Ngozi's achievements are plausible, though i'ld hv preferred d people that took d loans on our behave to restitute. However, she's not exactly one of us, cos wit d slightest threat or disagreement, Ngozi is gone to her people in Washington. She's not one of us though i like d way she ties her scarf. She went to Havard, worked in DC for years but still mentains her indigenious accent unlike some of us that will visit for just 2weeks, come back and start forming "ye men".

When i was introduced to Nairaland early last year, i watched and read topics only as an observer and this i did for a very long time before i eventually decided to participate and contribute my little knowledge to some of the topics in the various fora.
However, something caught my fancy as i noticed the screen-names used by some members. From the FUNNY to SCRIPTURAL PICK and the NAUGHTY (Amukwu, Okontami etc), some others i just can not possible hazzard a guess on what may have informed their choice.
I picked mine while i was in thought of a choice of name. Then i was in my leaving room flicking a throw pillow in my hands. So i said to myself, well "let me just use the object" but spell it in a different manner, hence my user name: Tropilo. How did u guys come up with yours?

Its a constitutional issue. Except d constitution is amended to that effort, we'll keep suffering it. Our constitution as it is presently, is damn too CON.

The word Catholic mean Universal. These word was used to refer to Christians of all old when an emperor tried to stop the persecution of Christians. The emperor said "these Christians are Catholica". Meaning "these Christians are everywhere (universal)", and he therefore started refering to Christians as "Catholica".
I think people for a variety of reasons depending on which suits d leaver. My two brothers left cos of there wives. You know when its d woman that is wearing the "trouser in d house", she dictates d tune. One is back to d fold cos he found it did not improve on his economy or life. The other is still tagging along his wife.
The important thing is for everyone to be at peace with his CREATOR thru JESUS CHRIST. Thats all!

Fact is democracy is a very very expensive system of governance, and Nigeria over copied d American system and added more than enough "jara". Besides, our constitution encourages corruption and it will be very difficult to expurnge those grey areas now cos of tribalism and particularly cos d people (NASS) who are to carry out d surgery are d major benefactors. Do u know hw much it costs to maintain d democratic structures in Nigeria from d LG counsellor to Senate President? Our major problem now is our CONstittution. Its damn too CON!

I think a lot of couples pretend too much to one another. If i do not appreciate gifts bought from joint efforts, i should find a way of criticking it in a subtle harmless manner and hope she gets it.
I buy things for wifey but i dont tag dm "gifts".
I hv made my wife realise that if she spends d money on d kids, i appreaciate that more than wen its on me directly. I look at it as a "waste". Whatever she does for d children tickles my fancy and therefore makes me happier. The happiness is my "gift" and i love to be happy!

In Nigeria, d children pass thru too much stress especially d ones leaving in Lagos. De start school at 2yrs. Wake by 5am like adults going to work. Come back home by 4pm. While in school, impatient teachers will scold, threaten and even beat dm. How do u want d children to learn properly?
Besides, der kid that start fast and end badly. De'r also kids that start slowly and end well.

Domestic violence happens everywhere. Not only in Nigeria or Africa and certainly not only on women. Some women straight out kill der hubs, as dm no fit beat dm.
