Sorry you still going through the hassle of your installation, though thought it was all solved with a recommendation you got earlier from a member here.

Here are some possible problems causing your system to not perform as expected.

1. Your panels - a recent run into your panel series bought by a client & from our field test it is shown to produce 77% at peak for short intervals of high sun intensity and operates averagely between 45%-55% or lower in normal to poor solar irradiance

Also your panels could have been placed at a wrong angle and unfavorable angle or they are placed that They don't harvest the sun well due to how the sun pass over them

2. Energy storage & energy going into it - From aforementioned, panel performance let's say your 4.2kWp operates @60% I.e. 2.52KWp for 4 sun hours equal 10KWh
From control test of your 7.5KWh felicity battery, tested by members here your 150Ah is (120Ah@48V) x 2 pieces = 11.5KWh of energy storage but because you run day time loads, assuming Let's say from 8am - 5pm equals to 4KWh of energy usage

Generated energy - energy used = remaining energy in storage

10KWh - 4KWh = 6KWh

Remaining energy / storage capacity = 6KWh / 11.5KWh

You have 52% of energy left in battery by sundown, from your previous posts you are mostly left with three bars of battery

3. Inverter - While kartel is a good product its transformer based build makes it a power hugger, draining your battery even when on idle power and even more to feed its internal components when running other loads as said by a member in previous posts, if you can try using a transformerless inverter like Growatt, Deye, Axpert with a year to two year warranty you can monitor in real time your energy usage and consumption keeping you ahead of the curve

Conclusion
You will need to spend a little more to upgrade and perfect your system with the right equipment and you should have rest from there on.

I can help you have a look at your installation remotely via DUO or Whatsapp, just get some basic handy tools like screw driver, a clear camera and a good network

Your last paragraph is what i had in mind too. It's good he learns rather than just getting someone to fix it.

From.my amateur knowledge,look for a charge controller,the typical PMW should do.Connect it to the battery and set the charge controller LVD to the desired voltage equivalent to 50% DOD.I think that should work.The charge controller will cut off load supply at the set voltage.The experts are here to advise professionally

I read it's bad practice to connect an inverter to the PWM DC load side. But if kept within the specifications, it may work as you said.

Please how does one achieve low voltage disconnect (50% DOD) with an inverter that doesnt have it built-in? Is there any good external device for that? I saw something like that on AliExpress but the circuits are so small I wonder if they are practical.

I guess you can use same circuit but the ac side is where you will be switching off and on will picking signal command from your battery.

If its the one I'm thinking of, well;
1. You could get a rugged 200ahr battery for around 80k. It will give you longee backup time, and you can resell it later and recoup up to 20k.

2. It is not a pure sine wave inverter hence, your ceiling fan is soon going to be toast. Also that ceiling fan is not energy efficient so you are loosing more backup time by using thay fan on your system.

3. The inbuilt charger isn't a UPS styled type. Meaning, if your load is big enough, it will end up draining your battery even when it the charger is running, except you manually change over ALWAYS.

4. I don't know why you want to NOT charge your battery when it is carrying load and there is grid supply.

Please what kind of charger should I buy, my inbuilt charger has stopped charging my battery, it's now showing a stable red light instead of the usual blinking green light.

I use a souer 20amps analog. And so far no issues.
Mind you max amos I've measured externally it produced was 13amps

AliExpress ruled against me. It was a painful experience. I provided pictures and all, but I guess what they needed was a video of me opening the package. How was I to know that the item inside was already broken and therefore make a video of me opening it in order to prove it arrived broken?

I just took it as my loss.

Chai... I always make sure i snap or video package opening whenever i pick up items. Just in case.

You can also order it on a place like AliExpress if you don't mind the 3 weeks waiting time for delivery. It costs like 6k to 10k depending on the size of shunt you want with it.

I ordered for exactly the same type but the seller packed it poorly and by the time it arrived, the screen was already broken and it is unusable. Only the shunt may be useful at a later date.

Very correct... If the electrical load is less is not much, a 3gand relay can be wired with a 12v adapter to mimick an ATS. Thats what i do. And it worked well till my itchy fingers drove me to burn the the adapter... So I just manually flick the pin to nepa or inverter, pending when i replace the adapter.

Pix please. I noticed some suoer msw are more like square waves, while others are more stepped to closely resemble a PSW.

Older suoer models mare not be so friendly with non resistive loads.

Btw, i got a MSW inverter with batter voltage, load, act output voltage display. So far it's being awesome.... And as usual, the efficiency is sweet.

it involves you splitting the 72 cells into two,then connecting them in parallel to achieve the result, you will need a multimeter, a soldering iron, 6mm cables(like 4m) to connect the ends you disconnected. You can go through my posts, I uploaded the pictures a while back
