has caused it without mentioning the rape or according to you "the sex' they had. I hope you don't belong to those perverts who take delight in believing that rape victims who don't report or called for help immediately may have actually enjoyed it and if they ,the victims, later summon courage to report, then they are lying. A few of your expressions and choice of words in your intial comment have made me to think so of you How can you tell if the suspect would not later admit to the crime in court or if they would not find other evidences apart from the ones you mentioned to convict him? Honestly you don't know what you're saying and there's no point continue this conversation |

So you want to tell me a 17 year old is so dumb because they are minors they cant tell right from wrong and magically once they turn 18 they become wise? Is that how you grew up ? Comon think about it ... Also how come you deduced that I am also guilty and of what exactly sherlock? You claim to be a critical thinker while accusing others of not possessing the ability to think critically but have failed to see that an innocent and inexperienced teenager has been taken advantage of. Why do you assume that she should know what to do immediately after? What do you know about the victim and her level of intelligence? Know what it means to actually think critically before boasting about what you can't demonstrate. A 17 year old who was raped by a 50 year old should not be blamed or made to feel quilty for it whether she reported the incident to the police immediately or not. Imagine if she was your daughter My accusation, if you still don't get it by now is that you lack the capacity to think critically.Don't hide under critical think to spew nonsense because all the silly defence you have tried to put up for the rapist can't stand in court |

From above, 1. Would you encourage a JW to marry a non-believing spouse. 2. Suppose she's already married to one, will your church demand her to divorce the husband? 3. By JW doctrine, if you allow her to remain with the unbelieving spouse, is is biblical for her NOT to obey her husband? 4. On who's responsibility fall the spiritual upbringing of their children?
SECONDLY: My argument was that (assuming a true Christian decided against good judgement to marry an Atheist) and feel that he/she is too grounded in faith to fall, can he vouch for his/children's faith?
Have I said anything outside the Scriptures?
The accusation against me is that If I love like Christ, I will allow and encourage TRUE Christians to marry Atheists. The op from what anyone can easily see requires a simple response and not much talk. You know the appropriate answer to give but are unwilling to do so for reasons that are obvious Most of the things you have given as response is only meant to downplay the significance of the message the op is trying to pass across using his marriage as an example. shadeyinka: I think I have answered the OP clearly in this thread before people like you insisted that I ignore the the Christians view of marriage also being a Spiritual union.
Here was my direct answer to the OPs question
Because premium tears has been a result of such kinds of union wham a true Christian marries a person who isn't.
BTW, The rule doesn't apply to Atheists alone. It applies even to church goers.
Any true Christian MUST not marry any one who isn't a true Christian. Whether the person claims to be one or not, whether he is even a pastor or not.
We advocate that a true Christian will marry based on these two spiritual conditions
1. The spouse to be is born again 2. The spouse to be loves God.
Love being a CHOICE means it doesn't just fall on you. You CHOOSE who to give your love. Doesn't a true Christian have the right to choose NOT to be romantically involved with an atheist or any non committed Christian?
Or why do you think sane people just don't fall in love with mad people on the street. Why do you think that only in Nollywood do you see billionaires going to the village to look for a poor well brought up girl as wife.
Love for an atheist is not accepting his atheism but telling him the truth about God and salvation. And Jesus made it clear to us not to FORCE our message on anyone. If they would listen and accept the gospel LEAVE them alone (dust your shoes against them).
But you want the opposite. After a Christian preaches to the one who wouldn't listen to the gospel, he should form a permanent bond with such. It's you who don't know what love is. No point replying you anymore since you continue to deflect from the main thing. We can continue when you're ready to discuss that Can there be happiness between such union? The happiness is an illusion because the woman has hardened her heart to Christ by marrying the atheist. If you're a Christian who reads and understand your Bible very well , you should already know what it says concerning such matters. Its your personal opinion if you think happiness can never come from such marriages. Talk from what you know and have experienced. Not from what you think |

TimeIllusion: Shadeyinka is not only right, he’s also the true Christian. The only true Christian I see on this thread.
From the Christian perspective, eternal damnation has to be avoided no matter what it costs otherwise there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth in the lake of fire. Avoiding godless heathens, atheists, pagans, and other undesirables is to be expected and promoted so that one’s soul is not damned for eternity.
A Christian woman who has chosen to procreate with an atheist has committed a grave sin that has jeopardized her children’s souls. If we take christianity to it’s logical conclusion, Shadeyinka is right. One must do everything to avoid hell like Jesus said. Cut off your tongue, pluck out your eye, set loose the atheist etc
The maxim “love your neighbor as yourself” also means do all you can to ensure that your neighbor avoids hell. So, admonishing the Christian woman for marrying a godless heathen is a show of love. Good ol’ fashioned Christian love. You and shade have not directly answered the op. The issue is not whether believers should be encouraged to marry non believers but if those who are already married can be happy together |

shadeyinka: Love is a CHOICE a person makes to selflessly build and beautify the life of the other person. Love is NOT an emotion even though love feels Emotion whenever it succeeds.
The most important thing to a Christian is to bear Fruit for God through Christ while he/she await his transport to the eternal kingdom of God.
Why would it make sense to risk it by marrying an unbeliever?
An atheist doesn't value God! An atheist doesn't know God! An atheist doesn't care about God! I rather you focused on the op. Its the reason I engaged you. You're deflecting because you're unable to directly answer to anything I have said concerning it. You continue to resist and deny the reality of something that has already happened despite the fact that your quoted bible verses said you shouldn't but must accept. If love is a choice that we make to build and beautify the life of the next person, why standing as an obstacle to those who want to make this choice. Or is it that non believers don't deserve their lives been beautified. Do you even think you're in a position to determine one's choice of love? You talk so much of love without being able to demonstrate it Love is sacrifice. The reason your savior paid the ultimate price even when you don't deserve it. Unfortunately you have not earnt from this Please open another thread of your own if you want to discuss whether a Christian should marry a non believer. What we are discussing here has happened already |
